Waterfront vacation rentals in City of Winchester

Lovely place to stay, very peaceful and private in beautiful settings, clean and comfortable, recently renovated and in very good condition, the kitchen and amenities are very good as is the bathroom, Bedroom had plenty of space for our travel cot. Beth was a very welcoming and super responsive host and we were made to feel very welcome.

What a lovey apartment. So well placed, near to everything. Very clean, modern and very comfortable. Will hopefully return next time I'm in Southsea. Thank you Matt for a perfect, relaxing stay.

Great location, nice area of Bournemouth, top floor with wonderful south facing sea views. Clean, well equiped and nicely decorated , not bland beige. Parking for two cars and a lift so very easy . Perfect for two or four with good sized private bedrooms.Would recommend

Tides is an absolutely beautiful apartment with a stunning balcony that has the best sea views! It was spotlessly clean with lots of little touches that made it feel very homely! Debbie was the absolute perfect host who was extremely helpful & friendly, & responded extremely quickly to my communications. Thank you Debbie we had a truly fantastic stay!

We only stayed two nights but we wished we had stayed longer. The main view out the dining area "picture" window of the beach, sea, surfers, walkers and shipping was simply stunning all day and was an immediate "wow" every time you entered the room. It felt like you were living on the beach!! Would love to go back!

I booked this flat for some relatives to stay for 2 nights between Christmas and NY. They very much enjoyed this short break by the seaside. Located just 100 yards from the sea front in East Wittering. Karen’s communication was excellent. It is a fairly compact flat for 6, but is very nicely organised and decorated. Very happy. We stayed for 6 days in mid-August and it was such a great location and experience for us. Coming up to the day of arrival, Laura was in contact in relation to recommendations for places to see and things to do on site, advice on getting over to the island, where the local shops were etc. The apartment was really quiet and the place was well cared for. When we checked in there was everything there we needed. The fridge was empty and clean, as was the freezer. Everything you would expect for the kitchen was there. You do need to supply your own washing powder, but that was ok. Check out was just as easy and while it was early (10am) there are plenty of ferries running at that time to get you back to the mainland.

Claire’s place was perfect for our short stay. It was clean and well laid out. The bed was comfortable and the neighbourhood was quiet The kitchen was small for cooking, but this was not an issue for us as we were having our meals with nearby family.

Stunning seaside location with direct access to shingle beach. A perfect place to stay any time of year.

Wonderful place to stay with friends for a weekend away. Very well equipped with lots of thoughtful extras and very comfortable beds. Right on the canal and enjoyed a lovely walk to the marina one day. Quick walk in the other direction to Chichester Town centre with an array of shops and restaurants. Would definitely return for another visit in the future.

Corrine’s cottage is in an excellent location, very easy to get to the high street which has loads of lovely restaurants, bars and shops. Inside the cottage it’s super lovely, comfy and clean. Hard to fault to be honest, we’ll definitely be choosing the same location if it’s available next time we go.

We absolutely loved our stay in Seaview, having visited Seaview many times in the past, this was definitely the best place we have stayed. Across the road from the beach with a sea view from the balcony, we couldn't have asked for more. The house is the best equipped of any Airbnb we have stayed at in the past which helps so much when you're only away from home for a week. The kitchen had all of the equipment we needed and a cupboard full of herbs, spices etc. The house is beautifully decorated, with a lovely garden. Seaview is quiet, its not got any of the hustle and bustle of some other seaside towns, so is perfect for a quiet stay on a lovely beach, great for exploring rock pools and fishing, or a walk to Priory bay! The house has been recently refurbished to a very high standard, it's comfortable, relaxing and well equipped for the kids with enough TV stations and board games to keep them entertained when we got them in from the beach! We loved our stay, thanks Crispin!

We had wonderful 3 night stay at Carl's place. The holiday home was well equipped, clean and tastefully decorated. We enjoyed exploring the area including Mudeford (15 min walk Along the beach), The New Forest, and Christchurch. The panoramic views on Hengistbury Hill were worth the walk, as were the sandpit marshes near Christchurch priory. Plenty to see and do!

Full of character, clean and comfortable. Big old house but although cold outside we were cosy indoors. Great location, lovely walks and places to eat on the doorstep. Amazing views. Family really helpful and very welcoming

Lovely space to spend a few days catching up with family. Great communal space upstairs and roomy bedrooms with comfy beds. Nice walks along the river in both directions - amazing number of birds

We had a super few nights at Carol's place for a family gathering. The house was comfortable, the views over the water are spectacular, it was quiet yet within minutes of shops, bars, restaurants and walks. The kitchen was well stocked with sufficient numbers of everything for the people the house can accommodate, there were grocery supplies left in cupboards and Carol had left us a nice welcome pack. All in all we felt it was an ideal place for us and we'd happily come back.

Tricia’s place is fantastic. Perfect spot, perfect host. What more could you want. I can definitely recommend Tricia’s place to anybody heading to Lymington.

The apartment was exceptional, a wonderful sea view. Staying between Xmas & New year it was quite cold, but heating in the apartment was great. The ‘ breakfast goodies ‘ were good & abundant. Near to buses so didn’t use the car, which made the off street parking a blessing! Well worth a visit!

Me, my wife and two kids ( 3 & 8) stayed for two nights to explore the local museums and catch a game at St Mary’s stadium. We absolutely loved it, stunning, clean apartment with beautiful views and walkable to most attractions and city centre. As we left my 8 year old son said “ what a beautiful place “. You will be seeing us again for sure Ted.

Fantastic accommodation in a great location, incredibly well looked after and cleaned. One point to help other people who stay, the parking permit is very handy allowing you to park for free in multiple locations. However it is not very clear at the car park what the "no return" period after the 20 hours elapsed. I asked the parking officer (who is very active....) what the rule is and he said he assumed 2 hours, but was not very clear. "Some people" have been known to keep moving the time forward on the clock with no parking ticket issues. Don't let this put you off, just make sure you keep your permit clock valid to avoid a pesky parking ticket!

Very clean and comfortable space. Check in was super smooth and communication was great. Exactly as advertised. We had a great stay - no hesitation to recommend :)

We had a wonderful stay in Tara’s apartment, the bed was so comfortable, everything spotlessly clean and we had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped and the view from the lounge stunning. Also the information about the local area was perfect, we walked up to Boscombe Pier one afternoon and stopped by Riva Cafe for lunch which we would have missed without the helpful information. I wouldn’t change a thing about our stay and hopefully one day we will be back.
