Luxury Country Cottage (5/6p) Private Lake, HotTub

MichaelRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Absolutely magical stay! Sarah’s Airbnb exceeded all expectations. The private lake was serene and perfect for morning coffees and evening strolls, and the hot tub under the stars was the ultimate way to unwind. The scenery is absolutely stunning—pictures don’t do it justice. And we can’t forget Wilson the cat, who made us feel truly at home with his cheeky little visits (and his “presents”)! Every detail was thoughtful, and Sarah was a fantastic host. We’ll definitely be back!

Great communication. Good location with some nice eateries locally and easy access into Leeds. Dedicated parking is a bonus. We stayed with an infant for a wedding in Leeds and it was an ideal base.

lakeside cottage

DaniellaRating, 5 stars5 months ago
This place, wow, really wow. Stunning location, beautiful grounds and the cottage flows beautifully. Clean, clutter free and stylishly decorated with everything you would need for a super and relaxing home from home staycation. The host, Freeda, gave a lovely warm welcome, and was super helpful throughout our stay. She was informative with clear directions of how to get there and whats in the area. Freeda and her husband went above and beyond with a lovely surprise gift as we were celebrating our 25th anniversary to the help with a flat tyre on our first morning. We came for a planned overnight but stayed an extra day, simply didn't want to leave. 10 out of 10 for cottage and host.

There was good communication prior to us arriving. The apartment was spotless, seems very new, everything was comfortable. Loads of space! There were four of us and it was anything but cramped. Even with double the number of people it would still feel extremely spacious. Amazing view from the balcony - we didn't go in summer but would be amazing to sit out there in the sunshine! You're quite near a main road but you don't hear it and it means you've got easy access to the towns, villages and countryside nearby. Perfect if you want to explore. If we're back in the area we'd definitely check to see if the apartment is available. Highly recommended.
A holiday home exterior is shown, featuring a green structure with a spacious deck and steps leading to the entrance. A picnic table is positioned on the lawn, surrounded by well-maintained grass. The sky is clear with a few clouds.

Cozy room with plenty of light in a quiet area

EmmaRating, 5 stars15 months ago
Edris was a fantastic host. He went above and beyond. We felt very welcome and had more than we needed. The chocolate treats to go with a cuppa were very much appreciated as well as the blueberries. We felt very much at home with lots of cuddles from Sunrise (the cat). We had full use of the kitchen and living area, with a very comfortable bed. The bus stop was right outside the apartment, making links to the city really easy and accessible. Edris was quick to respond to messages and was lovely to chat to. We loved our stay!

A Luxuary Get-Away

SallyRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Great little apartment. just what we needed for an overnight stay. Tea and Coffee a nice touch. previous reviews mentioned lack of a bathroom mirror, this has now been rectified. heating easy to adjust as required. it is on a busy road, but this would really only affect people staying on the sofa bed in the lounge area. 5min walk to local pub and 15min walk to nearest village. would stay again.

River Views, Private Fishing & 9 min Train to York

NickRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We stayed here over easter with family. We chose it as it was a convinent location for me and my wife + two children to meet up with my parents and spend a few days together. It was perfect for this as it was a spacious house with good outside space and countryside for dog walks etc. plenty to offer in the kitchen and living areas so we could enjoy being together. We all had a lovely time over 3 nights and found the place very comfortable, well provisioned and clean. My two young children enjoyed the bunk bed, garden and spacious areas for playing etc. My elderly parents enjoyed the downstairs bedroom & en suite off the dining room - avoiding the stairs. The main bedroom was comfortable and the location was peaceful. All in all an excellent stay. Thanks Steph!
A charming entrance is marked by a pale blue picket fence, leading into a well-tended garden. Lush greenery and flowering plants surround the pathway, with a sign indicating 'Cottage.' The tranquil atmosphere is enhanced by the scenic backdrop of trees and hills.

Cottage with garden now booking Summer / Autumn.

My friend and I had 3 lovely days at Chew Cottage. It’s in a beautiful area, with local pubs and fabulous walking. The house is quirky and as described. Lovely little garden and house was very cosy. Jeanne was pro-active in responding to a problem with the Tv signal, arranging for the aerial to be repaired the next morning. As an Airbnb host myself, I appreciated the facilities and good communication. Lots of free on street parking nearby I .e. Just across the road.

The Old Rope Mill - A Nidderdale Riverside Retreat

Sarah JaneRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Had an incredible stay and amazing night's sleep. So peaceful, so tidy, so classy and had everything we needed. It's total luxury. The only negative, one night wasn't enough. Thank you hosts for your patience, wasn't very communicative between navigating a new phone all week and lack of signal. Already want to come back. Thank you so much.

Waterside Lodge Fifteen - UK36708

ValerijaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Me and my partner took his relatives for a short trip out while visiting UK. As soon as we walked through the front door, relatives mouths were on a floor, it was nothing as they expected. The place was so beautiful and homely and well designed. We were so happy with separate bathrooms so we didn't need to queue by the bathroom door each day. Glass round ish dining table was surreal, which made room look bigger. Great amount of logs provided. Hot tub was awesome! Relatives thought it will be too cold outside but once they were in, nobody could get out! Haha Everyone started to plan the next trip in summer here once everything is green outside. Couldn't ask for more. Description said no towels or shampoo. We got towels provided, which was a nice touch. No shampoos but I thought also no hand wash etc, but that things were provided. Oven was spotless, which made the place feel way cleaner too! Overall great stay and sounds like we will be back!

Mrs Fig's House - stunning views near Pennine Way.

ClareRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Mrs Fig’s House is an utter delight. Even before we arrived we loved reading about the work which went into its renovation and the sustainable ethos. Our stay somehow even exceeded our expectations - from arriving to delicious home-baked treats to all the thoughtful and helpful touches in the cottage. Views spectacular and local walks a joy. Private, cosy and peaceful - but with Sarah and John kindly on hand for anything we might need. Thank you both, we’d love to return.

Charming riverside escape in an historic mill

KatherineRating, 5 stars2 months ago
We had a wonderful stay, the house is very comfortable, spotlessly clean and has everything that you could possibly want. The countryside is beautiful, with lots of lovely walks and places to visit nearby. We particularly appreciated how dog friendly Helen's property was, with Winnie's very own welcome basket and towels and throws provided to keep the furniture clean. We would love to come back again, thank you again!
