Stewart met us upon our arrival and went out of his way to make us feel right at home. We were left to enjoy the privacy and peacefulness of the beautiful quaint cottage and the animals that lived on the premises. It was absolutely perfect for what we needed for our 2 day stay in Johannesburg, with the location also perfect as everything we needed was within a 10 minute drive. We will definitely return!

We so enjoyed our stay, the accommodation, location and surroundings were perfect. Stu & Ali were wonderful hosts and very welcoming. We were made to feel like old friends and will definitely be back again.

What an absolute hidden gem that I can only highly recommend!!! Chrystelle and Johan couldn’t do enough for my family and I during our stay which made my mom’s 70th birthday celebrations extra special. Rooms were spacious and clean and very comfortable. A great breakfast served in the morning too... Thanks for a memorable stay - we will definitely be back!!

Wow what a beautiful spot to get away for a few days. We booked last minute and firhana’s was so helpful for our family. Very friendly and helpful while we were there as-well. The views are outstanding and such a peaceful place and the pool is lovely. Great little find :)

Jen’s place is truly the perfect retreat for your family. The house is extremely well equipped and located on a beautiful and peaceful plot. The bedrooms are spacious and accommodating and the house has many living and entertainment facilities. My family and I had absolutely everything that we needed. Jen is the most attentive host, she was quick to respond and did so with kindness and humility. My kids were constantly engaged with multitudes of activities and equipment on site… from the massive grounds to the bicycles, skateboards, hoverboards etc! They were never bored. I would highly recommend this stay. Especially for families. Thank you Jen. A winning stay.

The cottage is exactly what we were looking for. A rural retreat away from the hustle and bustle of Johannesburg. If you want to feel like you are away in nature yet somewhat part of a working farm then this is the place for you. With it being situated inside an indigenous nursery just made it so much more special. Not to speak about the farm fresh milk and cream in the fridge. Bliss!!

What a beautiful, relaxing place. Had everything you need and more. Amazing small touches like kids cutlery and crockery, extra towels, linen and even a hairdryer. Hosts were super accommodating, friendly, happy to show us around. We felt welcomed and had an amazing time. Thank you so very much for everything, we loved Mount Nebo!

One of the loveliest homes I have ever stayed at. Absolute peace beauty. The view is breathtaking and the home is a stunning well-maintained 1940s home with renovated essentials. What made the experience so memorable is how lovely the host and the people on the property are. So kind and helpful, without intruding on your space. I can highly recommend this stay 🫶🏼
