Review for Mooiplaats: What a lovely, little farm getaway. Bea and her husband, Wim, are amazing hosts and great people. The BnB is fitted with all you need to enjoy a peaceful and lovely time. Surrounded by the sounds of the farm at night, the little farm house is private and perfect. They also have their own butchery with the best bacon ever! I would highly recommend this gem to anyone with an appreciation of farmstyle living. The surrounding area also has an amazing "Melkery". So between lovely cheeses and great meat, you are sorted. And for R75pp, lovely Bea might organise a tasty farmhouse breakfast... 5/5.

Our stay at this lovely farm was so delightful. It’s a well equipped house with a gorgeous view, swimming area, and an easily accessible walking trail. The hostess, Gael, was very proactive and friendly ensuring our time there was quite memorable.

I stayed at Stoney Brooke for 3 months, all my needs where met, they are very accomodating, I loved staying there, the peace and quiet is very good for the soul. I will stay there again next year.

We (dog included) enjoyed a wonderful stay on the farm. The description Sam gives on Air BnB is highly accurate. Perfect getaway from the city, enjoying the quiet and stillness of the farm. A nice walk along the farm roads was excellent. All the amenities were included, just bring some basics like Salt & Pepper, cooking oil etc. All in all a great stay, highly recommended!

My wife and I needed a well-deserved break and we were pleasantly surprised by the serenity of the farm even though it is not far from city life. We were met by Ninell with warmth and friendliness. The cottage is beautiful with everything you need. Everything is spotless and the braai area is cosy and large enough for when their dogs come to visit. There are tons to do around the farm, we drove out to Rietvlei Nature Reserve and had amazing viewings. We would highly recommend this beautiful cottage, especially if you are looking for a place not too far just to take a breather from the rat race.

What an absolute gem just outside Parys. Lovely location, peaceful and quiet. Will definitely be back!

Awesome, a truly unique "bush" experience with all the comforts of home, ... except television !! Which was awesome !! Lots for kids to do and explore. I loved the set-up of the cabin we stayed in "Vultures View". Really great .. all the bedrooms open onto the pool deck, as well as the massive kitchen doors which keeps everyone connected and relaxed. Go with comfort !!! Marty G.

We had an amazing stay! The place was clean, comfortable, and exactly as advertised. Everything we needed was available, and the location was peaceful—perfect for a relaxing getaway. Had a fantastic stay! The home was cozy, clean, and well-equipped with everything we needed. What made it extra special were the morning walks with our dogs in the beautiful surroundings – plenty of trails and fresh air. The location is peaceful yet convenient, and the host was welcoming and responsive. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking to relax and enjoy some quality time with their furry friends!

The cottage was very cute! Even with the rainy weather, we really enjoyed our time there due to the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful nature, and the animals passing by. Linda and Peter provided us with very clear and useful instructions to get there. I really recommend following their instructions rather than the Google Maps / GPS. In the cottage, we also found an extensive list of activities and restaurants nearby as well as maps! Thank you again!

Amazing!!! George the housekeeper on premises was on point and was always there. Great for a family get together of 14-15 people and built in such a way that everyone has their own space with beautiful views of the dam. House and surrounding gardens are immaculate.

We had a wonderful experience. The house was great, the staff team was very kind and the children had a big garden area to play in. The cats in the area did aggravate my allergies, but it was a good experience overall. Would recommend for a weekend getaway!

Madeleine and Johan were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our stay in the beautiful and relaxing setting. The kids loved paying with the dogs and feeding the ostriches and having the freedom to run around. We will definitely be back!

The farm is a little piece of heaven and the house is absolutely beautiful and well equipped. Talitha’s communication pre arrival to Tommy and Prince looking after all our needs, it was a a wonderful holiday and my family had the best time. The picnic was great and the Tommy made our game drive special.

We had the most glorious weekend at at Owl House celebration a friend's upcoming nuptials. The house is magnificent. Beautifully decorated. Spotlessly clean. Pristine big kitchen. Multiple seating and dining areas and a pool. My daughters wanted to ride the horses. Trish came and took them out herself. The resident staff and professional, warm and hard hardworking. Nothing was too much to ask of them. A wonderful home for an extended family or friends get away! We will be back. Thank you Trish
