The location is quiet and beautiful, right on the riverbank. The heating was on for when we arrived so we stepped into a nice toasty and cosy cottage. The beds were really comfortable and everything was just lovely. The hot tub was also amazing!! Would love to stay here again!

Such a lovely stay with Jenna. We stayed in the Annexe and it was beautifully clean, well equipped and instantly we felt at home. Super comfortable bed and lovely hot tub!

We stayed here on New Year’s Eve and had the best time! The hot tub was pre-heated as requested and the house was absolutely beautiful. Very quirky, interesting interior and spotless. Fabulous place! Beautiful surroundings, very peaceful and private. Claudia was extremely kind and responsive throughout our stay. House was beautiful and very spacious, would recommend you pack warm during the winter months as it got a bit chilly but with some fluffy socks, blankets and a cup of tea it was perfectly cosy! Hottub was amazing, always warm and nice and clean. Thank you!

Lovely cottage just outside of Bath, but very conveniently located. Absolutely no issues at, although it's definitely easier to find in the daytime than in the dark! One thing to note for future guests is that cutlery can be found inside one of the larger drawers, in a smaller 'hidden' drawer. Took us a while to find that!

Really lovely stay in a cosy little cottage. The kitchen was really well equipped, the bed was super comfortable and the hot tub was a massive bonus! Would definitely stay again :)

What a lovely little home. We couldn’t have asked for anything more of the place. Was absolutely stunning inside and out, the whole place was so clean and cosy. The garden area was clean and well kept. Would definitely recommend this place to all family and friends and will most certainly be returning!

What a wonderful two days away in a tucked away gem right near the Forest of Dean. The accommodation is very homely and well equipped and super cosy. If your a light sleeper like me be warned it is right on a main road so there is some traffic noise and vibration from the lorries but my other half argues he didn't hear a thing! We arrived when it was dark so when the morning light appeared and we opened the curtains we were taken away by the absolutely beautiful setting of the grounds. Tracey and David have done a wonderful job and they are so lovely. Would recommend to anyone looking for a warm and comfortable spot. Took the time to acknowledge our special occasion and left us with the most delicious coffee and fresh bread. In making the effort in those final touches really added to the charm.

We had a wonderful stay in the cottage! It was cozy, comfortable, and central for all that we wanted to see and do. I would highly recommend a stay here, and we hope to be back soon! xx

My partner and I throughly enjoyed our time at Little Gem Cottage. Amanda was very helpful supplying useful information and was very good at communicating with us. The cottage was beautifully decorated and cleaned to a high standard. The location was perfect and recommended restaurants especially the mouse trap were throughly enjoyed. We will return.

We had a lovely stay, it’s our second time at this property! And is ideal for what we were looking for! The place is very peaceful and welcoming! The private garden area is ideal for those travelling with dogs. Lovely walks close by and the home is very cosy for relaxing. The bed is super comfortable so had a great nights sleep. We would definitely return for another trip.

We’ve just arrived home from a lovely 2 night stay at Maxine and John’s place after celebrating my partners birthday. We loved the space and were impressed from the minute we arrived. Maxine was a great host providing plenty of good information prior to arrival with lots of recommendations for days out, restaurants, local amenities etc. The Old Mill is so cosy, comfortable we particularly loved the log burner after spending our days out walking. The space is finished to a very high standard and the bed is extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the Cotswolds.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We had such a wonderful stay in Deer View Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Everything about the cottage is perfect. The beds are comfortable, a great selection of glasses inc nice large wine glasses, lovely M&S crockery and lots of utensils. Blockley is a beautiful village with some wonderful local walks, with the rest of the Cotswolds close by. We fell in love with Dylesford Organic farm shop and had the most wonderful meal at The Bull in Charlbury. Michelle was very quick to respond during our stay and provided useful information leading up to our stay. Thank you Michelle and family for letting us stay in Deer View Cottage.

Lovely little cottage where I based myself for a week with my dog. There's a track that leads up into the woods to the left of the cottage and you can walk and walk. House was lovely and clean, everything you need for self catering. Quiet and peaceful and Lorraine was a lovely host.

Charming cottage tucked away down a quiet lane. Warm and snug when we arrived, and a really lovely and cosy place to use as a base for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend - especially if you have pets!

Lovely bolthole, perfectly located for exploring some beautiful gardens. The offer of parking in the drive rather than opposite the cottage was much easier and much appreciated. We would definitely consider staying again.

Rick was brilliant with helping us plan the trip, very responsive and helpful. the cottage was lovely and cosy, thoughfully decorated for Christmas, just what we hoped for. Rick gave us loads of helpful information and came and set up the speaker we couls play music. the only drawback is that Ruardean doesnt have shops or a pub, and you need to drive to get to the nice walks, its only 10 or 20 minutes to loads of beautiful forest walks, so not a massive deal, but you definitely need a car and driver. but overall a lovely cosy cottage Christmas, welcoming Church service, and refreshing forest walks. thank you Rick!

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hampden Lodge, such a cosy and private space to stay over new year. Well equipped and some fantastic surroundings to walk! Pam was an outstanding host, and helped with the questions we had throughout our stay very promptly. She even left a NYE hamper for us, thanks so much Pam!

An incredible stay over Christmas with my family. Ann made so much effort with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree, wreath and decorations throughout. The home is beautifully decorated and we felt right at home. The kitchen is equipped with everything you might need! Ann & Pete were super friendly and very responsive! The beds were very comfortable and the bathroom clean and spacious. Thank you for sharing your wonderful cottage with us. We immediately felt at home and wish we could stay longer.

If you are looking for a characterful Cotswold cottage with privacy, an intimate environment & just enough features to remain fully functional & connected with the outside world when you need to be, then this could be for you. It's situated within a very quiet village but several pubs & restaurants are only 10min drive away. Large outdoor space that's buffered from surrounding farmland the hosts were easy to deal with & responsive.

The cottage was nice and private in the middle of the fields with nothing around. Very cosy and warm especially when putting the fire on from the wood cut left for us by the owners. Definitely would stay here again. Me and the family had a lovely Christmas. Thank you
