Everything was perfect place to stay, safe and clean, close to main attractions, tram station, many convenience stores nearby, good food, shopping mall.The only thing that is missing is that the elevator is on the 3rd floor, and you need to carry your own luggage to the 3rd floor.I'll come back next time. Thank you.

We enjoyed our stayed at the apartment with the family. There is a children's community centre near by that is free and has lots to do for young children. Kumamoto castle park is at a walkable distance and so is Kumamoto train station. We also got a very personal check in which we very much appreciated.

I stayed at Makiko’s house with three friends, and we had a truly wonderful experience. The house looks exactly as described — cozy, clean, and full of charm. It’s located in a quiet, peaceful residential area and has a beautiful garden where two adorable dogs live. Don’t worry if you’re not a fan of animals — the dogs stay in a separate area and won’t enter your rooms, so you can relax comfortably. The location is also perfect — it’s just about a 10-minute drive or a 20-minute walk to Kumamoto Castle and the city center. Kumamoto Castle is absolutely breathtaking — it’s massive, rich in history, and unlike anything you’ll see elsewhere. It’s definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the area. Makiko is a wonderful host — incredibly friendly, thoughtful, and quick to respond to any questions. She made sure our stay was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. If I ever have the chance to visit Kumamoto again, I would definitely love to stay at Makiko’s house once more. Highly recomme
