Alejandra was very responsive to any questions or issues we had before and during the stay. She was also very flexible in working with us on the check-in and check-out time. I would recommend this apartment.

We had a nice stay at Mau's house. The house is perfectly located, allowing us to enjoy direct access to the beach. What impressed us most was the purity of the sea, a true virgin paradise, full of shells. Mau was always responsive and attentive to all our needs.

Maria’s place is beautiful! Perfect for sharing with another family. Our kids loved the pool and the adults loved the outside seating area. So many amenities in the house including washer & dryer. You do have to walk a little longer than I was planning with kids, but for adults it’s fine. Also an OXO very close and convenient. We would stay here again! Thank you Maria!

The place is just what is advertised. The beach is quiet, perfect for kids. Everything is very clean, safe and quiet. Jose was always on the lookout and there are employees at the place who help in whatever needed.

It was a really big apartment, with really a lot of space for the 4 people which we came with. She made us feel very welcome, give a big tour through the house and even gave us a welcome cake. The place is a bit far from downtown, but within a few blocks there are plenty of restaurants, and the center is perfectly reachable by cab.

Highly recommended! Super quiet area, the house is as advertised. Carlos and Helga were very attentive from the first moment. The house is in good condition, and it is very spacious, especially if they go with groups, families or children! I hope to repeat it soon!

Excellent location and stay. Just a few blocks from Paseo Montejo and Centro. Excellent spot in the backyard to hangout. And when it was warm the hammock provided a great space to nap. AC worked well, and the little hormigas weren’t too bothersome once I got used to them! Would stay again, really didn’t want to leave!

We had an amazing stay at Elena's condo! The place is clean, great location and had everything you need to call it "home" for your stay. Washer and dryer in the unit is a bonus! The pool is great and they look after it daily. Elena was very prompt with her replies and was always available or had someone available if you have any questions or need anything Thank you Elena for a great stay and positive experience! We would definitely recommend and be back!!

Martha's place is pequeno perfection. The apartment was charming with cute decorative pieces and wonderful skylights that let in lots of natural light. It is stocked with everything one would need for a comfortable stay. Martha was gracious enough to ask if there was anything that I needed prior to my arrival, and when I said "water," she brought me 20 liters. The apartment is small in size but large in character. It's a nice place to stay.

The place was beyond our expectations. Paula was an amazing host and assured that we had everything we needed. Met us on check in day to make sure she answered all questions and provided suggestions for restaurants and things to go. She was beyond helpful. The place felt like a home. All my family and friends loved it. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a place to stay in Merida. Thank you!

We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay at Neil's WONDERFUL property. There were two bedrooms with en-suite baths - far enough apart to give privacy. The living room and bedrooms had air conditioners which were really appreciated; there were fans in all the rooms. The decor was very inviting -- artwork in every room and very comfortable beds and furniture. The baths were spacious with lots of hot water in the showers. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need; I can't think of anything that was lacking. Neil was the ideal host - his communication was top-notch, and he had a book with all the information on the unit as well as helpful suggestions as to the area -- restaurants, etc. There is a super market a couple of blocks away, and the zoo if just around the corner. The pool and outside space is super. Whether it was coffee in the morning or a dip in the pool after being in town - it's ideal. Thank you, Neil, for making our stay magical. Highly recommended.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. There were 13 of us total and we had room to spare. The entire Casa Bugambilias team was extremely helpful and accommodating, and provided excellent recommendations. Thanks for having us!

It's a very nice and comfortable house, close to all amenities and restaurants, my dog really enjoyed the garden. Caesar and his wife were very attentive, kind and flexible with schedules, highly recommended!

The location was perfect. The house sits on a main road but has private parking that blocks any heavy noise that the road might bring. It is right on the sea with just a few steps down and you are directly on a sandy beach. The pool was clean and perfect for a quick dip to cool off. There was plenty of outdoor furniture that was comfortable and clean. The house was fantastic. It has 3 very large bedrooms, one with an ensuite bathroom, the other two share a bathroom. There were some very good details on how to operate everything in the house that ranged from how to hang a hammock to how to operate the on-demand hot water. There were plenty of items in the kitchen and everything we needed (although we didn't cook a dinner-time meal.) The bathrooms were clean with good water pressure and up to date. All the beds were comfortable and we all slept well. Christine and Sonja were instantly available and happy to offer suggestions and recommendations when we asked.

We so enjoyed our stay at Villa Romantica. We were able to have 3 generations of our family (from across USA) join us here. This home is so beautiful. Imagine 90% of your stay is ‘outside’, the living area, dining room, roof top terrace, and Kitchen are all outside. The only time you are inside is to sleep, and yes you can air condition the 3 bedrooms. You will pay for electric but by air conditioning the bed rooms at night our cost for a week was just over $50. Our day to day host contact was Natalie. She kept in constant contact for any need and also volunteered daily activities going on in Mérida. We found the people of Mérida very polite. We rented a vehicle a large suburban and were always able to find parking close in front of ‘Villa Romantica’ (during peak rental season). We drove to the ruins at Chichen Itza, the beach at Progreso, and the grocery stores. Unless you have a large group (we had 8). Driving in the tight streets of Merida El Centro was a bit stressful.

It was everything we expected, large gardens and trees surrounding the house and our happy dogs running safely. The house is spacious, clean, fresh, with high ceilings. The staff was always attentive to us in case anything was offered. I suggest terne one or two standing fans in the house to refresh hot afternoons when there is no breeze. They bring repellent xq if there are a few mosquitoes.

Goals achieved We spent a month in the beach cottage. I would like to express our satisfaction, as our objectives in choosing this house from the start are quite simply achieved: - enjoy the beach every day in the mornings, - enjoy the pool every day in the afternoons, - and live the Mexican experience in a typical and authentic Mexican house. All of this was made possible largely thanks to Raúl's kindness. Raúl is a gentleman and a very good communicator. He was attentive, present, and responded very quickly to our messages. Note that the noise from the 2 adjacent primary schools (weekdays, until 3:00 p.m.) did not bother us so much, because we go out in the mornings. Many thanks Raúl, hoping to return one day!

We really enjoyed our stay at this room. The place was clean, smelled good and is in a good location. I would highly recommend! Small downside, there are no windows in the room, only skylights. But the place was still very nice!

Casa Carlito was fantastic! Located in a friendly, quiet neighbourhood, the house is very close to La Plancha - a wonderful place for evening strolls. Also, easy walking distance to the Paseo. We enjoyed the (filtered) pool and patio very much - both for cooling down and simply enjoying a bit of downtime. In the evening, the scent of jasmine is often carried in on the breeze, which is lovely! And, the hammock is a great place to get lost in a book. The beds were very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bikes were an added bonus! The walls of patio doors by the pool and patio area and in the upstairs bedroom are brilliant - we opened them up in the morning and the evening to let the breeze in and then shut them for the heat of the afternoon and overnight - this kept the house very comfortable. Charles and Jesus were incredibly responsive to any questions we had. We hope to return again next year!

Casa Frida was perfect for exploring Merida. Not a single issue with the apartment, location, or our gracious hosts. We had a car and parking was easy and great. I think it’s quite walkable and there is some great food nearby. Excellent stay, I would recommend to anyone.

,This was our second year at Casa Wayib. It truly feels like our home away from home. We appreciate the location, it is walkable to all of El Centro, plazas, el mercado, great restaurants. We cooked breakfast each morning, & cooked several dinners as well. BBQ on the roof is great, the kitchen is well appointed & had everything we needed including sharp knives. The thoughtful supplies are also very appreciated (insect repellent, After Sun products, coffee, etc. The pool is a wonderful way to cool off after walking in the heat of the day. The guest staff were responsive, very helpful answering questions & making recommendations, & arranging a taxi for us to the airport. The only issue was the washer/dryer not working, but that was also handled helpfully by the hosts. We plan to return next year again!
