Perfect spot for those wanting to be near the sea and great coffee shops and restaurants. Lana was a perfect host - we really appreciated the home comforts on arrival. The apartment was bigger than expected and was lovely and warm during a cold snap. Thanks for a great stay.

We enjoyed the accommodation very much! The apartment is very nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Everything is well described and explained, so that no unanswered questions can arise during the stay. The apartment is wonderfully located, overlooking the water on the upper of three floors. You can walk to the shops or take the bus to downtown. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. It is important to them to provide guests with a great stay and that shows. Highly recommend!

Mary was a warm and gracious host. She communicated quickly to all our queries. The apartment was exactly as advertised. Quiet ,clean, well supplied, and with a beautiful waterfront view. I would love to visit again and highly recommend Mary's place to anyone.

This simple kiwi Bach was simply idyllic. From the unbeatable panoramic views to the stylish and cosy bedding, it had everything we needed. We gave several games a go that were provided - ‘Yakkity’, Charades, Game of Life… we brought our own rackets and spent plenty of time on the nearby tennis court; we did a little coasteering down to the ‘3 Points Island’ and chilled out watching a bit of Netflix. A thoroughly good time had by all.

The house is gorgeous and we felt it was a privilege to stay there. The morning coffee watching the sunrise was a real treat. The attention to details and the extra starter supplies were a real special touch. The house was amazing and opening the Oceanside doors brought nature to us! We will stay again!!!

There were three of us staying for three nights. Wish we would have stayed longer. This is a fabulous house, full stop. If it's available for the days that work for your travel schedule, do yourself a favor and book it. The views are great from the decks, and it's such a peaceful place. It's an easy drive into Christchurch and convenient for exploring nearby areas like Sumner and Akaroa. The house was new, large, tastefully decorated, and super clean. Communications with Viv were excellent and replies were prompt. Check-in and check-out were super easy too. This house is a 10/10.

We would recommend this place. We stayed here for one night as a group of four (if you're coming with four people, two of you will be sleeping on a sofa bed). The host reached out in advance to ask if we wanted the sofa bed prepared, which we confirmed. However, upon arrival, we had to set it up ourselves. We found the necessary bedding and blankets in the bedroom closet, but we weren’t entirely sure if they had been freshly changed, as they seemed slightly used. Despite that, our overall experience was positive and without major issues. The house is within walking distance of a beautiful beach and pier, which we really appreciated. Thank you for the stay!

I booked this apartment for my partner while she was visiting Christchurch, and she truly enjoyed her stay. Lily was incredibly responsive and always willing to help, which made the whole experience smooth and stress-free. Her thoughtful communication and attention to detail didn’t go unnoticed, and we really appreciated how easy it was to reach out to her with any questions or requests. The apartment itself was very clean, cozy, and situated in a lovely neighborhood. It had a warm, homey feel that made my partner feel settled right away. The peaceful surroundings added to the charm, making it an ideal place to unwind after a day of exploring Christchurch. One of the highlights of her stay was a peaceful morning walk to the beach, where she watched the sunrise, a moment she described as truly magical. Thank you for hosting her so wonderfully!

A beautiful house in a gorgeous location, this is my second visit and I was not disappointed. Only wish it was warmer so I could swim in the sea.
