Superb find and only 45 minutes from home, but felt a million miles away! Very quaint, cozy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect along side the cottage too. Having the added Sky available was also a rare but perfect addition that you don’t always get away from home. Comfy bed, lovely shower and all in all, a lovely little place to stay. This Cottage was the perfect little stay for two at Christmas! Beautiful and peaceful surroundings, felt completely private in the countryside was blissful!

Sallys place is beautiful, a rare gem stuck in time. the gardens particularly stuck out and the wild ducks topped it off. i would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to get away from everyday life for a while. only thing i would say is it was pretty cold due to it being an old building and difficult to heat but it was January! Cottage was lovely in the middle of the countryside, we did a brilliant walk ending at an excellent pub the mayfly. Property was lovely, well hosted with a welcome package and very responsive hosts. Would return again, we had a lovely weekend.

Keith and Jean were absolutely amazing hosts. They picked us up & dropped us off at the train station. Their place was beautiful, so many little details thought of. Towels & outside shoes for the hot tub, water next to the bed etc. The beds were like sleeping on a cloud, so insanely comfortable. The backyard was incredible. A perfect little oasis of peace. We had the best girls weekend away we could've asked for. Thanks so much for having us, we will be back for sure!

Situated in an idyllic valley it seems far from the busy world but in fact is just a few minutes drive from the pretty village of Sarratt which boasts some great traditional pubs. If you thought this part of Hertfordshire was just a suburb of north London then think again - there are some real large pockets of traditional rural England and Crestyl Cottage is situated in a secluded valley of one of those beautiful pockets. Its a birdwatchers' heaven - a resident kingfisher, egrets, and a variety of birds of prey, waders, and ducks during our winter stay made the cottage windows always interesting. Bring binoculars if you have them - there is so much to see. The cottage is lovely, very comfortable with great TV and internet connectivity. The superking size bed is so comfortable that we have asked where we can buy one! The cottage is really spotless - Sarah the owner does it all herself and it really is immaculate. It feels brand new! So do visit - thoroughly recommended!

My partner and I throughly enjoyed our time at Little Gem Cottage. Amanda was very helpful supplying useful information and was very good at communicating with us. The cottage was beautifully decorated and cleaned to a high standard. The location was perfect and recommended restaurants especially the mouse trap were throughly enjoyed. We will return.

We had an amazing stay. We were there for a quick 3 day trip from the states to visit family in billingshurst. It was absolutely perfect for us as a family with a small toddler. The location was ideal for seeing the family and the parking was incredibly convenient! I honestly think it was even cuter in person than in the photos. We will definitely stay again for our next visit!

2 Badgers Rest is worth its rating. Tina our host was helpful, let us know she was available but not at all intrusive. The cottage is clean and warm with good quality furnishings and super comfy bed. 5 Star throughout and we will look forward to another visit.

We enjoyed a very beautiful and peaceful few nights in this wonderful location. The cottage itself was amazing both in the finishes and the historic charm. We walked around the ground and checked out all of the horses, alongside feeding the very friendly birds - my 4 year old daughter really liked it. During the evenings we had a roaring fire in the living room, and greatly enjoyed cooking with the Aga. Hilary is a great communicator and very responsive, I would absolutely recommend this place and we look forward to returning

We’ve just arrived home from a lovely 2 night stay at Maxine and John’s place after celebrating my partners birthday. We loved the space and were impressed from the minute we arrived. Maxine was a great host providing plenty of good information prior to arrival with lots of recommendations for days out, restaurants, local amenities etc. The Old Mill is so cosy, comfortable we particularly loved the log burner after spending our days out walking. The space is finished to a very high standard and the bed is extremely comfortable. We would definitely stay here again if we were visiting the Cotswolds.

It was a lovely stay at a beautiful cottage. The cottage was everything we hoped for a little two day get away. We spent time on local walking footpaths and getting to know the local pubs. Our recommendations are; The Falcon, Ye Olde Reine Deer Inn and The Blinking Owl over the road. The owners of the Blinking Owl were lovely hosts, really traditional English pub and great food from Sylvia! We spent our New Years Eve there and it was a lovely evening. Couldnt have asked for a better stay. Mary was super helpful and responsive on the run up to the stay. We hope to visit again soon.

We had such a wonderful stay in Deer View Cottage. The cottage is beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. Everything about the cottage is perfect. The beds are comfortable, a great selection of glasses inc nice large wine glasses, lovely M&S crockery and lots of utensils. Blockley is a beautiful village with some wonderful local walks, with the rest of the Cotswolds close by. We fell in love with Dylesford Organic farm shop and had the most wonderful meal at The Bull in Charlbury. Michelle was very quick to respond during our stay and provided useful information leading up to our stay. Thank you Michelle and family for letting us stay in Deer View Cottage.

Charming cottage tucked away down a quiet lane. Warm and snug when we arrived, and a really lovely and cosy place to use as a base for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend - especially if you have pets!

Wonderful place to stay. Beautiful little cottage, amazing grounds to walk around - kids loved the zip wire. House is really well thought out - especially for kids. Hazel was a fantastic host.

We were absolutely delighted with our stay at Hampden Lodge, such a cosy and private space to stay over new year. Well equipped and some fantastic surroundings to walk! Pam was an outstanding host, and helped with the questions we had throughout our stay very promptly. She even left a NYE hamper for us, thanks so much Pam!

The cottage was very lovely and cosy, we felt at home! It was very tidy and clean. The garden is also lovely and has a nice view on the fields and horse. Ann and Bob are very friendly and interested in their guests, but respected our privacy as well. They also gave usefull information about things to do, where to park etc. We would recommend this cottage! The low ceilings might be a bit of a challenge to taller people, nevertheless they also contribute to it's charm. We had a lovely week!

My stay at the cottage has been excellent! Rachel is an extremely responsive and kind host and ensured I had everything I needed for my stay, even bringing complimentary groceries on the first day just to ensure I was fully set up with everything I might need. She’s gone above and beyond and I would have no hesitation in staying here again. The place is very peaceful and secure, so very relaxing. I had lost faith in Air B and B after a few bad experiences but Victorias cottage was perfect. Clean, tidy and well equipped. Perfect for what we needed.
