Vacation rentals with lake access in Chicago Loop

Really enjoyed Steven’s place! It was comfortable and spacious, and had everything we needed. Great location that’s not far from Chicago, and lots of shops and restaurants just blocks away. Cute little neighborhood and small town feel. Steven was easy to work with and really responsive. Would love to stay again when we’re in the area!

This stay was nothing short of amazing. A great, clean, and updated apartment in a great neighborhood. The host was very responsive, gave recommendations, and answered all questions quickly. We would definitely stay again and would recommend to anyone looking for a great stay in Wrigleyville.

I arrived later than planned and Cinda greeted me warmly and with offers to help. The apartment is lovely. It looks just like the pictures but the finishing touches include nespresso cups, fresh pressed orange juice and lots of tea to get your morning started. Cinda knew I was in town for a conference and then worked the next day from her space. She was just the right kind of host. She let me know she was there if I needed anything and made offers to help but also left me plenty of space to come and go. I was traveling solo but I think a couple would be quite comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Kaye was a great host! apartment was as advertised, bonus that she had coffee pods, bottled water and some snacks. we were in town to visit Loyola, which was an easy walk. convenient to train, as well. street parking is tricky if you come in late, but that is typical for the neighborhood. would definitely stay here again!

We had a great stay at Mark & Marcelo's place. Even though the house, which is beautiful by the way, is on the corner of two busy streets, it is very quiet and we all slept great. The interior of the house is very tastefully done and so comfortable. We are three couples and we had plenty of room. The one full bath was not an issue and there was plenty of hot water. The kitchen is well stocked and all instructions from Mark & Marcelo were very clear. They even changed our check-in/check-out times to better fit our schedule. The parking space was so convenient and if you have a second vehicle, street parking is generally not an issue but we did have to drive around a bit when we came home after 10:30pm. I highly recommend Mark & Marcelo's place for a short or long stay!

Great location if visiting the Casino. Marlen was easy to deal with and had great check in instructions. Would stay here again if in the area.

The best thing about this unit is the location - with a close up view of the beach from the living room and kitchen. That did not disappoint. Our flight was delayed five times, so we arrived late. The instructions for the heating panels could be better. It was freezing when we arrived and we could not figure out how to turn on all of the heaters. We got a quick response the next day to turn up the thermostat, but we were looking for wall thermostats. We have electric panels in our home, but I haven't seen wall switches before and we did not notice the remotes on top of the units at night. We bundled up and went to bed, and were able to figure it out the next day. That would be an easy fix to explain that some more. For us, the location was perfect because it was very close to where our new grandbaby lives! But the wonderful view of the lake made it great. It would be even better in the summer.

This delightful two-bedroom apartment includes a modern, updated kitchen, beautiful antique furniture in exceptional condition, and many lovely hand-made artifacts. The heating system kept the apartment warm despite the outdoor temp or 16F w 8F wind chill. The two-block walk to Oakton St, the main street in downtown Skokie is in a safe, residential neighborhood--very quiet. The CTA yellow line is not even a half-mile walk--so easy public transportation to downtown Chicago. Apartment includes assigned off-street parking. Hosts were responsive and helpful. We accidentally left a phone charger in the apartment which the hosts recovered and coordinated a pickup by a local relative. Definitely recommend for travelers visiting folks living close to downtown Skokie!
