Vacation rentals with beach access in Chicago Loop

Second time staying in this Host’s properties. Good location, relatively new building and amenities, clean / complete / function apartment. Building gym is a welcome addition. Tibo responds to messages immediately and keeps the places spotless. Will consider staying again, next time we are in Chicago.

I booked this place for my son who grew up in the Chicagoland area, so we are very familiar with both the location and what it offers. Everything from the proximity to great restaurants, public transportation, and ease of accessing museums and Lakeshore to the general ambiance and safety of the area was perfect.

Had a great 2 night stay in this cozy apartment while my daughter and I visited colleges in the area. Nancy went above and beyond, from an early checkin, to helpful amenities in the space, like snacks/water/etc. The area is nice, with walkable restaurants, and we always found parking, even though parking spots seemed to be in high demand. The L is pretty close, and you can hear it, but it didn't interfere with enjoying the space, or sleep, for either of us.

We had such a great time at Terri’s place. She was very easy to work with and the apartment was perfect.

Dorothy was lovely and my stay at her place was exactly what I needed. The apartment is clean and well appointed. Location is great - walkable to Rivendale Theatre and lots of restaurants. Would definitely stay with Dorothy again if my travels take me back to this part of Chicago.

We arrived late, close to midnight, and Caryl was an absolute sweetheart—she left us snacks and cereal for breakfast, which was a thoughtful touch. Communication was always easy as she was available both through Airbnb and a local number, making things super convenient. The house itself was beautiful and immediately felt like home. We enjoyed dining out in the backyard and even had the chance to have a BBQ with the grill provided. One of the highlights was that Caryl brought us freshly ground coffee, which was a great treat to start our mornings with. The house was spotless, and the mattresses were incredibly comfortable, especially for someone like me who tends to have back issues with bad mattresses. These were perfect! As expected with an older house, the floors did creak a bit, but it wasn’t an issue for us. If that's not something that would bother you, this place is just perfect! Caryl was truly an outstanding host, and I would definitely recommend staying here!

This home is in a quiet neighborhood. It is close to a Target awesome. Easily walkable to Andersonville and Clark St. for many restaurants and shops. The home itself was spacious, beautiful, and very clean. Junni was responsive to our inquiries.

Was a great trip. The house was as the pictures appeared. We ran into some difficulty with the door lock one day and Matt went above and beyond to fix things and was really gracious about it. The El is super close but was not an issue at all-amazingly we never really heard it. Can’t wait to come back!

This one of the best Airbnb I have been. The photos don’t do justice to how beautiful and organized this property is. It’s super clean and organized. The aesthetics in the interior are superb and every floor is a work of art.

This was a fabulous house and location! Well maintained, fully stocked with kitchenware, and higher end appliances. Great location, walking distance to lots of great food and attractions. Very safe neighborhood. There were a lot of stairs, but we took several younger family members and my husband and I (being older) took the lower level, and the younger guests loved the accommodations. Overall our stay was really nice! We had everything we needed for a pleasant visit. There were even some extra shampoo bottles, snacks, and other things left that ended up being useful to have. Simple, no frills, but everything was very tidy and comfortable. Quite close to a few grocery stores and other conveniences, as well as UChicago, which was perfect for us. One thing to keep in mind is the beds are a bit close to the doors, so be careful to not get it in the shin walking in at night! Luke was helpful and proactive with clear instructions. We had gone by then, but my in laws got to see the bee farm on the roof with Luke before checking out, and they really enjoyed that. A great place all around to stay that’s safe and comfortable!

Perfect for our weekend away and with our three kids. Easy access to the train and bus. Lovely walk to the beach. Apartment was exactly like the pictures and met all our needs.

Georgie’s apartment looks and feels exactly like the pictures. Great location in a residential neighborhood but close to everything downtown Chicago has to offer. Overlooking a nice park adds a nice touch of greenery to the city view. Georgie is extremely responsive.

Jeremiah and Maysa's place is comfortable and well-located for accessibility to Chicago! There is plentybof space, a clean environment, a fun location...and great and appreciated (by me!) safe and roomy parking space. Communication was great! It was lovely to look out of big windows, at a lovely street and lovely trees. It was great to have a washer and dryer. Very clean, to boot!!! A great (!!) international Market right on the corner..a well as walkable coffee shops!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming Airbnb, and I can't say enough good things about it! From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by how beautifully decorated the space is. Every corner is thoughtfully designed, making it feel both cozy and stylish. The host was incredibly responsive and quick to answer any questions I had, which made my stay even more enjoyable. It’s always nice to know that help is just a message away! The location is fantastic—perfectly situated to explore the local sights and hidden gems. I loved being able to step out and find great restaurants and shops within walking distance. One of my favorite features was the record player! It added a nostalgic touch to my mornings and evenings, allowing me to unwind with some great tunes. And let’s not forget about the shower—it was absolutely breathtaking! It felt like a spa experience every time I stepped in. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded my expectations, and I can’t wait to return! Five Stars!

Spent a few nights with my family in Chicago and Dan's place was the perfect spot. It's right in the heart of the exclusive picturesque Lincoln Park neighborhood and short walking distance to the park, boutiques, high-end retailers, cafes, restaurants, etc. Can't ask for a better location. The apartment was spacious and had all the basic amenities for a comfortable stay. The entire experience at Dan's place went really smoothly thanks to his quick responses to questions and offering simple straight-forward guidelines.

Ari was a great host. The place is in a cute neighborhood that has many of the things you should need and want. It has all you need for a short or long term stay. The property is on the older side, but that is a product of being in Chicago.

Yvonne's place really saved the day for us! The heat in our Chicago apartment died in the middle of a cold snap, and we were able to book Yvonne's airbnb on short notice. It was cozy, spacious, clean, and pet-friendly with easy parking. She even let us check in a tad early, since we were stranded! Huge thanks to Yvonne, and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a cozy home base in Evanston.
