Without a doubt, this was a really nice place to stay. I truly enJoyed being there. The hosts were extremely kind and considerate, going out of their way on more than one occasion to be sure that everything was copasetic with me. For example, I had a pleasant surprise when they had arranged a lounge chair and a table on the upstairs balcony so that I could enJoy nature while doing my computer work and reading. I really appreciated their going that extra mile, so to speak, to be sure that I was getting the most out of their place. All was in order: the place was clearly arranged with care and concern for the comfort of guests: all the listed amenities from the listing were present and functioning just fine, and, indeed, the photos represented the home as it is, clean and comfortable. Without hesitation I offer Mud Castle my highest recommendation for a rewarding and memorable sojourn in a pleasant part of nearby Thrissur. I would be pleased to stay there again on another occasion.

Perfect getaway place from our busy life. Calm and peaceful surrounding with beach on a walkable distance. Neat and clean stay as described and friendly behaviour from the owner. He was very flexible on our check in and out timing. Will be definitely visiting back for a longer stay next time.

We really loved the stay here, it was very peaceful and nice. The house was squeaky clean and they were thoughtful to provide a few extra amenities which made our stay with kids easier. The Caretaker was polite and helpful.

This was our best experience of staying in a farmhouse. This is in true sense a farmhouse, with banana plantation, dairy farming and fish pond. We had an unforgettable memory of walking around the entire farm area of this property. Relaxing in the courtyard under moonlight with noiseless surrounding was a unique experience we would never get anywhere else. Though the amenities within the house were not as per our expectation, our loss was compensated by absolute privacy and natural beauty around this farmhouse. Due to this, we would like to visit this place again and again.
