Monthly Rentals in Chemin Grenier

The place in Mauritius from Frédéric is great. In the apartment you will find everything necessary. The kitchen is super equipped. You have a lot of space. The property is cleaned about 2x/week. The lady is very nice. The property is located in a small village where it can get a little louder in the evening. Nevertheless, the residents are super friendly and helpful. From the property, takeaway stalls are within walking distance, the nearest supermarket can be reached in 7 minutes by car. We were able to make numerous excursions from the property (national park, hike to Le Morne Brabant, etc.). The communication with Frédéric went smoothly. Even before arrival, he gave us a lot of helpful information and advice. Check in and check out via his uncle was very friendly and nice. We were also helped with a small incident (empty gas bottle) within a few hours. Gladly again - a lot :)

A little corner of paradise especially if you want to avoid the touristic side of the island. The hosts were super nice and were careful about our every need. The place is very close to the sea, to groceries stores and a few touristic sites (La route du thé, Balck River natural park, etc.) The kitchen equipment needs a bit of improvements and new pieces but otherwise, it was a great price-quality ratio and we were super happy.

We particularly liked Kamlesh's accommodation. Due to the direct location on the very little visited but still very nice beach and quiet surroundings, we were able to enjoy our stay very much. The surroundings of Le Morne , swimming beaches and the national park are easily accessible in less than 30 minutes by car. Only a few apartments were rented in the complex and we almost always had the pool to ourselves. Kamlesh is a great host who communicates super nice and proactively. In case of a small technical problem, he solved everything perfectly and incredibly quickly. The apartment was clean , the facility well maintained. Even though the complex is no longer completely new, it makes it far away due to its special charm. It is a holiday away from the hotels in an authentic place where you can get to know Mauritius from its real side. We fully recommend the place.
