House vacation rentals in Chautauqua Lake

We had the best vacation with wonderful memories. The most important part of our vacation was having a place to enjoy with our older dog who loves to swim. This may be our last summer with him and coming to Higbys was the best decision. They directed us immediately to the swimming area for him and it was perfect. Everyone was so friendly and went out of their way. Thank you for one of the best vacations. The memories will last a lifetime!

Our stay was wonderful! Great place for both adults and kids. Patti’s descriptions were extremely accurate. So many games and activities to do right at the home. One of the cleanest Airbnbs I have seen too!

Perfect for what we were looking for. Very convenient ski in/out right off the slopes. Very responsive host and very clean.

We planed a LAST moment trip with our family. We had a group of 4 adults and 4 kids of multiple ages and we ALL had an amazing time and comfortable stay. We love Bemus point as a location and went and enjoyed walks around town and the sunset. Debbie was an absolute pleasure and a very gracious host. We loved her dog as well and will definitely book here again.

Our long awaited family reunion of 8 adults and 1 dog LOVED staying in the Plum Bush house. The house is BEAUTIFUL and spacious, the beds comfy, the water hot and the sunporch was the coziest place to gather for conversation and enjoy the welcome snacks and beverages. The pool water was a balmy 88 degrees and the grounds were a great place to hike, have a camp fire or play a game of corn hole. Mary and Bert were nearby to answer any questions and made us feel at home. We would love to stay there again!

Michelle was very kind! Her empathy came to the forefront when she allowed us to keep one of our cars parked in the driveway for a few days after check out due to an emergency. If you'd like a quiet getaway with family, this is perfect! We also took a 45-minute car ride to Allegheny National Forest and spent several hours hiking. You can walk to the lake, and the public beach access is only a 15-minute drive (it has a very scenic view). Highly recommend!

Beautiful cozy home. My kids had a blast with the toys. Beautiful kitchen and great indoor lighting. Cute playground out back that my kids loved. Joelle was kind and responsive. Would definitely stay here again!!

The house was very spacious and had 3 really nice bathrooms. Common areas had a lot of space and we never felt like we were tripping over each other. Perfect place for quality family time and enjoying the beauty of the lake!

Cute quaint little cottage… beautiful location

I stayed here with my girlfriend and daughter for 2 days. It was perfect for us, we used the big backyard to our advantage. Played cornhole, daughter had fun on the play set, and had a nice fire one night. The inside was absolutely spotless, and well taken care of. There was a binder to explain everything about the house, food nearby, and check in/check out help. Thanks Alan we had a blast!

I have stayed here before & will absolutely stay here again whenever I’m in town! Perfect location, great quiet neighborhood, the house is cute & cozy. David & Katie are awesome hosts, I would recommend them to anyone staying in the area!

This was our second time staying at Claire's House in Bemus Point, NY. There are eight in our party with a dog. All the instructions and communications were clear and helpful. The layout of the house is great for our group. We can spread out in different rooms on the first floor and the bedrooms and baths are spacious, clean and nicely decorated. We are hoping to schedule soon for Thanksgiving 2025, Two families are from the Berkshires in Western MA and one from Indianapolis. Claire' s home is conveniently in the middle. Bemus Point is very walkable. Bustling in the summer and quiet in winter. There are several places to eat even in winter. No driving necessary.

Great place and even while staying in winter, I can see this place being great for the summer months as well. Super peaceful and private. Jane communicated great and very responsive. We weren’t expecting to have the driveway clearing from all the snow that fell, but they did and it was so nice.

Tree’s house was exactly what we needed for our group of 8. Lots of communal space to spend time eating and hanging out together along with perfectly decorated private bedrooms for some much needed rest. David was easy to communicate with and very friendly. This charming home is squeaky clean and impressively tidy and organized. You will not be disappointed.

We loved everything that The Manor at Bear Ridge had to offer! It was perfect for our large group of families with teens for a getaway weekend. The large living room/ kitchen area had plenty of space for all of us to gather and enjoy games, pool table, and tv. Right across the street from Compass Bar and Grille and Peek and Peak for skiing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!

Chandra’s place was very clean and comfortable. We inquired about a fire pit and she was kind enough to get it ready, so all we had to do was light it. There is still landscaping work being done, but it did not affect how much we enjoyed our stay. Looking forward to seeing it again once it’s completed!

Was very happy with how responsive and accommodating the host was. She and her co-host provided us with some extra baby related items like a high chair and portable crib, when these where not in the description. The hose was very clean and nicly renovated. Just be careful wit the hot water, it gets very hot!

Aimee and Steve are great hosts. They are very responsive to every question. Easy check in and checkout process. The house is clean had everything we needed. We stayed here for snowmobiling. This house is a great location for that. It is just off a main trail. You can ride right from the yard to the trail. We had our dogs with us. There was 2 ft. of snow on the ground and the owners shoveled a path to the fenced portion of the yard and also shoveled an area for the dogs inside the fence. Plenty of space for relaxing after a long day of riding. We will be back again!

We stayed with our 4 children at Patty's place - perfect spot just a few miles drive from Bemus Point where we access the lake. Patty was a friendly responsive host and the homemade blueberry muffins she left for us were top notch, as well as other breakfast foods. The home and furniture is significantly dated (as listing shows) but the price reflects that and it's a great option for less money then most. Also note the beds are quite firm and if you have young children, there's a good amount of decor/knick knacks in the house to be mindful of. Overall we loved it - the house is clean and comfortable and Patty is an amazing host!

We had a wonderful time! The home was so beautiful and clean. We felt very at home. Jessica even left us snacks and waters! The coffee bar was stocked as well. She really went above and beyond to make us feel at home. Everything was clean and fresh. The location was great as we were able to walk to dinner. We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!!

The Country Cottage was great. Peaceful, quiet and clean. Kitchen was well equipped to handle all my cooking needs with pots, pans, utensils and nice appliances. Living space, bedrooms and bathrooms were all clean and spacious enough I felt at home. Will definitely be looking to book this place again and will recommend to others.
