Cabin vacation rentals in Chautauqua Lake

We found this place to be perfect for a girls’ weekend in the woods! Very close to Lily Dale, which was our primary attraction. We all were sad to leave because we loved our little cabins!

As in other reviews be prepared for sulfur water. The sulfur smell is horid. However, i believe the owner has done everything he can to try to elevate it. Filters work well but they need constant flow or they can be bad instead of good. I developed rash from it. I read reviews and knew about it well in advance. The place is very comfortable and quiet location. If you listen carefully you can hear the click clock of amish on the roads. The electric heaters heat the property astonishingly well. This week we had nearly 30 inches of snow. We were sick of the snow for sure. Plenty of grocery stores and shopping nearby. Restaurants as well. Beds feel hard at first but slept like baby. No stains on sheets etc as others pointed out. Over all enjoyed our stay. IF YOUR SKIN IS SENSITIVE TO SULFUR NOT THE PLACE FOR YOU. UNTIL A PERMANENT SOLUTION IS FOUND FOR THE ISSUE. We will probably rebook in 25.

It was quiet and peaceful with a beautiful view. It was what we were looking for for a short getaway. 10/10 would recommend it to a friend and would stay again

I absolutely loved staying at this cabin! It looks just like the photos. Super clean, cozy, warm, and has everything you need for a weekend getaway. The hot tub was perfect. I cant wait to come back!

Cynthia's home provided amazing views and beautiful sunsets. Our family vacation was memorable because of all the spaces indoors and outdoors that enabled us to appreciate the lake and natural surroundings. Cynthia was responsive to all of the little questions that popped up and we got to take advantage of so many restaurants and fun activities on Lake Erie and Lake Chautauqua. Our family of ten would stay again in a heartbeat!

We enjoyed staying at David’s place very much. The house was dated but clean. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed to cook for a big family. We enjoyed the game room very much. The pellet fireplace was a nice touch to make the room warm and cozy. Location was great as it was only 9 minutes drive to Ellicottville and 11 minutes to Holiday Valley. David was quick to respond to any problems. Would definitely recommend.

We loved the place. Very open and spacious place with lots of room for gathering. Wonderful hot tub. Close to slopes. Great time.

We had a great stay at the cabin. It was a cold, icy weekend and we didn’t mind being stuck inside. Seth and Chelsea went out of their way to make our arrival easy and comfortable. We had everything we needed. We will visit again!

My children and I booked this air bnb for this past weekend. There was a winter storm going on, and they plowed the driveway for us before we came and before we left. We brought our dog and the plowing made it easier for him to go out and run around a bit. There is a wood burner and a heater which were both super helpful with keeping warm. We had an amazing stay, and will definitely be going back in summer! If your looking for a little get away in the country not surrounded by noise and movement, this is the place to go! And right near tons of snow mobile trails! We are excited to visit again in summer!

Loved our little getaway for the night. The sunset would have been amazing if it wasn’t cloudy- but it was still pretty. The beach access was a nice feature… we enjoyed the privacy of the beach and just hanging out at the Adirondack chairs they had set up by the cabin.

The place was exactly what I was hoping for in a log cabin. The host was helpful and proactive. The view of the lake inside of the house was perfect.

This was a last minute booking when our winter cabin reservation had to cancel. It turned out great! Beautiful, comfortable, very well stocked log home that had everything we needed and more! Pond was skateable at edge and the hill next to the house was perfect for sledding. Our grandkids had a ball! Dianna quickly responded to all our inquiries and they even made it possible to get a campfire started . Thank you!

We had a great ski vacation. House was comfortable with plenty of space. Fireplace and hot tub were great for a winter getaway.

Our rooms were very clean and the bed was comfortable. The room heated up very quickly after we turned the wall heater on. Good heat from the shower after a few minutes. The staff is very friendly too! Great view off the Lake.

Enjoyed our stay and loved the private location. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. We stayed during a snow storm and they did a great job of keeping the lane plowed and even shoveled the side walk for us. It was plenty warm enough but I would recommend bringing sleeping bags if you expect temperatures below 20F if you are sleeping in the bunk beds because this is a real log cabin and you can feel the cold coming in through the wall between when the heat kicks on. There's lots of good restaurants nearby in Bradford PA just 4 miles away. It wasn't a bad drive to holiday valley skiing, about 20 minutes. I will probably stay there again.

Great little place for a weekend getaway. Cabin had everything you’d need, in a nice peaceful, remote location. Would recommend especially for a quick ski trip!

The many simple touches of the season throughout the area & cabin ! Made you feel like you were home .Everything you need is there. Our furkids really enjoyed relaxing, sniffing, exploring the surroundings. Absolutely peaceful country setting. They have it all , every detail covered and more. Plus it's located in the center of many attractions. What a great mini vacation! Celebrating our Anniversary and NewYears 2024 in one. We will return in the summer. Thank you Leigh & Matt

The Fisherman’s Cottage was a great getaway for me & my family. The cottage was really nice. It looked small from the outside, but was spacious inside. The beautiful view of frozen Lake Erie will be a sight I will always remember. I wanted to do something different this year for my birthday weekend, & this will be so memorable. I’m so happy that I decided to come to the cottage. I would highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a relaxing getaway. Thank you Julie for hosting us.

The cabin is beautiful and off the grid. Made me feel like I was staying at my family’s cabin when I was a kid. Very peaceful and great to sit back and relax. House is very clean and has beautiful surroundings.

Really enjoyed our stay. Cabin was beautiful, even nicer than the pictures. Kids loved the lofts and little “play room”. Everything was clean and comfortable. Host was really great to communicate with. Already planning a visit back!!

With a cozy, warm wood stove, silent winter woods, and an easy drive into town, we really enjoyed this cabin. Definitely considering returning to experience it in another season.

Such a lovely spot !! Held some broke college kids for a great price that let us have a great skiing experience at holiday valley nearby. So nice to see reasonable pricing! Thank you Debra :)
