We are 5 min from major shopping and restaurants, and 10 min to the Brawley School St area. This home is beautifully designed and recently renovated with high end finishes and multiple indoor and outdoor entertaining areas. We just got back from staying on Peter’s house boat for my son’s 11th birthday. On the way home he said “Can we just do this again for ALL my birthdays?!?” And of course he would feel that way because he got to “captain” a boat that took us out to swim in the lake, watch a purple sunset on the roof and play his favorite board games listening to the sound of the water. It was absolutely perfect! The house is just as pictured with anything you need (even expresso for the parents;) and the roof can’t be done justice in pictures. Peter was a patient, kind host who was excellent with the kiddos even showing them how to steer the boat etc. Can’t recommend this highly enough you must experience it for yourself!

Where to begin this place was great!! Exactly as described and photos were spot on. Enjoyed watching the lake from the comfy sitting chairs and having morning coffee. This place was wheelchair accessible as I’m my mothers caregiver this allowed her to travel with us. There is neighbors but it felt so secluded. My husband and son caught some nice fish from the dock. New recently added hot tub was a great bonus. Tessa was very responsive to my messages. Will definitely be returning.

The house was absolutely amazing. The dock was so nice to sit on after a long day of work. We had a resident blue herring that would greet us every morning and every evening. It was private and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with spices, pots and pans, and bakeware. It was so easy to prepare a meal. I would recommend this house to anyone who needs to get away and feel at home.

I cannot say enough positive things about this home. It was spacious, clean, and had all of the conveniences. We spent every afternoon sitting out on the beautiful lawn and kayaking around the lake. The home came with all of the conveniences, and it was in a beautiful and super-convenient location. (We could get to restaurants and stores in less than 10 minutes, and our drive into Charlotte was only a half-hour). The property manager was also extremely responsive! E.g., when the outside bulb burned out, it was quickly replaced. We had two worries before arriving, and neither was an issue at all: (a) We were a little worried about staying on the first floor of someone else's home, but we couldn't even tell when the owners were home; and (b) We were a little worried that a first-floor apartment wouldn't be bright and sunny, but we couldn't have been more wrong. The home had huge windows and was bright and spacious. We would absolutely come back.

We always use AirBnB because its easier and safer for our 2 sons with autism. We've stayed at some wonderful properties through the years. This was by far the best and worth every penny. The location on the water is beautiful and well laid out. The house is clean and clutter free and thoughtfully decorated. We enjoyed using the paddleboards and kayaks. They even provided life jackets in various sizes. The complimentary snacks were great. Everyone enjoyed our mini vacation. Thank you we hope to visit again soon.

We stayed for Easter weekend. When Jeff came by to check on something for us (he's very responsive) he came with an adorable cupcake cake for our girls. It was already a great stay, but that (pun intended) took the cake. My husband stated that we will for sure stay here when we come down h next time

I have used James many times now to lodge employees from Minnesota while attending training in the Charlotte area. All aspects of our interactions have been EXCELLENT! My employees request to stay there versus a hotel. The amenities, cleanliness, location, and peacefulness of the lake far out weigh anything a local hotel can offer. He's always the first place we look to book. 100% recommended.

We very much enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend this home! It is clean, beautiful and has everything you could possibly need. Tammy was wonderful to communicate with and was so thoughtful with leaving us her homemade cinnamon raisin sourdough bread which was delicious. She also even left a basket of Easter eggs filled with treats as our stay was the week of Easter! Definitely one of the best Air bnb properties we have ever stayed in and hope to return one day!
