Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Charlestown

This was a fabulous destination! We were looking for a big place to have a special anniversary party weekend with extended family, and this house had everything we needed. Plenty of bedrooms upstairs and first floor, many common gathering areas, large kitchen and dining room tables, and lots of Space. (And this doesn't even include the explorable property outside.) The dozens of photos in the listing were very helpful, as well as the detailed descriptions. We had specific needs for elderly relatives with disabilities, and owner Lynne was so responsive in her replies to my many messages with varied questions. Truly, Lynne, you deserve a gold star from Airbnb for promptness and offering up ways and help that made our stay both easier and fulfilling.

We stayed at this rental for the week of our honey moon. The second we pulled into the drive way the house exceeded any expectations we had. The house was super clean, comfortable, left stocked with things for the beach, pack and play, everything you could ever need- they thought of it. The host was super responsive and helpful with everything. We can’t wait until next summer to rent again! But this time for sure longer! We had a great week- easy walk to beach and shops. Anne was very responsive to our questions - kitchen was well equiped- safe house for a toddler- small yard but playground close by (walking distance)

This home is gorgeous and filled with timeless artifacts and family heirlooms. Beautiful spots to sit outside with a morning coffee. My partner and I made a point of staying in and cooking one night because we felt right at home and wanted to appreciate the ambiance. We enjoyed the privacy and proximity to Newport very much as well. Well outside any potential chaos of downtown yet only a couple minute drive to Easton Beach. Thank you so much!

I was very happy with our stay. The pictures represented the house well but I got an even better feeling when we got inside. It was a great location for us. We went to my son's graduation at URI. Though it was around 30 minutes away we got there easily. There is a Dunkin Donuts and Honey Dew right around the corner so though Kelly had the house well stocked with coffee and dishware, we were able to grab some food items from there. We celebrated the graduation with dinner at Vetranos. Before leaving we took a nice ride by the water and beaches. If we were going for a summer vacation would consider staying there also. The house was charming and comfortable for myself, husband, parents and 3 adult sons. I would have enjoyed staying an extra day. Also Kelly and husband were very gracious to allow us to snack on a few items that they left in the fridge. I wish I had had the time to leave something for them. We had a great stay at Stan's house. The house itself was lovely, the backyard was great, and the beds were very comfortable. It was very kid friendly and had toys and books that my toddler enjoyed. the location was great and we loved being walking distance to the seaport and downtown. We also appreciated the snacks waiting at the Airbnb after a long travel day. Would be happy to stay again in future!

Very nice location and beautiful view of the ocean. The house was incredible and I would go back again.

We really enjoyed our stay. there was 10 of us and everyone had enough space. the house is very well kept and yard was great for my dog. Diane was helpful with suggestions and recommendations. From the beginning of my booking Adam provided a real friendliness to ensure we had a great visit. Went the extra mile to help with getting situated with a 2 year old...and I would recommend this place to ANYone. It was perfect beach vibe with an amazing pool, great bikes/chairs/etc for enjoyment...and it's a 5 min walk to town (for the true Montauk experience). Loved it and thank you Adam!!!

Beautiful home, very clean, spacious and comfortable to stay with the family. We used the grill on multiple occasions and it was easy to use. The fire pitt was also enjoyable. The kitchen was well stocked, would bring own source of caffeine if you’re picky with your coffee though. Stephen, the host was very responsive and easy to reach when asked questions. The one thing I would recommend is to check in with the host if the pool is available to use prior to booking. Overall a great experience, would stay with them again.

We had an excellent stay while attending our son's graduation at UCONN. The place was clean and homey, perfect when traveling back and forth. Our plans changed and we did not bring our dog, and Ashley was kind enough to refund us. My son goes back to UConn in the fall for his master's, and we know where we will stay again next May.

We absolutely loved our stay at Milton & Megan's Montauk house! It was perfect for a group of 4 (2 couples) there for a 4 day trip. The house is very quiet & peaceful, with lots of outdoor space, but also very walkable to town. The house was super clean, and everything was very easy to find. The bedrooms had lots of closet space, the TV was easy to set up, and all the amenities listed on the website were accurate. We'd love to come back again and stay. Thanks!

This country getaway is an absolute gem! Just 20 minutes outside of Providence, this luxury escape offers the perfect mix of peace and charm. The home is stunning—boasting beautiful high ceilings, an incredibly spacious layout, and a beautiful kitchen that made it a pleasure to cook in. The outdoor space is a dream. The pool is serene and refreshing, and being surrounded by horses and cows added such a unique, calming touch to the stay. The entire property is quiet and relaxing, ideal for a weekend recharge or longer escape. Cristyn was a thoughtful and responsive host, making our stay smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a peaceful, luxurious countryside experience near the city!

A beautiful house to always spend time with important people.

Lots of space to hang out. Beautifully remodeled. Loved the bits and pieces in the pantry. Had regular coffee pot as well as keurig. Well stocked kitchen to make our big breakfasts.

Kyle & Cindy were great hosts! Both communicated clearly about check-in even allowing an early check-in since we were coming from different locations with different arrival times. It was wonderful being able to spend quality time with my family.

Don’s place is amazing! The location is prime, less than 10 walk to the most beautiful beach with wonderful pavilion. Morning sunrise walk to the beach and sunset walk to the beach was just incredible! The deck was very peaceful and relaxing for my husband and me and our favorite furry child to hang out and enjoy the marsh ponds. Walking distance to great restaurants. As a runner, it was a beautiful place to run and loved that it was dog friendly. Don was extremely communicative and offered an early check in and late check out, which was so appreciative. We will definitely be returning. Highly recommend!

This place was perfect. So much to do locally and mystic is just a few miles away. would definitely stay again. GREAT HOST

Kristen was absolutely an amazing host. Made you feel right at home and super communicative and inclusive. She provided a welcome basket that had great things that you will probably need on your travel. The location is Excellent centrally located between the University, Narragansett, and Newport. I highly recommend staying at Kristen‘s place if you’re looking for a peaceful & private Rhode Island adventure/retreat. We look forward to coming back and staying here!

Will definitely stay again if available for our next trip. My friend thought it was the cleanest place we’ve rented…and we’ve been booking Airbnb’s in Westerly since 2019. Beds were very comfy and there was plenty of space for the 3 of us. It was also a great benefit to have a breakfast voucher, as our girls weekend always includes breakfast before we hit the road. Questions were addressed within minutes and checkout time was reasonable.

This place was perfect for what I needed. It was cozy, comfortable, clean, simply and beautifully decorated, and well equipped. It was also a wonderful setting with great views in all directions. While the houses are quite close together, it is a quiet neighborhood and it helped that it wasn't high season. Lots to explore nearby and just as tempting to sit on the deck or lie in the hammock watching the world go by. This was more than I had initially planned to spend, and I'm so glad I went ahead with it anyway - very grateful for this spot!

We had a great stay! Clean and comfortable space for 6 of us for a weekend! The barn door on the half bath upstairs leaves a bit to be desired though privacy wise haha

The house was very comfortable and clean. The view was very beautiful! There’s a large beautiful deck with comfortable furniture. The house has a certain ambiance to it, and the history of it must be interesting.

We had a wonderful stay! Linda was a fantastic host! The in- law suite was just as it was described. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the appliance and dishes we needed. Plenty of towels and fresh linens. Linda gave us great directions for easy access to ninegrat pond and blue shutter beach. We have family in the area so we are often in need of lodging. I would definitely rent with Linda again. Thanks for being a super host Linda!
