Monthly Rentals in Certaldo

Carmine's place is just wonderful. The views are stunning and the atmosphere is so calming and peaceful. The house is well stocked with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bed is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. We were there in the beginning of March and it was a bit chilly the first day but Carmine had the fire going for us when we arrived which helped a lot. Overall we really loved our stay and would highly recommend for anyone visiting Tuscany.

Alessandra was a fantastic host, always quick to respond and super helpful. The apartment was spotless, well-equipped, and easy to access with her clear instructions. It’s in a great location, just a 5-minute walk from Certaldo train station where you can take a roughly 1 hour train ride to Florence or Pisa. The only improvement would be a washing machine, and note that the apartment is on the top floor with no lift, which might be challenging if you have heavy luggage or difficulty with lots of stairs. Wow!! What a privilege it was to stay in this beautiful former palace dating from the 1300s located in the wonderful medieval village of Certaldo. The accommodation has been renovated to a super high level, comfortable beds are made with lovely linen, it is extremely quiet yet bars and restaurants are just footsteps away, and the surrounding countryside is just stunning. And as if this place was not special enough there is the gold star hosting it comes with thanks to Elisabetta who is at hand for any help you might need organising your stay - she is such a lovely person and her help was invaluable! Amongst the many highlights of our trip were our family day out e-biking (such a good way to soak in the beauty of this corner of paradise), our meals at Ristorante l’Antica Fonte and the wonderful ice-creams at Ma Ke Gelato. With still so many things to do on our wish list we all really hope to be back before too long!
