Wildernest - Ty Twt

GabrielRating, 5 stars6 months ago
We spent a very happy few days in Hugh and Jude's beautiful cottage perfectly located for some wonderful walks along the Welsh coast. The space is very private, clean, thoughtfully arranged and warm. It has everything you need for a peaceful stay. Jude and Hugh are extremely friendly, knowledgable, warm and accommodating. We hope we will have the opportunity to return at some point.

Pembrokeshire Coast Workhouse @AlbroCastle

KateRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
We’ve had a fantastic time at Albro House. The house is stunning and has real history and character to place- it’s quite special and located in a peaceful countryside. The cut flowers around the house is a lovely touch with beautiful views of the fields and river beyond. There is a beautiful courtyard and a lovely place to sit and enjoy the afternoon sun. Lots of space for our group of 12 and kids to run around and it was really well equipped for all our needs. Pete was also an excellent host and on hand should we need anything, which we didn’t really! Highly recommend a visit to nearby Poppit sands and Mwnt beach as well as the local chippy and Tuesday Market next to the abbey. Can’t wait to return!

Authentic traditional Welsh farm cottage c. 1700

EmmaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
My teenage daughter and I had the most lovely 4 days in the valley. Lucky with the weather but it wouldn’t have mattered if it had drizzled throughout. The cosy, quirky - just perfect cottage had everything we needed and more. Alice & Louise were on hand, door literally open, had we needed anything. The location was stunning, the quiet but for the dawn chorus & lambs in the day then owls in the night, was very welcome. Neither of us had slept so well in a very long time! Very comfy beds! Hot water on tap - really decent shower, with lovely organic toiletries supplied too. We’re already planning our return. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Aberdar Country Cottage and Cinema Cabin

CharlotteRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Gosh, what a beautiful place Aberdar is! Whilst it’s off the beaten track it offers the most superb views across the hills, and the garden and orchard areas are so peaceful to wile away the hours. The cottage was perfect too, everything you need for a relaxing break. The dogs had a brilliant time making our holiday even easier! Loved every second ❤️

Award- winning hideaway in the hills

AmandaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
The traffic was kind and we arrived at the farm on time (20:00), where Meryl met us instantly and guided us to Cae’r Beilli. On opening the door we were transported to a very cared for, high standard property. A beautiful home in the middle of lovely countryside. The bonus was watching the ewes with their young so close to the barn. Excellent facilities which made us feel at home. A lot of information given of the area, with fantastic views and plenty to do. Walks a plenty! Faultless! Will definitely return.

Romantic Tiny House, part of peaceful smallholding

CiaraRating, 5 stars1 week ago
I had a lovely relaxing stay at this air bnb. It was very cosy and clean. There was plently of equipment in the kitchen and didnt feel I was missing anything. Bed was super comfy and location is very sweet next to the lovely garden. The one thing I would say is the hob outside isn't the best choice for rainy Wales. I couldn't get the hob to stay lit because of the wind so had to contact the owners. They were obviously busy so took a while to get back to me but once they got home they were super helpful and moved the hob inside for me, which worked great.

Thank you Evan for a great family stay at your place. We all enjoyed the large rooms and small play area for the children. The hot tub was great.Thank you for the farm yard tour and the time you spent with all of us explaining about the animals and farming life.We all had great fun feeding the lambs and calfs.(well worth the money). This is a working farm and the staff are very friendly. The kids loved the farms working sheep dogs. The stay was amazing. The only hardship was the farm road leading up to the house from the main road.(not suited for cars with low ground clearance).but Evan is working on this.Great stay and fun time.

The Piggery, large garden - dog friendly

HannahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
We have just had the most lovely few days at Nicola’s place. Everything was perfect from start to finish, the accommodation was great for myself and my husband and our 18 month energetic Vizsla! The safe and secure garden was great to let him outside and also we were able to use the large field right next door for him to explore! Anything you would need for your stay is all there in the piggery and I’m sure if you required anything Nicola would happy to help! We had a food shop delivered and the kitchen was a good size to cook anything. Lovely bathroom with a brilliant shower! We travelled to the beach and also did a local forest walk, the location is brilliant as you are very close to local town Lampeter but also so so quiet and peaceful and AMAZING views out of every window!! We Couldn’t fault our stay and will absolutely be back in future. Thank you for having us Chris and Hannah

Quiet & Cosy Cardigan Garden Annexe - Near Coast

ClareRating, 5 stars4 days ago
The Garden Annexe was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for our stay. It was in a good location for visiting beaches in Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire. Karen had put together an information pack which gave recommendations of places to visit which was helpful. The milk, bread and breakfast items were much appreciated too.

KerstieRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Ohhh I can’t praise Rachel and Gary’s place enough! Stunning cottage! So peaceful! A real home from home, cosy and everything you could possibly need under one roof! Pristine and spotless! The kingsized bed is phenomenal!!!!!! We had the best sleep ever! Such a spacious place! Plenty of room to move around and read in! Garden is fabulous and the hot tub which we didn’t get to use this time as the weather was a bit drizzly our first night but we’ll definitely be back in warmer weather! Amazingly helpful and the information pack was brilliant! Easy, clear instructions. They thought of everything! Such attention to detail! Peaceful surroundings. We could hear owls at night and birds tweeting and sheep bleating in the daytime. The kitchen had everything you need, the shower is fantastic! The upper floor is so lovely and the sofa is super comfortable! What a place! We loved it! Our little Cavapoo Ted settled in right away too! We can’t wait to return! Fabulous place and fabulous hosts! :)

Romantic Historic Coastal Cottage - Fantastic Bed!

NickRating, 5 stars4 days ago
We had a lovely stay at Jane & Gary’s cottage. It’s in a beautiful part of the world and the cottage was extremely cosy and well equipped. It has that rustic old school charm along with all the modern touches it’s so nice to have. Fantastic hosts who gave us lots of privacy but were always on hand to help us if needed. I would highly recommended this as a place to stay for a couple. Lots to see and do. Also - fantastic bed and mattress. Very fussy sleeper here and I slept like a log on all 3 nights! Thanks!!

Yr Onnen

RiffinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
We had such a lovely and memorable stay! The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful — they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed, even providing us with extra washing tablets when we asked. One of the highlights was the tour of their beautiful farm. They took the time to walk us through it, and we were lucky enough to witness a sheep giving birth to triplets — such a special and unforgettable experience! The paddle boats were a fun bonus — we used them a few times and really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings. The whole place had such a calming and relaxing vibe, perfect for a quiet getaway. The house itself was very clean and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with genuinely lovely hosts and a touch of nature!
