10 stars! We were greeted by Count Waldburg, whose family has had this castle for 300 years. He was very friendly and welcoming and told us all about the history. We spent time in Bad Neustadt and thoroughly enjoyed the scenic driving and peaceful atmosphere. We would highly recommend this stay to others and would come back again if we are in the area. My ONLY advice—most local restaurants and cafés only take cash, so be sure to have some Euro on hand! Postbank ATM was a lifesaver for us, although Countess Waldburg even offered to exchange our American dollars for Euro to help us out.

Viktoria offers a great accommodation in a castle, everything was exactly as described and she was truly helpful and communicative! We really enjoyed the weekend in such a beautiful, cozy and relaxing place. Definitely recommend it!

Great castle stay. It was total vintage feel.

Daniela is the groundskeeper for Franz and she is a wonderful host. It's a beautiful house/castle with lots of room. the master bedroom is upstairs with a bathroom across the hallway. there are two rooms downstairs with a bathroom in between. Internet is sufficient for one person to do zoom video calls. WiFi signal in the bedrooms downstairs are a bit weak. But then whose working when you have such beautiful backyard (acres) to explore. Daniela and her daughter gave us the best tour of the castle. highly recommend this experience.

Dear Philipp, We felt very comfortable with you, from check-in to check-out it was a dream in this special place! You could see in every detail, both in terms of the interior and in terms of the incredibly refined garden design, how much professional work you put into the renovation of the substance, which is very admirable! I had a short but nice stay there. The Airbnb was neat, clean and as described. There's nothing to complain about for me. I'd love to come back if I have to go back to the area.

A very cool experience! The rooms were impeccable, shower and toilet were also completely sufficient. Frank is a great host and tells many great stories about the house! The nights were super quiet apart from some creaking floorboards, which makes sleeping buildings built in 1666 all the more authentic! We enjoyed the tranquility and nature in the courtyard very much and the dogs were in paradise. Lots to explore, both for people and four-legged friends! All in all: Again and again!

We felt completely comfortable in Vladi's house. Our later check-in was no problem and when we arrived, the fire even burned:) A car is an advantage when exploring the area and hiking areas.

The apartment is very nice, well maintained and spacious. The equipment of the apartment leaves nothing to be desired. The light-filled rooms invite you to linger. On the terrace you can enjoy the fantastic evening moods. The location of the apartment is perfect. On the one hand, it is nestled in beautiful nature in an absolutely quiet location, on the other hand you are very quickly on the Elbe and in the old town of Dresden. Chic apartment with everything you need. Very modern furnishings and clean. Check in was easy and flexible. A little off the beaten path, but grocery store and a pizzeria nearby. Great location in the castle.

Highly recommended for a small (or large) getaway to relax. There is delicious wine that you can buy via a trust fund. Very neat and clean shared kitchen, also the bathrooms very pleasant. We'll be back!

We very much enjoyed our stay in the castle. The unit was very spacious and full of charm—you could even climb the tower. The location could not have been better with a bakery, Italian restaurant and market just steps away.

Spent three nights here and was very happy with everything. The communication was also super accommodating in advance and the location is in the immediate vicinity of the Franconian Saale top. In one direction you are quickly in the middle of the spa town and in the other direction it quickly gets even quieter and more rural. The villa is very nice. You notice that you also live here, but you always have enough space and tranquility to yourself with the room and shared bathroom.

Staying with Susanne and Klaus was dreamy. The house, room and garden are idyllic. There are beautiful hiking trails nearby and delicious restaurants. The breakfast with the two is also highly recommended. Gladly come back.

I was looking for a place to stay very spontaneously and found it here. Extremely uncomplicated and friendly hosts. The house is great, as shown in the pictures, and the room was spacious and cozy. Definitely recommend!
