Very nice place to stay. Had everything we needed and the place was clean. Happy we stayed there.

Absolutely had the perfect weekend escape with this tranquil & secluded booking. Initially we passed the cabin up since it sits on a downward slope, but it made the location all the more private. Hot tub was the highlight of the trip, especially surrounded by the forest, light snowfall & overhang lights. The windows in the glass cabin were serene, fridge was small which I was aware of according to previous reviews but perfect enough for us as we only stayed Fri-Sun. Hosts were communicative & very helpful & prompt in response when we needed to communicate. Super convenient location considering it's just a 20min drive from Nevada City & Grassvalley. Quant vintage town with restaurants, small businesses & cafes. Highly recommend. If you're booking in winter months, 100% recommend bringing a TON of your own fire wood. The fireplace kept the cabin exceptionally warm & cozy. Would just suggest a smaller couch to replace the 2 chairs in the living space for more comfort.

I absolutely recommend Paul’s place! It was astonishingly peaceful and great forest views. The bathroom was clean and had a decent amount of toiletries , as well as kitchen for cooking. the bed frames do creak a bit but that’s normal I believe since they are made out of wood . But everything else was superb! He is a very attentive host and will even give you info on trails, for hiking, and lakes for fishing! Overall 9 out of 10 and would come back . Thanks Paul ☺️

We were so fortunate to have found Ben and Raquel's place. Nevada City holds a special place in our hearts and we visit often. Our usual love of Nevada City was truly taken to the next level staying at the Cascade Dream. There was so much love and attention to detail put into the execution of the space. The location is fantastic as it's tucked away from the main stretch of town but is close enough to feel like all of Broad street was accessible. It's also close to all our favorite hiking trails such as the Cascade Canal and the Independence. One of our biggest highlights was having gong-fu tea on the balcony several times throughout our stay. Ben and Raquel were extremely friendly and responsive to all our communication and we even had the chance to connect with Ben at Dakan--a new restaurant in Nevada City where he works as the Sous Chef. They both truly understand the art of hospitality. We hope to come back soon! Truly a gem on Airbnb.
