Vacation rentals in Carterton

The host graciously accepted a very last-minute 5-night booking and jumped on making arrangements for our stay. The property was very clean and tidy and exactly as described. Everything worked properly and the host provided detailed access and parking instructions that were invaluable. The Estate is very peaceful this time of year (December) and we had near-solo use of the Spa facilities and on site restaurant when we wanted them. As a dog-friendly property a secure/enclosed rear space would be welcome, but the private Estate no doubt has limitations that might make this hard. Bear this in mind if your dog tends to wander or head straight into the Thames! You’ll need to remember to keep them on a lead/line in the rear garden. Note that there’s plenty of off lead space next to the lake a couple of minutes walk away actoss the road. We re really enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, which was easier to use than expected, and we made use of the car charger - both are perfect additions.

Great place to stay for large groups. We had visited from New Zealand and were staying with UK family, it suited our needs perfectly.

We had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The place was incredibly cozy and truly felt like home. It had everything we needed, and the decor made it super inviting. The views outside were absolutely stunning such a beautiful and peaceful setting. We felt very safe and comfortable during our stay, and it was the perfect spot to relax with friends. We had so much fun and would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a memorable and enjoyable getaway!

A beautiful, spacious apartment - the photos don't do it justice. Everything you need, lovely bedroom, great hot shower! Lovely to hear the church bells gently strike the hours. Highly recommend.

Fabulous weekend away in a beautiful home. We have done family weekends away before but this has definitely been one of the best. What is at the property was genuinely not expected. The kitchen is completely kitted out and we loved the added touches such as leaving us milk, biscuits etc. it’s only something small but it was very much appreciated! Bedrooms are super spacious and the living area was great for us as a family of 8 plus a toddler! Not needing to pack the car with a cot and high chair was so welcomed! It really is a property that suits everyone. Hannah is so responsive and even put up the Xmas decorations early for us! Lovely host! Fabulous location, the recommendation for food is spot on. Somewhere else in Cirencester and the lakeside Brasserie for Sunday lunch was beautiful. The Xmas market in Cirencester was a massive highlight. A fabulous weekend for our mums 60th birthday! We will be back!

Great weekend, great location/scenery and great house. Gina was extremely helpful with everything going above and beyond. Super fast responses, great local restaurant recommendations and thoughtful suggestions such as asking if we needed a cot/high chair since we had an infant with us. Couldn’t recommend to book this place enough.

We stayed for 4 nights at Gemma Elizabeth’s house in Burton on the water. The house was perfectly as described, absolutely spotlessly clean. The location is a great base for visiting the Cotswolds. We had lovely day trips and it was always nice to come home to our little house. The beds are so comfortable, the house was lovely and warm . Its location is perfect, a nice little pub across the road and an easy 5-10 min flat walk into town. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a cosy house in the Cotswold.
