Vacation rentals with breakfast in Carteret County

My husband needed a place to stay in the area for work. Since he was going to be there for a couple of months, a hotel or motel would not have been ideal. When I reached out to Jeannie for advice she was wonderful. She walked me through the process and was extremely helpful and friendly. Her cottage was perfect for him with plenty of room, a big kitchen, and beautifully decorated. Jeannie was very responsive when I had questions, and would check in periodically to make sure that he had everything he needed. The cottage was fully equipped with everything that you would need, and she even had beach supplies. I mentioned that he was looking for a small BBQ grill while he was there, and she messaged back that they had one and would deliver it that evening! She also offered advice on great restaurants and places to go, and many places were within walking distance. I would highly recommend Jeannie's place.

If you’re looking for a great location with a walking distance to the beach, this is it. We were visiting for the North Carolina Seafood Festival and ended up skipping a large chunk of it because we enjoyed the area near us more. Pros: plenty of stores close by to grab last minute items for the beach (sandals, sunglasses, and bathing suits), not crowded during the first week of October (beginning of off season but better than staying right in Morehead City) enough room for multiple guests Short driving distance to the aquarium, Fort Macon, grocery stores, nail salons etc Very safe - police and fire station are a block away as well If you end up staying here definitely make sure to go to Shark Shack (very walkable), Table 9, Bahia (also very walkable), Mug Shot, and Beaufort, which is a short drive away and has so many cute shops and restaurants on the waterfront.

This condo was everything we had hoped for and more! The location was beautiful and the condo was cute and well-appointed with comfortable furnishings. The kitchen was well-stocked and made it easy to cook dinners at home because it had so many things on hand. The host provided us with an assortment of food and snacks, which was a highlight after the long drive to the beach. The amenities in the property are a little rundown, but good enough for us to have lots of fun. The host was very kind and responsive, and we would definitely book again if we came back to this beach. We came in April and had lots of privacy on the property and beach.

If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful place to stay, look no further. I was able to relax here; hopefully will be able to enjoy the outdoor surroundings (it was raining pretty good whenever I was back in the evening). And don't forget to set your alarm on departure day if leaving early - the bed is so comfy you won't want to get up to take care of housekeeping chores.

We had a much needed, peaceful, regenerative stay! Celia and her husband were gracious hosts and were always quick to answer any questions we had. The area was easy to walk/bike around and the kayaks and paddle boards were a nice touch! Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a quiet getaway!

I can’t say enough good things about The Lighthouse. Beautifully decorated, clean, and kitchen with everything you need to cook great meals during your visit. Great parking for beach access and nice boat/kayak launch nearby. Short drive to grocery store and restaurants. We loved it so much we extended our stay a couple of days! Endless Summer is a fantastic place to stay in the heart of Emerald Isle! It is centrally located near the beach, the sound side, Bogue Inlet Pier, restaurants, activities & shops. The golf cart that comes with this rental is a huge perk! Not only do you have access to private golf cart parking and beach access, you can also cruise around the area in it. The home is full of entertainment and things to do. Haylee & Alex (the hosts) are very helpful, friendly, responsive and do everything in their power to ensure a wonderful stay. They also go above and beyond and provide ample amenities. Their home is fully stocked and beautifully decorated to make you feel completely at ease and comfortable during your stay. I would highly recommend staying here if you're ever in the area!

This was our second time staying at Patricia’s Airbnb. We LOVED our stay! Patricia is an amazing host and makes an amazing breakfast. She’s so friendly and we felt right at home! The place is beautifully decorated and the porch had an amazing view. We highly recommend!
