Vacation rentals with lake access in Carolina Beach

Loved our stay at Tony’s place! The house is so cozy and comfortable with everything you need! Close to both beaches and lots of dining options in the area. While enjoying the charming neighborhood, we’ve crossed paths with some of the friendliest neighbors ever, making our stay even more special. We’re planning to return to Wilmington and will make Tony’s place our first choice!

Great location, and a great time. Backyard with pool is perfect with plenty of room for activities and entertaining. You can walk to the beach and restaurants within minutes.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Dune Daddy! Everything about it was wonderful and was done in such a thoughtful manner. The kitchen was perfectly stocked and we loved the dishes! Very cute and minimalistic. Combined with a breathtaking view it was perfect. A great big thank you to our wonderful hosts for a much needed respite.

Clean, pretty, easy to find and convenient location. It is listed as entire house, however, there is a unit downstairs which is fine but the backyard and deck is open to both units. That wasn’t a problem but would have been good to know as we both had pets there. Again, no issues and the place is perfect for location, cleanliness and good hosts so no complaints!

Enjoyed our stay. Teenager loved fishing in the paddle boat.

Five Stars All the Way! We had the most incredible stay at Vaycash on Bald Head Island! From the moment we walked in, it felt less like a rental and more like staying at a dear friend’s beautiful home. Stef has thought of everything—the home is gorgeously decorated, full of charm, and stocked with more amenities than any place we've ever stayed. This was hands-down the most above-and-beyond experience we’ve ever had with an Airbnb. Every detail was thoughtfully done—from the fully equipped kitchen (a dream to cook in!) to the peaceful, tucked-away location in the woods that gave us the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure. The golf cart made exploring the island a breeze, and the kids were thrilled with the bikes and kayaks. Stef’s generosity and attention to detail made this getaway truly special—we didn’t want to leave! We can’t recommend Vaycash highly enough and are already dreaming about our next visit.

We had such a wonderful time! The house was so beautiful and perfect for our family! Tyler was very responsive any time we had questions about anything. The porch was so relaxing! Golf carting around the island and exploring was probably our favorite! We hope to visit again!

I had an amazing experience at this Air Bnb and with Rachel! To start off the AirBnb is in an amazing location right in between Carolina beach and Wilmington so perfect spot! Air Bnb was very clean, very roomy, very relaxing and cozy as well! Has the fire pit in the backyard and a separated area for the dogs to run around! Was a perfect place for me! I can’t begin to explain how amazing Rachel has been! She explains everything from the beginning so that way there are no surprises during check out. She also recommended some amazing places to try! Probably the most communicative host I have had! I would completely disregard the awful review that was given before me. Clearly some people do not know how to follow rules and then like to blame others because they can not take responsibility for their own actions. We had a wonderful experience staying at the Carolina Beach property. Ligia was an exceptional host — she was very responsive and kept in constant communication throughout our stay. When we faced an A/C issue, she was quick to take action and made sure it was resolved promptly. She is truly on top of everything and made sure we were comfortable at all times. Her husband, Carlos, was also incredibly helpful and supportive. Overall, their hospitality made our stay even better. Highly recommend

Great place for a beach getaway! Location is about a 7 min walk to the nearest public beach access and the place was clean and beautifully decorated. Would definitely recommend.

This is my third time staying here and it was amazing as always! I love being able to rent a golf cart and it being a short walk and drive from the boardwalk!

Our family of 4 really enjoyed our week in Julia’s place. The unit was very clean and nicely appointed. We were thrilled to find a welcome gift from Julia upon our arrival! She was always available to answer our questions and provide recommendations for the area. Being the off season, the area was very quiet and not at all crowded. We enjoyed the tiki bar right next door for lunch. We enjoyed watching dolphins from our oceanfront balcony! If we return to Carolina Beach in the future, we will happily request this place again.

This place is a hidden gem! A great getaway spot with a short walk to the beach or anything else. Great food, great views, and plenty of things to do! Margaret was an excellent host. I would be happy to stay here again.

Super cute and cozy just as described. Well stocked and felt right at home. Hosts were super responsive and provided clear instructions throughout the entire booking and checking out process. Perfect stay for a quick trip or long weekend. Would definitely stay here again!

Upon arrival, drove down one of the most enchanting driveways I've seen in years. I was looking for peace and quiet, and found it. Lovers of flora and fauna will delight in this spot. Water birds abound, so bring your binoculars please. Although in the city of Wilmington, the home feels more like a stay at a barrier island, ripe with very old oaks. Simply lovely and outstanding AC system and a very comfortable bed. Only two things would make this cottage even more perfect, a full length sofa and a second television in the bedroom. But...it is still wonderful.

Danielle was the perfect hostess! She was quick communicating, the property was as described, she accommodated a change (after it was too late to change) to our travel needs, and basically she and her property were a fabulous oasis minutes from the airport! What's not to love? 😀

Great spot in a great location. Giant kitchen and plenty of room inside and on the front porch. Kitchen was big enough to host Thanksgiving! Everything was just as advertised and very enjoyable.

The place and stay were fantastic. The kitchen had everything that we needed, which is what I was worried about. Would stay here again 100%!

The Cove at Myrtle Grove is a place of refreshment. The beautiful water view and the quiet surroundings allow you to relax and even disconnect from the world. As advertised! Would recommend and hope to return. Everything was great! There is not one negative I can think of. One of the best places we have stayed through Air BnB. Sue was a great host, super clean, comfy beds, plenty of space, well equipped kitchen, excellent location.

I didn't get to see much of the beach but the location of this place wasn't too blame! I went off season, and still a bit chilly but place is super walkable to the local fare and attractions (including the beach). Space was clean and cozy.

Cute place at the beach- enjoyed comfortable beds and furniture, proximity to the beach and restaurants, and thoughtful touches such as sound machines and beach towels.

This is the second time we have stayed at this Airbnb. It feels like our “second home” in NC when we go to visit our daughter. They provide all you need for a successful and stress-free stay. Thank you for sharing your house. We enjoyed our stay and will be back again next spring break.
