Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Carmel Valley

This is by far the perfect beach getaway house! My husband had classes in the area so during the day my daughter and dog could walk right to the beach! There is even a museum right in walking distance I took my daughter to twice. And the Santa Cruz beach boardwalk is only a ten minute walk which we did another day! The Airbnb itself was beautifully decorated with a wonderful shower and a clawfoot tub. The outdoor area was so great to relax in as well. This place was stocked with beach chairs and toys and extra towels and even sunblock. Everything we could need. In fact we loved it so much we extended our stay. Yvonne was SO responsive and friendly and really made our vacation just completely hassle free and perfect. I can see why this place is always booked!

The house was great staying it was nit that far from the things that we had planned to do in Monterey.

House is in a great location in Seaside - close to restaurants and Monterey and Laguna Seca for the Sea Otter Classic bike expo. It was exactly what we wanted for our stay, and would definitely stay again.

Sarah’s house was beautiful- clean and lots of room. There was enough space for us to be together and space for alone time. There were 8 of us. Sarah had made some recommendations for dinners and places to go. We did try a couple of them and the Mexican restaurant and ice cream place was delicious . We had one issue with hot water and Sarah responded immediately and issue was resolved in a timely manner. The house was a little farther from Santa Cruz than we were used to but it only took 20 minutes get there. The area where the house was located was quiet and close to the ocean. We genuinely loved our time in Aptos. Would stay again .

Love Liz's place. I have stayed her numerous time and will continue to do so. What I especially LOVE: Cozy Private Patio High ceiling (feels spacious) Walk to coffee shop in the morning Walk to dinner in the evening Walk to the beach all the time Lovely neighborhood I highly recommend Liz's place!!!

Fantastic stay. Lovely house. Perfect enclosed area for a dog - we left her for hours when we were out doing activities. Great kitchen pots and pans. Holly was fabulous. Lovely neighborhood that was great for evening walks. Hope to stay again!!

this house is sooo close to the beach! The neighborhood is friendly. The house is comfortable with a great deck and lots of space. I definitely plan to stay here again. Myriam answered questions promptly and takes great care of the house.

A wonderfully peaceful place to stay.

The location of the apartment is awesome. We really enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and excellent view of the beach and ocean. Sleeping with the sound of the ocean waves was such a gift. Patti is lovely and kind with her communications. We did have some issues with the shower and bath sink in one of the bathrooms. We also wished we had paid attention to what was not listed in terms of provisions. For example, you’d have to bring your own coffee, teas, paper towels, and bathroom hand soaps (although napkins and bath soap bars were provided). Overall, a beautiful home at a great location with potentials for some minor improvements which I understand Patti will address in good spirit.

Amazing stay at Lisa's cottage! We had a great weekend away here and enjoyed the beautiful property and all the birds and wildlife. Really appreciated the thoughtful touches from Lisa as well. Highly recommend this Airbnb!

We stayed at the Salinas house for spring break week and it was everything we hoped it would be. It is a well established, beautiful neighborhood! We felt very safe there. The house accommodated all 9 of us comfortably. The house itself had everything we needed from towels, blankets, shampoo/conditioner, you name it. Location was perfect! 20+ mins from Monterey, old fisherman’s wharf, the aquarium, Carmel by the sea, pebble beach etc. Our host Dennis was great. He was very helpful and very quick to respond to any of our questions and needs! We would love to go back and if so, we will definitely consider staying at the Salinas house again!

We LOVED our stay! This home was such a great find. It’s beautiful, unique, and scenic. The property offered a lot that it’d be a tragedy not to spend most if not all of your time there. We enjoyed it so much we canceled outings. We had with us four teenagers and a pre school age little one. They loved venturing out, enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool time, and s’more making at the fire pit. We wished we had more time to BBQ and enjoy the gorgeous views of the valley. The separate unit above the garage with two bedrooms was perfect for the girls to enjoy their privacy. All of the beds were comfortable, & it had plenty of bathroom & pool towels. Everything was decorated beautifully & was well stocked. The living room had a comfy couch & the kitchen, although on the small side, was perfect for quick home cooked meals. This was a beautiful property, easy to disconnect from reality & a comfy home! It’s worth the drive up/down the windy road, so if you get car sick, just come prepared!

Carmel River Inn is exceptional! I have stayed here many times and it's always an excellent experience! Beautiful grounds, beautiful, quite,peaceful with a babbling brook behind it!! you can't go wrong, highly recommend it,easy access to many great restaurants and shopping

Our group of six girl friends had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful property. The garden was serene and the rooms were sparkling clean.The cozy interiors of the house made us feel completely at home. All the recommendations given by the host were very helpful in planning our itinerary .It’s rare to find a place that feels both luxurious and deeply comforting. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful, serene and charming getaway.

Our family had a wonderful stay here! Plenty of space for the 5 of us, and perfectly located. Just a block away from the coastal path, and easily walkable to restaurants in both Pacific Grove and Monterey. The bedroom with the twin beds is definitely cozy, but it was perfect for my younger two children. The other 2 bedrooms are nicely sized, as are the bathrooms. The neighborhood felt very safe, and it was so nice to have off street parking in the driveway! The house is very well maintained and nicely stocked - we wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

Magical! That is the word that just kept coming up for us! What a lovely place! Chrissi and Stephen were just as sweet as the place! Great and easy location to get to all things Santa Cruz (of course the Redwoods too!). We just loved the cozy and unique vibe, the gardens, you just step into a little retreat as soon as you arrive. It had all we needed. Parking is street parking, which we had a slight concern with (I am an over packer!), but we were able to find a space right near out front every time (literally!). We will be back, I have no doubt!

It was great to arrive at Chi-Pings place after a long day of driving. Clean, beautiful, and spacious inside. Not too far of a drive from restaurants and beach in Carmel. Would stay here again!

This is a very comfortable and stylish house, with 2 bedrooms and 2 outdoor sitting areas. It is a short stroll to the beach where there are several restaurants and a coffee shop. We had a wonderful weekend getaway and would love another chance to stay there.

The cabin was charming and the location was perfect, as we were tucked away in the forest, yet minutes away from Carmel and all that Big Sur has to offer. We went on walks around the area to explore, met friendly neighbors along the way, ate at local restaurants, and cooked when we decided to stay in for breakfast or for the night at the cabin. It was the perfect stay with our son and dog. The cabin was cozy and provided everything that we needed to make for a memorable experience. Thank you so much!

Ms. Jane was a great host. The space was a perfect size and had a personal entrance for guest. Also Ms. Jane communicated with and responded with in the hour of our message. The location was ideal for us. We had easy access to Santa Cuz, San Fran, Monterey and Big Sur. We would recommend our own family and friends.

Had a wonderful stay! Janet’s home was very peaceful and relaxing. Literally had anything we could need during our stay. She also let us check out at 1 so we could go on one last adventure without being in a rush! I would definitely recommend her place, & stay there again sometime!!
