Magical Jungle Tree House with Hot Springs

KaitlinRating, 5 stars4 weeks ago
AMAZING! One of our favorite places we have ever had the pleasure to stay at in Costa Rica and I have been coming to this beautiful country for a decade. The springs are fantastic and well maintained. the property is beautiful and has a great hiking trail loop. I got to see blue Jean strawberry dart frogs too! The treehouse is gorgeous, spacious and well equipped. The kitchen was great and the bed was comfortable. We loved it so much that we spent most of the day on the grounds after we checked out. the cherry on top was being greeted and having a chat with the wonderful owners. Kathy and Bernie and incredible people and I absolutely recommend this gem of a place!

"Tumbleweed Cottage"

MarshaRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Awesome. That's just the start. it rained for most of the time we were there and it made the space even more beautiful. We rested and really took in the beauty of nature. Stefan was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, very responsive and giving excellent suggestions. The cottage was beautiful, a perfect balance of rustic and modern. If you are a nature lover, a lone traveler or a couple looking for some down time to rejuvenate and recharge, Tumbleweed is definitely the place for you. Thank you Stefan for sharing this amazing space with us. Thank you also to Elizabeth (housekeeper) for your kindness.

BOHO Bungalow — Tiny House on Wheels MIMO District

ElizabethRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Cute, comfy and clean tiny home nestled on the side of the owner's yard. Veronica was communicative and quick to respond with answers to my questions. The home is close to North Beach. I recommend Haulover Park if you are wanting a quiet day on the beach. There is a paid parking lot across the street and they have beach chair rentals. I appreciated how close the home was to restaurants and Wynwood Walls, which is a must see if you have time. Great space for solo travelers. Be aware that mosquitoes are bad, making it difficult to sit outside. Veronica was upfront about this, but don't let that deter you from staying in this great space!

The Little House, Crayfish Bay Organic Estate

MyriamRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Our stay was great, away from the resorts and the crowds. We explored the north of the island, which is quite different front the area around St George. Kim and Liette work very hard on their farm to produce wonderful chocolate artisanally. They showed us how they produce it and gifted us some to taste. The house was cosy and simple. The beds are quite comfortable, the living area is outdoor, with a view on the ocean and the jungle. Perfect to slow down and leave work behind.

“Vida D isla”

RyanRating, 5 stars2 weeks ago
Very well built and designed tiny home on a beautiful property. The location is ideal and the hosts couldn’t be more accommodating. The hosts clearly take a lot of pride in their properties and provided great recommendation’s and asked if there were any improvements they could make (I couldn’t think of any!). The owners dog Coco was present on the property and stoped by for a few visits which we were very happy to accommodate. I would definitely consider returning to Arecibo just to stay here again.

Very cute tiny house! If you're in your 20s/30s this is a cool place to stay, especially of you plan to depart from the Punta Gorda airport the following day (less than a 5 min drive!!!). If you're in your 40s+, not sure how you'll feel about climbing up a ladder to your bed in a small confined area. They do have a pull-out couch as an alternative though!(+). Either way, I'll def keep this site at the top of my list next time I plan to visit family in FL!

Cozy Tiny House: Pool, Nature & Top Beaches

CandyRating, 5 stars6 days ago
This place is just as it looks, the host communicated very well. I arrived at night so finding the gate code pad was difficult I don’t think they mentioned it’s two tastes and one had a code and I couldn’t find the other.. getting out the gate was also hard because I couldn’t find the button but it’s in the barn lol lawd that’s was a hide n seek mission. The patio is so cute and great for relaxing and pictures as well as pictures. The shower top tier, I almost drowned Lmaoo but worth it the stone walls did somtthing for the aesthetic.. would definitely book again.. 15 mins away from hussle and bussle.

Luxury Tiny Home

VanessaRating, 5 stars3 days ago
Pedro was a great host! There was a large blackout while we were there and Pedro checked in on us multiple times. He also made sure the generator didn’t run out of gas. The house is in a very beautiful location. There is a locked gate to the subdivision. It felt very safe. Local people were friendly and would switch to English when we were struggling with our limited Spanish skills. It’s about 30 mins to San Juan. My husband and I spent only two days in San Juan and with the rest of our time spent traveling around the country. This house was in a perfect location for us to do that. Caguas is the closest city and has a wonderful restaurant, Faccio Pizza, that we ended up going to twice (once for pizza and back again for their pasta). The house also has a nice size fridge so we could buy groceries and make our breakfast each morning. We really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect "Tiny" Tree -Lake House

KimRating, 5 stars1 month ago
The treehouse and surrounding gardens are just as beautiful in person as they appear in the photos. I loved my stay here, it truly felt like a tropical vacation. Traveling solo it's very important to me to feel safe, and I certainly did here. It's nice knowing the owners are on site but far enough away to provide privacy. Loved loved loved the hot tub each evening, and the lake (and resident bullfrog & fishes) were so lovely. Unfortunately the treehouse is too small for an indoor seating area which would have been nice on cold mornings, but there is no shortage of amazing outdoor seating areas for your morning coffee - just wrap up in a blanket. One thing worth noting as I'm not sure it's 100% clear in the description: there is no indoor shower. The outdoor one can take some getting used to when mornings are in the 50s, but the water does get nice & hot so no big deal. But it might not be ideal for those who aren't fans of the outdoors.
