Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Capitola

Two families with 2 littles kids each (3-8yo) stayed there and it was perfect for us. The house is very spacious, perfect for the 8 of us. Nearby Boardwalk and other fun locations to enjoy with the kids. We picked some tomatoes and a couple of asian pears for breakfast and they were delicious. The kitchen is very well provisioned with lots of utensils and condiments that made our meals much better. Thank you Sun and family! I was a little bit scared with the almost 3 years old when I read some reviews, but he did great. He was interested in some National Geographic books in the living room and I hope we put them back in the right place :) looking forward to come back in the future.

Janiece was easy to communicate with. The house was beautiful, perfect for multiple people with loads of communal space.

The Beach House was exactly as described - tastefully remodeled while retaining the classic Aptos Beach bungalow vibe. Very thoughtfully prepared with outdoor games and items you would need for a beach getaway. The outdoor area and backyard are cleverly organized for everything you would want. I just wish we could have stayed longer (and had warmer weather!). Lots of great information in the folder for things to do and places to eat. Kudos!!

As soon as you arrive it feels like home, gorgeous home very spacious loved the kitchen spent most my days there. Big dining table and outside on the patio, the living room area very comfy and spacious my daughter loved it yet she loved her room big and it had 3 comfy beds with toys and tv. It’s definitely kid friendly yet can also be a great couple getaway amazing view the pool very clean and had a small cottage/ office outside on the top hill cute and comfy. The rooms are very I mean very spacious and have everything you need as well as the restrooms easy access to the laundry area in the garage comes with bikes, beach toys and accessories for the beach. The pool is fenced and has nice outside furniture to rest and enjoy the amazing sunny days. The host were very helpful attentive and fast at responding at my questions & needs that I had during my 1 week stay. Look forward to staying and renting from them again.

The only word that sums up Mike and Jen’s house is “WOW”! In the 10 years that I’ve been renting on Airbnb theirs is the first house that looks exactly how they show it in the pictures! This is truly a gem! The house was sparkling clean and the backyard was very well maintained. What was really impressive is they decorated the house with a Christmas tree and stocking over the fireplace. They truly make you feel like you’re at home. This shows that they truly care about the rental and its potential renters. Jen was very proactive in reaching out to make sure that we were ok and if we needed anything. This place was a great launching point for either Monterey or Santa Cruz. I definitely plan on staying here again.

Clean, comfy, and conveniently located for our road trip to Santa Cruz and the coast. We walked to shops, the marina, and the beach during our stay. The large dining table was great for playing Yahtzee while Alexa served up our favorite tunes on demand. Al, the maintenance guy who lives next door, introduced himself the first day of our stay, gave us his card, and offered to support whatever we needed—but we didn’t need much. A previous guest left a broken corkscrew, and I could've called Al. Instead, I walked to Day’s Market Liquors & Deli and bought a $5 replacement, along with freshly made chicken tamales that were absolutely delicious.

We felt right at home at Jocelyn's and enjoyed our stay. Her home is spacious, yet cozy, and afforded us a great night's sleep. The kitchen is extraordinary for those who love to cook or eat in. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable to some good local eateries. It's also an easy drive to all that Santa Cruz has to offer. Highly recommended!

Thank you for opening this wonderful home for us to stay. It was spotless, comfortable and a wonderful spot to cozy away in the rain and soak up the sun a few days later. Appreciated the easy parking and outdoor deck-with space to store a surfboard. It was a perfect getaway for this newly empty-nester couple and now our new favorite spot!

We had a fantastic stay here! Beautiful property in every way. Upscale fixtures, appliances, countertops, shower, tv, etc. Everything modern and up-to-date and mint condition. Super comfortable beds and lots of space. We loved it and would absolutely come back!

Staying at O’Neal Properties was on par with a hotel. Excellent customer service - hosts were super responsive when we had questions, gave local restaurant suggestions and provided beach gear, lots of stuffed animals , games for the kids and beach towels. Well appointed kitchen and amenities including cleaning and laundry supplies. Also, the location can’t be beat. Three minute walk to the beach, nearby arcade and safe. They provided a street parking pass and map to help us know where to park. Overall 5 stars and would definitely book again in a heartbeat.

Well-stocked, simply furnished bungalow-type attached residence in the Seabright neighborhood, convenient to the northeastern residential sections of Santa Cruz and to supermarkets and natural food stores. Many new, easy-to-operate small appliances and good laundry set-up. Ample kitchenware and condiments. Quiet city surroundings, easy parking. Overall, staying at the unit (and interacting with owner) was a pleasure.

Matthew is a great host. It was very easy to park in front of his property and the check in process was straightforward. His place is private and away from the crowd while it is only 10 mins of beautiful walk along the coast to get to the boardwalk. I'd stay at his place again when I visit Santa Cruz. Highly recommend!

The place was comfortable and cozy. The decor was retro-vintage 80's-90's. Dan was quickly responsive to an outside lighting situation.

Great place to stay. Pictures were very accurate. Instructions to enter were easy to follow. Quick walk to Capitola Village. Very quiet place. Will stay there again when in Capitola. Had a problem with the shower drain and Dan came within 30 minutes of my email and fixed it. He was very nice and accommodating.

Grew up in Santa Cruz and coming back to visit, this place really felt like home. Thank you for sharing your space with us for the weekend. Look forward to coming back

We stay at Seascape a couple of times a year, we love the location: beautiful beach walks, pools and hot tubs, walk to the market, and then just a quick drive to Capitola, downtown Santa Cruz, or even the boardwalk. This particular rental was lovely and very homey. The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms are clean, the kitchen is well appointed, there are two nice balconies- one with a great table that is perfect for cocktails or coffee. There are two pullout couches, which made the living room so fun to watch movies with the teenagers. More than anything, we appreciated the very accommodating host, who was kind enough to let us check in early so that we could leave our bags while we went shopping downtown. It was really a lovely stay. I recommend both Seascape, and this particular rental, very highly.

This was the cleanest AirBnB we've ever stayed in! Pristine! Tidy! Stunning ocean views from both the living room & primary bedroom. The entire villa has been remodeled yet still has the Old World Charm and coziness. This Villa is located on the 2nd floor of North Bluff - is very private - has a pool jacuzzi just steps away. The resort offers many amenities, restaurant, bar, room service (or pick up) massage, sauna - endless. Aptos Village is right across the street - walking distance offering many shops, market and a great place for pizza and Italian food. We will definitely stay with Sue again - as soon as we can! Next time, we'll try her other property #33. Sue is a GREAT hostess in every area and has earned Super Host many times over!

We stayed for the weekend and really enjoyed it. The place is really nice and exactly what you see on the pictures. super clean and very comfortable. Well equipped with everything you need. Super close to the beach and you can be in bed listening to the waves ( super relaxing). I highly recommend this place and look forward to coming back again. Owner was very easy to communicate and checked in to make sure we arrived safely and were comfortable. Thank you for letting us stay.

One of the cleanest Airbnbs we have stayed at. Steps to the beach and the location is ideal and prime as it’s not too far or close to the town/freeway.

Loved this place! Right by Capitola wharf so it was super easy to walk downtown for dinner and shopping. The apartment was bigger than I expected, super clean, and had everything we needed. Jennifer was very helpful and got back to us right away when we had questions. Definitely staying here again next time we visit!

Staying at Seascape was the perfect kid-friendly vacation. The pool was easy to access from our condo and the views were beautiful. The condo's set-up with two bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs and a half bath downstairs was great for our family of 5. The private beach was beautiful - we saw otters, whales, and my son found two perfect sand dollars walking down the beach. It was a little bit of a trek to get down to the beach with three little kids and all the beach gear, but once we were there no one wanted to leave. Several near-by restaurants were delicious, especially the newly opened Dos Pescados. It was fairly easy to get into Santa Cruz too, but we did have to time traffic or it would double the drive time (to almost 45 minutes).

Beautiful little place, with picturesque views of the Pacific Ocean and natural landscaping. Clean, comfortable and easy access. Lots of security that patrolled day and night, which is nice. Fine dining restaurant is within walking distance.

We liked this place so much that we returned for the second year for our winter getaway. The space is ample for a couple and the furnishings very comfortable. There are restaurants and coffee shops in easy walking distance and the beach is also just two blocks away. Aaron is always ready to help
