We had an amazing stay. Natasha was a wonderful host and went over and beyond to give us the best experience. She was extremely patient with all our questions and very accommodating. We loved the house. It’s much bigger than it looks on the photo and very well organised and kitted out. The house is in such a beautiful setting and it feels very peaceful. Lovely waterfall walks and swimming in the river is very enjoyable. We did hear the campers more than we would’ve hoped but that really is the only con.

Susanna is the most amazing host. Her beautiful cottage makes for a wonderful weekend away from the city🫶🏼 10/10 recommend!

Huckleberry House was a haven, with fantastic views of the beautiful Witzenberg mountains. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it was exactly what we hoped it would be. It was great value for money, and we would definitely recommend staying there.

We found an absolute gem! Our family of 5 (adult children) had an amazing time at the Cranefields Villa!! We loved the fact that each bedroom has an on-suite bathroom and lounge, which allowed for private down time and family together time, during our stay! The house is spacious, with a large dining room, patio, lounge area and the kitchen is very well equipped with quality appliances! The view of the mountains and the dam are breath taking! The adjacent vineyards and orchards afforded us long walks in nature, excellent bird watching and all-round relaxation!! We highly recommend this property for family and larger group break aways.

We really enjoyed our stay at Ouk School and would recommend it to anyone. Although it took us some time to get used to the house including all animals, alarm systems and water/ electricity rules. Once we got the hang of it (we are not so used to it, coming from Germany) we could really relax. A 3-5 day long stay would be recommended.

We had a lovely stay at this tastefully decorated cottage. The ability to walk down and canoe and swim in the river is really special. The cottage was well equipped and the fresh bread, butter and milk much appreciated. We enjoyed the kol kol pool and braai area too. The beds are super comfy with stunning linen. Thank you for hosting us.

Cobus's place was wonderful, my family had the best time ever. We really liked the house, it is tastefully decorated and modern and the kitchen is well equipped. Bed linen was good, mattresses were firm and comfortable. The views of the dam were beautiful. My grandchildren liked the lawn area at the back to run around and play. Cobus was a great and friendly host, always available to answer a question and very "on the ball". We will be back again for a holiday. I can highly recommend this lovely house on the Clanwilliam Dam x

Chandrè’s place not only was squeaky clean, however it smells sooo good. The decor was subtle but really classy and sophisticated. My husband and I Felt right at home. We would truly recommend this. She is such a great host and has good communication. We also made use of the recommendation restaurants, and they are so close by. New years even we spent it by the beach which was just about 5km or so distance… Worth the money indeed. Thank u so much Chandrè

Super destination, fun being on a working farm.. Would be even better if Bass and Trout fishing was allowed.. Plenty of fun activities in and around the area. Highly recommended.. Even recieved some free nectarines during our stay.. such a lovely touch.

lovely property, very clean, great presentation and the most comfortable beds. Our only issue was that we did not receive check in instructions and could not get hold of host. We ended up waiting by the front gate and having a local resident trying to help us before the cleaner arrived to let us in. other than that we had a very lovely stay.

Nina’s place got everything you need for a quality time in Franschoek. Feels like you are in a boutique hotel. Easy walk to town. Our host Monika was super friendly and responsive. Appreciate the bottle wine and cheese platter on arrival!

We had an amazing stay at Windon. The appartement was beautiful and the view breathtaking. Julie was very helpful with great recommendations and we felt very welcome. Would love to return hete some day.

We had a lovely time in Paarl. The place was clean and cozy, and we even received some welcome gifts. We did stay here for a 2-week "workation", but found the internet is, for that purpose, not powerful enough. For everyday use such as e-mails and social media, it is fine. The pots and pans could use a replacement as well, but when we asked for some more pots because we love to cook, we immediately received some extra. We even had some other questions during our time there, but Lois-Marie was always fast to answer and provide a solution. Her husband and family are the nicest people and open for a talk where they give you the best tips on what to do in the area. The dogs that wander around are very friendly, it was nice having them around. We used the braaipit several times as it was great to enjoy a braai in the evening with the view on the mountains. The small but private pool was perfect to cool down during the hot summer days.

I booked this beautiful spot for my mom to stay for 10 days and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect home. The home is beautiful and very well equipped! So much thought has gone into making the guests feel at home. The home was spotless and incredibly peaceful. The location of the home is excellent as it’s very close to everything, but you don’t have any noises coming from the roads/highways. Landi was incredibly kind, generous and helpful. Her home truly is a remarkable find. My mom was so happy there and didn’t want to leave. Definitely would recommend Haus Merwe to anyone. It exceeded all our expectations.

I cannot describe how magical our stay was at Sukkel Sukkel Wagenpad. The Wagenpad team went over and above to make us feel at home and exceeded all our expectations. We received some lovely welcome gifts and the space was filled with beautiful art, decor and furniture that created various moments in each unit. The kitchen was simple but it had exactly everything we needed. The bedroom was very comfortable with various windows showing the surrounding mountains. The donkey was easy to manage and gave more than enough water. We have never felt more calm and rested as we did at Wagenpad. The walks between the buildings was great as it keeps you connected to nature. There is also some lovely hiking paths, a dam to swim in and beautiful mountains surrounding you (and an infinite amount of start at night). It is a quiet space to escape all the rush and noise from the city. What a gem of a place! Will 100% and more recommended it!

This was one of the most beautiful stays we had in South Africa. The property is so beautiful and the kindness of Reniér and Shané made it even more beautiful. A nicely curated and homemade breakfast is provided. And there is so much to see (turkeys, dogs, pool, swing), so it’s perfect for adults and kids. We would definetly love to go back.

Awesome farm stay with the cutest brown lab and white ducks that popped in to say hello. All amenities available. Super clean. Beautiful scenery. Lovely cool pool.

What a gem of a place!

As a family, we've always had a soft spot for this charming Swellendam, but our recent vacation at The Berry Farm surpassed all expectations. The Raspberry Cottage, where we stayed, was an absolute delight! Immaculately neat, it had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The air conditioning was a welcome bonus on warmer days. But what truly made our stay unforgettable was the exceptional hospitality of our host, Henry. He's literally the best! Henry went above and beyond to ensure we were enjoying ourselves, doing routine checks and promptly addressing any issues that arose. His kindness, warmth, and efficiency are a testament to his success as a businessman and host. We look forward to our next visit!

A great location very peaceful. Melanie was very helpful and friendly some very nice touches with a game drive included and nice welcome Gin and Tonic. We saw a lot of animals on our hike from Eland to Giraffe. Sitting in the hot tub in the evening was a great way to finish the day. Would recommend this place for a very relaxed weekend away

We had a really wonderful stay at the cottage. The view from the balcony is so amazing 😍 And the cottage itself is full of art and character. Really feels like a proper home which my husband and I prefer over the more soulless Airbnb's we stayed at in the past.

Well equipped cottage. A stunning tranquil setting. Enjoyed counting satellites from the jacuzzi. A memorable getaway.
