Loft vacation rentals in Capannori

A home with incredibly beautiful views on the Tuscan countryside. The pool is amazing and we got to swim even in the evenings. The surroundings are quiet and quiet. The place is clean and fresh, but maybe a little crowded for four people. It is an advantage to have a car, because the taxi into town costs around 20 euros. A tip is to take a morning walk to the neighboring village of Colli di Buggiano for a cup of coffee, but remember cash because they don't take cards. Another tip is to have dinner at the neighboring restaurant I Sette Borghi with good food at fine sunset. We highly recommend this accommodation.

We loved Patrizio’s cottage. It is very cosy and has been renovated very well. It was the perfect place for us (2 people, 2 dogs). The kitchen was our favourite spot and the interior in the bedroom is very cool. The garden is great and the hot tub is a nice addition. The surrounding area is very nice and peaceful. The vineyards are beautiful. One evening we took a stroll up the hill to the nearby vineyard which was nice. Patrizio is super friendly and very responsive and we kept in touch throughout our stay, with him providing great recommendations. He also came to say hello and show us around the cottage during check-in. It’s a good base for day trips - we did Pisa, Lucca and San Gimignano - all of which were under an hours drive. He also recommended visiting his golf club for a small fee - they had a nice pool with beautiful views that we used one morning. We would highly recommend Patrizio and his place!

Our stay here far exceeded our expectations! We stayed in an actual castle overlooking the town of Certaldo in Tuscany! The views from Certaldo Alto were spectacular and just walking around the small city was breathtaking. Even though the structure we stayed in was ancient, the space was not. It had been updated with all modern amenities and was cozy and comfortable. There were great places to eat right outside the castle doors and we could easily access the town and train station with a short walk or ride on the funicolare. Gabbriella was always quick to respond and met as at the train station when we arrived and at the castle doors when we departed. She gave us lots of good recommendation of places to go and things to do and helped coordinate our e-bike rentals with a local company that turned out fantastic. We would highly recommend this stay as a unique and once in lifetime experience!

Tucked away but a short walk into the main areas of Lucca. Very clean and spacious with a comfortable bed. Silvia was quick to respond to messages and very friendly.

Antonellas place lies neatly in the hills of tuscany and still many points of interest (San Gimignano, Siena,...) are in reasonable distance. For our family the main features of the accomodation were: an apartment for a family with 3 kids; that we could bring our family dog and the pool. The pool is huge, has a great view and is well cared for. Our kids spent many hours there. Only drawback was the very poor wifi. We would gladly visit again.

This is an absolutely magical apartment--everything about it, down to the key! It was exactly what I had hoped it would be from the photos and very much more. It is extremely safe, being inside a veritable fortress of a building with enormous, imposing doors fit for a castle. The loft is so charming and decorated so tastefully--we were both in awe of it when we entered. We were prepared for the toilet-situation from reading the other reviews (there is no room for you to sit straight ahead, so you have to sit to the side). That didn't bother us. There is a washer, but we couldn't find detergent, so you should bring your own. Everything else was provided. I would offer only one note of caution for those looking to stay there. This was no issue for us, but the stairs leading up to the loft would be very difficult to use for anyone with mobility issues. We found them kind of hard to get used to (don't wear socks!). It was fine in the end, though, and every bit worth it!

This was the perfect place for my very first trip to Italy. The host made us feel so welcome and right at home, provided us with some super helpful information has checked in on us during our stay to make sure we didn’t need anything. The loft is located right in the heart of Lucca, with so much style, class and soul. Many great cafés and restaurants are a stone’s throw away and you have absolutely everything you could ask for in the loft. We left a piece of our hearts in that loft and in Lucca and will certainly be back.

The week I spent with my wife and our son flew in. It feels like you're staying in your own home, there's a lot of space to fix your stuff, and the silence that reigns during the night has allowed us to rest without any problems. It's not right in front of the sea, with a 4-year-old it takes almost 15 minutes, but you are almost always in the shade because there is a forest, partly pine forest, which you have to cross to get to the beach. It was a nice vacation, the place was more than suitable for our needs and fully met my initial expectations. Great communication with Paolo, a discreet and extremely kind and helpful person. Attached to the accommodation are butcher, bakery and a sandwich shop. Esselunga supermarket is 5 minutes away on foot. Parking, although for a fee (daily/weekly/monthly subscription), is easily available, even in high season. I definitely recommend this apartment for a beach holiday in Viareggio.

We based ourselves in Lucca for 5 days to explore Tuscany. It was great as we had a rental car. Secure and easy parking. Apartment was close to the train station in foot, as well as east to get into the old city.

Valerio has a wonderful home in the heart of old Lucca, it is furnished with love and respect to the traditions of the city. It is a meticulous example of the old city residence. Valerio was most generous with thoughtful supplies of coffee, bread, milk and a host of other supplies that made all the difference. We were most impressed with the generosity of the breakfast part of bnb. In fact we do not recall an Airbnb at which we were given a more generous supply of food/condiments. The apartment is essentially one good sized room in which there is a beautiful Queen sized bed and also a very comfortable double sized pull out sofa bed that our 19 year old daughter used. We were very close in the same room but this was no problem for us. The kitchen was equipped very well indeed and we enjoyed very much buying food and cooking ourselves after a long day walking. We couldn't have asked for more in the kitchen. The bathroom is separate with a large ante room and is beautifully appointed. There is hot water but it does take a long time to get there, but we were there in summer and it was very hot in Lucca so it did not worry us unduly. The water pressure is modest. There is a significant climb to the apartment, but you can't have the charm of old Lucca in a classic heritage protected building and all the modern conveniences. The only difficulty was with the WiFi service, it was very poor in the apartment, but if you sit on the staircase you can access all you need! We would recommend staying here, it was fabulous for us in the New World to experience a beautiful and ancient apartment in the Old World. Highly recomended

Umamma is a fantastic venue. You have the comfort of a very modern apt located in an ancient medieval Italian town square. The place itself is a work of art with fantastic views. The town of San Miniato is a perfect spot if you are looking for an authentic friendly Italian hilltop village steeped in history and that is off the tourist beaten path. Truffles with every meal. Gio is the best host. Very attentive and generous, helped book destinations, met us for drinks and offered his best dinner places. We look forward to staying here again and following Giovanni’s future developments.

What can I say but wow. We walked in, saw the view and it took my breath away. The pictures make it look like something that can’t exist in reality, but the place is even better than the pictures. It was so peaceful, had everything you could need or want. Gio’s attention to detail is unparalleled. We didn’t want to leave.

What an absolute gem of a find, great location near the train station, local cafes and restaurants are at walking distance. Place had a blend of traditional and Modern touches, with every you need. Madaline was a super host and brought me coffee when she came to top up the coffee pods. Such a nice touch. Highly recommended and defo will stay again.

I stayed in Simona and Luca's loft during the Lucca Comics event with 5 of my friends, we were all more than satisfied with the beautiful and very comfortable apartment. Great location to get around within the walls on foot to reach all the attractions. Very spacious apartment, equipped with all the services to live the experience in the most total comfort (from the card to access the recycling bins to the instructions to use the appliances in case of problems!!). Simona was super helpful and gave us access to the house in advance of the check-in time, and to leave with peace of mind on the last day. The loft was impeccably clean, it was immediately noticed that the hosts are truly committed to offering quality service. I can't wait to get back with my friends next year!!
