Vacation rentals with lake access in Canyon Lake

OMG what a beautiful home! It was perfectly clean and generously equipped. The master bedroom was beautiful and the bed was very comfortable. Exquisite view from the back deck, very relaxing. We will book this home again. It is the nicest place we have ever booked in Big Bear. We have booked in Big Bear several times before, for a bit cheaper, but they weren’t nearly as nice and impressive. Worth the price that was asked. Thank you Bryan. An awesome host. Vivian's cabin is PERFECTION! From the moment my husband and I arrived we felt welcomed and right at home. Nestled amongst the pines with just a few steps to cabin for easy access we felt instantly relaxed and excited for our weekend. The cabin is very clean with all the cozy mountain vibes. Vivian has impeccable taste in decor. We enjoyed meals looking out to the trees and watching the squirrels scamper on the deck, reading cozied up by the fire at night listening to Vivian's great record collection, soaked in the clawfoot bathtub with heated floors in the beautiful bathroom, and slept so well in the comfy bed and woke up looking out the most magnificent bedroom window like we were in a treehouse. The neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful and also close to the brewery and village. Vivian was a fabulous host and provided everything we needed. And we loved the guest book with the old photos of the cabin. Looking forward to planning our next stay!

We’ve stayed here numerous times and wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else when we’re in Arrowhead! Gorgeous house and the best hosts! The Village is literally around the corner too.

We’ve stayed in 4 Lake Arrowhead Airbnbs in the last two years and this was our favorite. It was immaculate (cleanliness is something I have very high standards for). It was well decorated and cozy—we particularly loved the comfortable couch and the gas fireplace. The secret kids room was a huge hit with my three-year-old who didn’t unpack a single toy or book we brought with us and it was very convenient that they had a pack and play (and a slumber pod even though we didn’t end up using it—the rooms get pretty dark and my toddler no longer needs it pitch black). The welcome gift with a personalized message, s’mores kit and hot cocoa was a really nice touch. We didn’t need a single thing while we were there so we didn’t touch base with Natalie much but we left our toddler’s pillow behind and even after check out she was very responsive and helpful. Super easy walk to the lake trail and close to the village and brewery. Great enclosed yard for pets. We loved every minute of our stay!

Loved our stay at Joseph’s home- the view is amazing and the home was cozy and had everything we needed- the area was cute and we enjoyed our walks around the lake area- you won’t be disappointed

The Blue Moon Lake House is absolutely wonderful! This was our second Christmas staying here, with our first visit back in 2016, and the home has only become more stunning over the years. There's plenty of comfortable space for everyone to relax. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare almost any meal. The lake views from the living and dining rooms are breathtaking, and the balcony offers ample space to enjoy the scenery together. The downstairs area is equally cozy, with a fantastic game room to keep everyone entertained. The hot tub is a standout feature—much larger and nicer than it was during our last visit. The guest house at the front is incredibly comfortable and includes a full kitchen and bathroom, making it perfect for additional guests. The parking area easily accommodates larger vehicles, and the location is ideal—close to 4x4 trails and just a short drive to Big Bear City. A big thank you to our host, Michael.

This has been one of THE BEST Airbnb’s I have ever stayed at. Jennifer is an amazing host, it was great to be able to ask a real quick question and get answers that were not only helpful but quick! This place was so roomy and our whole family enjoyed their stay! We were able to sit and eat and be together even with so many of us there. The rooms are split on the 3 floors, two masters upstairs, one on the main floor and the built bed room and the two Jack and Jill rooms down stairs. Most rooms had access to a balcony which was wonderful as well! Enjoying our mornings out on the balcony with our coffee was AMAZING, you can’t beat the view. We loved it so much we were tempted to stay longer! Definitely will be staying here the next time we come to Lake Arrowhead!

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy Airbnb in Big Bear for a family birthday celebration! The cabin was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend. The host was friendly and responsive, and the location was perfect—close to town but still peaceful and quiet. We made great memories and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend for family getaways!

The Nest was absolutely amazing!! Loved the colors,decor, layout, very clean, and definitely spacious for 2 people. Kerrie was very nice, and responsive when reaching out. The area was quiet/peaceful and within walking distance of the main restaurants/shopping area. Me and my husband enjoyed my birthday getaway!! Definitely recommend The Nest! Thanks!!!

Cozy place for us as a family of 4. The EV charger is so convenient for us this trip. The apt is 15’ away from snow summit or 10’ from downtown but we love the peaceful surroundings (walking distance to the bay). Extra blankets are helpful. We enjoyed the jacuzzi after a day of snowboarding/skiing. The hosts are mostly responsive.

The home was perfect for our family Christmas. Our kids loved the outdoor fire pit and board games. Home was perfectly described as an antique home with very a lot of detail in the home still. We will definitely be booking again

Great location if you are visiting Lake Arrowhead. It’s less than 5 minutes to get to the village that has most of the restaurants. Lake Gregory is also about 15 minutes away. Great space for our family of 4. Cassidy was very responsive and gave great details about our stay.

If you’re looking for a cozy home with beautiful amenities, this is perfect! We were two families (9 total, including teens and a 3-year-old), and everyone had a fantastic time. The private backyard with a walking trail was a highlight, offering peace of mind as the kids explored safely. The warm, welcoming community added to the charm, making us feel right at home. For cooking enthusiasts, this home is a dream! The kitchen was fully stocked, so we didn’t need the extra cookware we brought. A testament to how thoughtful the hosts are. The entire home is impeccably designed, with every detail considered to ensure comfort. You can book with confidence knowing this space feels like home. Fair warning: your spouse may leave inspired to recreate the décor or amenities at home! 😄 Highly recommend for anyone seeking a comfortable, quiet, scenery, well-equipped getaway.

This is our second year spending Thanksgiving at Emmett’s Place. There was surprisingly little traffic on the ride up to Big Bear, so Emmett let us check in hours early. Emmett is a responsive, proactive, and friendly host, whose house and furnishings are attractive and very comfortable. My dog loved the fenced-in yard. My adult daughter and I had the best, most relaxing time. Our favorite place in Big Bear is inside Emmett’s house.

Ahhhdorable Vintage Storybook Cottage is truly a gem! The location couldn’t be better — just a short walk to both the lake and the village. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with a warm, homey feeling. The cottage smelled amazing and was absolutely spotless. We especially loved the fenced front yard, which was perfect for our little corgi — he didn’t want to leave when it was time to check out! The kitchen was well-stocked with pots, pans, and everything we needed to cook during our stay. My husband and I had a wonderful time in Big Bear relaxing and unwinding, and staying at this cottage made it all the more perfect. Huge thanks to the wonderful hosts — the cleanliness and thoughtful touches throughout the cabin truly show how much they care about their guests’ experience. Highly recommend!

Sharon's Cottage was lovely. The house and property are beautiful and nestled in a quiet, quaint neighborhood. Just a few minute drive from all the shops at Lake Arrowhead. My family of five stayed for 3 nights. The kids loved it. Lots of board games and children's toys were available. Sharon was a fantastic host. Answered any questions we had prior to our stay and was so accommodating allowing us to check-in early. Can't say enough about this place. Thank you, Sharon!

Staying at the Cozy Cottage was an amazing experience! I booked the cabin for a weekend trip as a Valentine’s Day present, and our stay there was perfect. Mary Ann & Chuck were both very helpful, they guided us to an alternate route to the cabin to avoid an icy/snowy hill, and made sure we got there okay. As far as the cabin itself goes, there’s really nothing bad to say. The heaters upstairs and downstairs work great, and they work fast. You don’t need to go above 68° to really feel warm. The water pressure & heat in the shower is great, the bathroom’s immaculately clean, and very well-themed! The master bedroom is also very well put together. Everything is labeled, but non-obstructively; you only see them when you need them! We made sure to follow the guide & instructions in welcome packet & introductory e-mail, and we had no questions. Check-out was very flexible, and the amenities are amazing. Make sure to sign the guest book if you visit :) 10/10!!

Matt and Lindsay are very responsive to communication and available 24/7 to answer questions. Their home is lovely and the location could not be better. Walkable to the lake and very near Lake Arrowhead Village, hiking trails, and most activities. Very clean and comfortable. We had a peaceful 3 days.
