Classic beach house. Short walk to beach & town.

The Beagle has a perfect beach-cabin feel. All wood interior, exposed wooden beams. Three bedrooms downstairs (one's a small bunk-bed room). Living room/kitchen and large deck w/ partial ocean view upstairs. There's a fenced yard (dogs welcome; sorry no cats). Wifi, cable TV, streaming, washer/dryer and fireplace. Two blocks from Laneda Av (main commercial street) and 3 blocks to the beach. Not fancy, but great location and very comfortable for a weekend or week-long beach getaway.

Love, love, love the Mermaid Escape! The house is so adorable and feels like a home away from home. The location is amazing! It's just a 5 min walk to the beach and on the way you pass a general store (which has about everything including firewood for the beach), a Mexican restaurant, and a brunch place. If you need anything else, it's just a 5 min drive away. The jacuzzi and fire pit on the deck are divine, and the two large soaking tubs put this place over the top! The owner, Lynnet, was super responsive and sweet. I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking to feel like they are at a home-away-from home while also on a vacation. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Beach House. It was so welcoming with its cozy beach vibe and the beautiful views of the ocean from the living room, deck and several of the bedrooms. The layout of the house made it easy to gather together for games and meals. The bedrooms located on 3 different levels and the private back deck made it easy to have some time to yourself. The kitchen was spacious and well stocked with cookware and plenty of dishes for serving a large group. All of this and only steps away from the long, open beach. Thank you for sharing your beach home with us.

Cutest little place just a 2 minute walk to the beach. Had everything we needed with such a cute theme. Went for a quick little getaway and this was perfect. Great location! It's just over the sand dune to the beach and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants. We had a wonderful stay. The Salal house was comfortable and cozy whether it was raining or sunny, and you always get a mix on the Oregon coast. We truly enjoyed sitting on the back deck in the sunshine. Kim was quick to respond to any questions. We would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay for Spring Break. The property looked just like the pictures very clean, nicely decorated and private. We didn't have any issues with the heating system. The thermostat worked like any other and we set it to our comfort zone. The home was fully equipped and I appreciated the extra items in the bathroom (since I forgot a showercap). There was plenty of space for us to be together and have alone time. We'll definitely book here again!

Stayed with my family, to include one child, and everybody had a comfortable space to sleep in, the common areas were set up well for interacting and playing card games. Loved the view from every front room (main living room, kitchen, and the upstairs area). Had a blast playing ping pong, and got to enjoy one of the most wicked storms I’ve ever seen at a beach! Super short walk to the beach, and close to the main drag of town with coffee and food a short walk away.

We had a great time at Vanessa’s house. The location is very walkable- only a block to the beach, a few minutes to Sea Level Bakery, and a few minutes more to the Fresh Foods grocery store. You have an unobstructed view of the ocean from the living room and front porch. The house is well appointed and had everything we needed. We especially enjoyed the gas fireplace. Would definitely book again.
