The cave house hangs like a swallow's nest on a hillside. It impresses especially with its fantastic sea view and south-west orientation. In good weather you can see up to the neighboring island of Tenerife. Both bedrooms as well as the living room are located in the cave part of the house. In the annex are the kitchen, a bathroom with bathtub, panoramic window and shower, and the separate toilet/laundry room. There is a small terrace and a rooftop terrace with chill out area and barbecue.

Our finca is located in the southeast of Tenerife in the mountains. You can enjoy wonderful tranquility, magnificent sunrises and a starry sky at night. The area is sparsely populated. Neighbors are rarely there. The highway and beach are only 7 km away. When designing the finca, we were guided by the natural structures of the site and thus created exceptional accommodations. Casa Azul - Welcome to the chicken house

The chicken coop used to be here. But there's almost nothing left to see of it. The rock walls create a pleasant microclimate and the large windows let in a lot of light and also overlook the slope. You can relax on the terrace and after an eventful day, the rain shower awaits in the wellness oasis. The "chip" can also be changed quickly by car. 15 minutes to the beach, 25 to Las Palmas and 30 to the south.

It was an amazing place to stay so beautiful and serene. You could just stare at the ocean all day. The house is based in a tiny village in the north which is far away from any of the touristy places which is what we both loved. Christelle was a great host and went the extra mile. She left us little goodies mostly local produce which was such a sweet idea. When we got there she showed us around the place and came and said bye when we left. I loved the fact that if you aren’t able to take everything back with you like water they pass it on to people who are less fortunate on the island. Overall it was such a lovely place to stay that is well looked after with a great host

Was a surprise for my partner as she'd always wanted to stay in a cave and we like quirky places. It did not disappoint. Great to have use of the pool although it was pretty cold but we dared ourselves to get in! Nearby village was pretty and even had a veggie restaurant. Terrace is private with lovely plants

We had a nice time in the cave house. The bed is large and comfortable for sleeping. In the living room, you can make yourself really comfortable on the sofas with blankets. The cave is very well air-conditioned. When it is hot outside, the cave is pleasantly cool and when it gets cold at night, it stays warm in the cave. The view is great, you can see all the way to the sea. Only when it is windy, unfortunately the farm is exactly in a wind tunnel, so it is advisable to check the weather beforehand. Again and again we have been visited by stray cats and sometimes even dogs, but these were sweet and unproblematic. The cave is well located for hiking and not far from the airport by car. You have your peace and quiet. However, the cave is secluded from nightlife, tourist areas and beautiful beaches. Communication with Pilar was quick, friendly and very straightforward. We were even able to check in a little earlier than originally planned.

Many thanks Linda and Marc for a lovely time in your cave house. We enjoyed cooking outside under the stars, waking up in the morning with a view of the sea and sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening. We immediately felt at home. Furnished with attention to detail and perfectly located for our excursions to the mountains and the beach. We will be happy to come back.

We spent two weeks in this truly special place — and it’s actually even more beautiful than in the photos. We couldn’t stop marveling at the breathtaking view (even from the bed!). You can spend hours simply watching the sea and the activity in Santa Cruz and its harbor through the binoculars provided in the cave — all in absolute peace and quiet. Only at dusk do you hear the charming and quirky calls of the seabirds, which somehow make the atmosphere even more magical. The location of the cave was also perfect for exploring La Palma by rental car. If the weather doesn’t cooperate, you can simply head to the other side of the island, or choose a DVD from the large collection and get cozy indoors. Thanks to the adorable little gecko roommates, we didn’t encounter a single mosquito during our entire stay. To top it all off, Jeroen and Coco are wonderful hosts — helpful, full of great tips, but never intrusive. We already miss the cave and will definitely be back!

A mountain hut that is even more beautiful than in the photos – with complete equipment, in quiet and beautiful surroundings. If you want to escape the hustle and bustle and find an idyllic place, this is the perfect choice. There is a supermarket and a bus stop nearby – so also very convenient. Will definitely come back.

Had an amazing stay here! Very private and although we don’t drive we still managed to get around on buses (although they were long). Our host was amazing and super accommodating. She even heated the hot tub up for us so it was ready for our arrival (as we arrived later than we expected). She checked in on us lots and even though during our stay she fell ill, she kept to the highest standard. The place was so cosy and relaxing and the hot tub was amazing :) We also made friends with a few cats that visited, that were very friendly and a great addition. The caves did get a little cold in the evenings however easily resolved with putting a jumper or long sleeve top on. Some evening this cold was refreshing tho on the hotter days and especially refreshing during the days.
