So this is a special kind of place you don’t find too often. A bit off the beaten track - tucked away in a banana plantation and reached via a short trek up a river bed and a steep climb this oasis is prefect to ‘get away from it all’ for a bit. I stayed in the ‘dorm’ but this is essentially a house with 5 beds upstairs - very spacious, not the cramped bunk beds I was used to from the last few weeks. It really helps if you love cats and dogs - which I do - so there were a lot of hours spent talking to others staying while stroking a cat or three. I only had two nights there but it’s the kind of place you can ‘end up staying for a while’ and I got the impression many people return a lot. As hopefully I will!

We really liked our stay in Kerry's house. Kerry and her husband are really kind and thoughtful. The bedroom and the bathroom, shared with the other airb&b room were perfectly clean. The first breakfast (simple but ok) has been nicely offered. It's only 8 min from San Juan to go to nice restaurants and close to different Tenerife's places of interests. The jacuzzi is open until 8am max and perfectly located outside to be able to see the stars when you are inside for example.

Joana welcomed us very warmly, recommended great places around the accommodation. She was a great and caring host. Breakfast is included in the price and is quite suitable. Although the space is shared, our private space is perfectly respected. We recommend it 100%, if we have to come back to the Canaries we won't hesitate :)
