Family-friendly vacation rentals in Camarillo

This place was so great!! The private use of your own pool and hot tub were my kids favorite part and used every night after our California adventures. We loved our stay and if we ever find ourselves in Cali again this would for sure be our first pick to stay. Thanks for everything!!

We were extremely comfortable and there was not anything we “wanted” for. It was beautiful views and surrounding areas. Great stay! Would recommend it to anyone.

This place was just as beautiful as the pics! Remote and private, definitely worth every penny! Neighborhood was very calm and quiet, just what we were looking for. Adam was an awesome host! Any questions or concerns, I received a response quickly. The house was beautifully stocked, clean and just what we needed for a big family. We were able to have our own space and eat together in the big open dining room. Everything was perfect. The list in the guidebook helped for when we needed food suggestions. And the hot tub a big plus for the cold. We went for a wedding and were 15 mins out from the venue, it was a big help to be that close to just run back and forth. If weʻre ever in the area, I would not hesitate to book with Adam again. Thank you!

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood. Open floor plan is good for family engagement. Spacious kitchen. Readily accessible to local restaurants and activities via car. Enjoyed the pool table. Did not use the swimming pool or hot tub due to cooler winter weather, but these would be very nice amenities as the temperature rises. Furniture is typical of what is expected for a vacation rental unit but is clean and comfortable. The bathrooms and kitchen are in very good shape and have modern finishings. The refrigerator is immaculate. Modern/clean washer and dryer. Johnny is an excellent host. Communication was great and on point. He checked in on us and let us know he was available but otherwise gave us our space to enjoy our family time over the winter holiday. Thank you for the full rack of K-cups. We put them to good use. We would definitely stay with Johnny again.

Cindy was a great host, and we really enjoyed our stay at her place. The apartment was just as described: cozy, private, and ready for us. Cindy’s clear communication and care made everything simple and pleasant. We also noticed and appreciated the thoughtful touches that made the stay extra nice. The house was perfect for travelling with 2 kids and grandparents. There was enough room to play around. They also enjoyed the front yard with a play house and all the sports gear. The kitchen has everything you need. The locaties is also good. It is a very quiet place. Many things are nearby. we really enjoyed our stay.

What a special, SPECIAL place. I was so sad to leave and STILL wish I was there right now. The perfect little escape, was pretty much a wellness retreat. We got to reset and relax before the start of the new year in this storybook home surrounded by Mother Nature. Doing yoga under the trees, seeing all the hummingbirds and butterflies come to visit, enjoying the cowboy hot tub under the stars, sweating it out in the infrared sauna, and getting cozy inside the most charming home was exactly what we needed after a long year of work and travel. This is such a sweet and special place and we can't wait to return one day!! Amazing location. You can have all the privacy, peace and quiet you want, or you can go into "town" and grab a bite or get to the store if needed. Convenient, yet private - the winning combination when it comes to location. All of the stars go to the host - Lynne is a total sweetheart. Super responsive and easy to communicate with. We can't thank her enough!

My stay happened to coincide with the wildfires, and I appreciated Adi’s prompt communication and responsiveness. The unit was very tidy, comfortable, and peaceful and convenient to nearby cafes and stores. Adi is a very gracious host.

Robert And Arlina were fantastic and so accommodating we fled the la fire and Robert and Arlina went on and above to help us feeling safe and so well taking care of the house is fantastic and so close to the beach i really appreciated that every room had a tv, so it was easy to follow the news and see how the la fire developed i can really recommend staying here you will never find a more accommodating hostess

We loved our stay. I did not have a car on one of the days and walked into town and every car that passed waved. Everyone was so friendly and the energy of the space is chill. Super clean and all the things we needed were available in the air Bnb. The host responded immediately when I had a question so we felt well taken care of.

A great place to stay. Roomy, comfortable, clean and well equipped. The fire pit outside was a great spot to assemble during the chilly January evenings. Our hosts Michael and Kate were available and helpful whenever we had questions prior to our arrival -- and once during our stay, when we weren't quite sure how to get the oven working. That's it. Overall, a terrific find -- both the property and the hosts.

We absolutely adored this hidden gem! Jamie made us feel right at home and the space was perfect for us. Lots to do and see in Ventura, we explored point dume which was a quick and stunning drive down the PCH. Jaime’s two dogs were adorable as well, Hank and Bookie i believe were their names and it was a pleasure to have them greet us :) thanks Jamie we can’t wait to come back again soon!

Sandra’s place was wonderful! It is a cozy little cottage and great deal for all the amenities she offers.

Cozy cottage in beautiful surroundings. It is an ideal getaway for the hustle and bustle of the city. The cottage is located within walking distance of hiking trails. Few minutes from PCH and local restaurants. It is rustic but cozy and clean with all the basic amenities. The beds were comfortable with extra mattresses for the daybed and the sofa pullout. Sean and Amber were very helpful and responsive to our needs with detailed check in instructions. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and enjoyed the surroundings.

Great place for families. lots of room, kitchen with enough utensils/appliances to cook for family. just like home.

We loved our stay here. Very close to the neighboring cities of Ojai and Santa Paula with grocery stores and restaurants. The kitchen/living area was very spacious and had everything we needed. We had issues with odors from the toilet but we contacted the host and they were very quick to resolve the issue! They also included a user guide for the wood fired pizza oven although we didn’t end up using it. The creek right next to the trailer was in full effect and very relaxing! I would definitely recommend Szilvia’s relaxing stay.

Our home away from home! My wife and our 2 children spent 2 weeks here and it was a great home base. Quiet and in a unique location.

Cute place and great location!

This was our second stay with Michael at this Airbnb and we had a great experience! The space is clean, central, and cozy. The bed is very comfortable-we had great sleeps every night- the space was a perfect size for us, and a welcome drink was a lovely touch. We travelled with an infant and it was great to have a kitchen. The location is very central with close access to many grocery options, great restaurants and stores. The location made it easy to take day trips out to other nearby cities & beaches too. We arrived just as the fires began and we are incredibly grateful to have been staying here at this time. Michael went above and beyond to ensure we were both comfortable and prepared/aware, he treated us like family. It made a great difference being able to talk to someone local about what was happening and it truly allowed us to make the best of a scary situation. This Airbnb is truly a gem-a cozy & comfortable space with wonderful hosts! Highly recommend this one!

Wonderful spot in a relatively private environment for the area. Very clean, very spacious

Had everything we needed and enjoyed our stay. Neighborhood was fine, but not pleasant to walk. On the other hand, enjoyed Thai food cart plaza nearby and traffic was easy.

We had an amazing stay at Katherine and Logans place. We travelled as two adults and two kids and the place was ideal for us. The garden is so sweet and private and the pool was the highlight for the kids :) The place was spotless and the photos did not do justice, its better in reality! The location is perfect, you don´t feel the buzz from central LA, but there are great restaurants and supermarkets just around the corner, and it´s very easy to access Universal Studios and other highlights in LA. Katherine and Logan are a wondeful couple and we felt at home the second we arrived!

Love the airstream! Such a beautiful property, friendly host, gorgeous views, nearby hikes, and wonderful location are just a few things we adored here. If anything came up, the host was quick to meet our needs and go above and beyond.

This was a clean, extremely comfortable, and tastefully decorated apartment (full of original art!) with wonderful light and beautiful surroundings. Debbie was responsive and so friendly. Not fancy but far from shoddy! Entrance does require going up a fairly steep flight of stairs.
