Vacation rentals with a kayak in Calabarzon

We had a quick trip to Puerto Galera and loved discovering this corner of the world! The house is a comfortable beach house perfect for entertaining and just quality time. They had board games and a fussball table too. Our kids loved hanging out in the loft and playing non-iphone games, which we loved. Bathroom towels and beddings were of hotel quality, aircons and heaters functioned well too. The kitchen was well-stocked and had everything we needed for cooking our meals. We asked Rose to cook for us for a fee and her liempo was divine! There is a grill in the garden too and we set up the table outdoors to really feel the place. The beach sand is good and we swam in front of the house. The kayaks were a welcome treat and we rowed around in the area. A fantastic stay, from a great house, attentive caretakers and a quiet and beautiful location.

The place was very spacious and the location was great. I like that there's a lot of places to lounge around the property and activities to do at the property itself. Only thing i found lacking was the appliances and amenities were a bit dated but overall we had a great stay. The property was just as described.

We had an amazing vacation with our pet dog here. We were able to take somewhat of a hike nearby, and swim in one of the cleanest water I've ever swam in. The place is amazing and everyone including Joey, Sir Nino, and each and every one of the locals were so friendly. The only thing that would be great is if they were to have food offerings themselves- though it is highly understandable why the logistics of that would be very difficult. nonetheless, the experience is priceless, and a place to create memories everlasting.

Our second stay here was as great as the first! The home is clean, serene, thoughtfully curated and with a beautiful view of the ocean and overall ambiance. Ate Karen the caretaker provides warm and hospitable service and Melissa is super responsive and a gracious host. Karen helped us arrange a boat ride where we snorkeled and even saw a dolphin! She could have also arranged in-home massages but we ran out of time. Later we found Lawom massage just a few minutes drive from Melissa’s place which we will definitely go back to at future visits! Just a quick drive to Altrove which is our favorite for delicious Italian cuisine.

We stayed for 3D2N and we really enjoyed. Rooms were super clean when we arrived. The caretakers were all helpful when we needed something.

Perfect getaway for nature lovers. The vegetation, farm animals, and lake provide a unique experience you wont find in most airbnb accomodations. The home is spacious and clean. Staff were friendly. The pool was nice too. Overall it was worth the price. Would definitely book again in the future.

The place is very homey! We instantly felt at home because of the serene atmosphere and the very chill lifestyle people had there. Ms. Angelica was extremely kind and helpful. She helped us with everything including the food! They cooked inihaw na liempo, manok and tilapia.. and it was sooo delicious! I booked last minute but everything went so smoothly. The only problem is the place we booked is too small. We should have opted for the Villas since it had its own private bathroom. The one we got was a Nippahut style and it was too difficult to move around inside. It was very cramped. Thankfully there was airconditioning which was very cold specially at night. The bed was comfortable but only few pillows were available. But I love the bunk bed style! It was very probinsya like which is cool. The bathroom we had was outside and it’s so small and a bit dirty. The beach was okay - the sand is just filled with stones and shells, so it’s hard to walk on. Overall it was a great experience!

We had a wonderful stay! The host was highly responsive, and clear instructions were provided for check-in. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, accommodating, and friendly. The place itself was peaceful, and we especially appreciated the well-equipped kitchen—everything we needed was there, and if there’s anything you request , they quickly provided it. We will definitely be book this again ❤️

thank you Maricar for your staff Manong Gerry, Karlo, and Nanay for their concern and hospitality at the place. we had our car lights still on on the first day at the parking and Mang Gerry notified Karlo right away so we were able to turn it off. commendable to have Karlo at the place for always assisting us to and from the boat. we had a senior on board and he was very accommodating to our grandparents. our only concern would be the bathroom, I hope it would have assistive bars to be senior friendly and also if there could be rubber mats as it gets slippery. the bathroom that we had in our cabin has no separation between the toilet and the shower so it gets wet. although Nanay has shown us a different cabin that has a divider. if we can request that cabin for our next stay, we'd like to house our grandparents and other senior relatives in there. great view to wake up on, and we enjoyed kayaking and bonfire. we will definitely comeback with family and friends.

I quickly felt right at home. The staff were helpful and the Manager was close at hand to sort out any needs. My room, a studio, had everything I needed including a functional kitchenl that I used everyvday. My view from the balcony was across the strailt to Luzon. l went to sleep every night to the sound of the waves breaking on the beach below my balcony.

My whole family had a great time at Balay Pulot. 🥰 The owner is accommodating, the caretakers are nice and approachable, the place is superb! We have EVERYTHING we need. 💯

We had an amazing time at Comoriver Retreat! The place is peaceful, surrounded by nature, and the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cabin was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. Karren was very welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed for a great stay. We especially loved the outdoor space by the river—it was so calming. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for a quiet and beautiful getaway in Laguna! We will definitely come back here! Had a really great time at the place, the lakefront view was amazing. The quietness and simplicity of the place was relaxing, away from noise and pollution. The swimming pool size was just perfect for us to enjoy. Thank God there’s a karaoke and we rented it, so much fun indeed. There are great dining options along the way to Cavinti but we brought our own food for cooking. The free use of kitchen with basic amenities was perfect, we were able to prepare food for the family. Overall experience was the best value for money. The cost to stay in a cabin was just very practical having an aircondition and shower heater and we got to enjoy the entire place. The only thing we missed was the kayaking because it rained, but we’ll definitely try kayaking when we come back again. Thank you to the host of Dumanna!
