Family-friendly vacation rentals in Cairns

Had a great 4 nights relaxing after travelling up the east coast and between 5 of us the price was a really good deal

Florien was extremely welcoming, right down to having ice blocks for my three children in the freezer and water in a bowl for my dog. He was very responsive when I had to text as I couldn’t work out the bbq. He maintained the property in a very unintrusuve and respectful way. Pool was immaculate and very much enjoyed by my children. Quiet and safe location. Loved my 5 week stay there. Highly recommend.

A beautiful place to chill out and relax. All the comforts you could want are provided. We loved sitting by the pool and watching the beautiful birds in the surrounding trees. Would definitely come back again.

We loved our stay at Mango Lagoon. It was just what we needed. Beautiful pools, kitchen space and comfortable beds. Would have been nice to be able to look out the window with the aircon still going (louvres needs to be closed to have aircon) but that’s a small issue of preference really as we would have loved to enjoy the view and pool view while we were nice and cool inside.

We loved our stay The pool area was a great hit with the children. Very easy check in/check out process, and hosts were so accommodating and responsive with any questions we had. House was very clean and well presented. Would definitely stay here again

A great apartment in a clean and secure hotel. The central location made across to trips , resturants and the harbour for trips to Great Barrier Reef very easy. The apartment was very clean , comfortable and as described. KAy even arranged to pick us up at the airport which made arrival very easy . Would book again if visiting Cairns.

This place was an amazing large space excellent pool with great garden setting , felt private too quite unique from other arbnb’s It was very comfortable and spacious having a lot of older kids in a blended family staying No one felt they couldn’t have their own space Only small things that could of helped was their were no bin bags or dish washer powder and the ice maker didn’t work but their was plenty of ice when we arrived there are board games and pool rings and towels the pool was making us itchy on the last 2 days Wendy was great communicating with us but not sure what it was in the end so couldn’t enjoy the pool on the last 2 days Other than these things the place is fantastic and an easy walk to palm restaurants and beach

Very comfortable and convenient location. Apartment has kitchen and laundry facilities. 5 of us had space and comfy beds. Easy walk to the marina and lagoon pool.

oh my Goodness what an amazing place. brilliant location right on the sea shore, amaz8ng outside space with comfy seating, dinning and pool. mesmerising views. could have stayed forever. most amazing place ive ever stayed. highly recommended, fantastic

Our family enjoy staying at David's so much we have been back 4 times. The pantry is well stocked. The living areas are large and comfortable. Undercover parking and a covered clothes line make dealing with wet season rain easy. There is also a good size internal laundry with a washing machine and separate dryer. All the bedrooms are a great size and the beds are comfortable. David's home is in a wonderful location. If you feel like a short walk the botanical Gardens and cafes are only minutes away. It's also only short drive to many of Cairns best attractions including the Sky rail and scenic railway, aquarium and lagoon. The location is also ideal, if you want to explore a little north of Cairns and visit Port Douglas, Mossman or the Daintree. You will also be well placed to vist Hartley's, and have an up close breakfast will the koalas. David's place is easily the best value in Edge Hill.

John & Sheree’s apartment was perfect for our short stay. It was so peaceful, tranquil surrounds leading to pool & a lovely stroll along the meandering Path into Palm Cove. Communication was great, John was very helpful with any queries. The apartment was well appointed with an extremely comfy king bed. We will certainly consider Agin apartments an again if we were to head to North Queensland. Loved it!

Very pleasant stay at Peter's, superb accommodation in the heart of the forest! The apartment is awesome and very well-equipped.

Very central location and suited our needs perfectly. We loved the security of having a car park undercover & locked up. We also enjoyed the large balcony. Any problems were solved very quickly & Shirley was a delight to deal with. On arrival in a new town & with a hire car the instructions for finding the key wasn’t very clear. After driving around the block because we missed it, we stumbled upon it at the car park entrance. All other instructions were spot on & clear. Great place to stay.

I recently stayed at this incredible Airbnb, and I can’t say enough good things about the experience! From the moment we arrived, the place exceeded our expectations. The home was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we could possibly need. The attention to detail made it feel like a luxury hotel, yet with the comfort and warmth of a home away from home. The host was outstanding—super responsive, accommodating, and genuinely thoughtful. They provided excellent local tips, from nearby restaurants to hidden gems in the area, making our stay even more enjoyable. The location was perfect, tucked away in a quiet neighborhood but still close to everything we wanted to explore. Whether we were relaxing in the cozy living room, enjoying morning coffee at the pool-view backyard or winding down in the plush beds after a day of adventures, every part of the stay was pure bliss. I highly recommend this airbnb for anyone looking for a perfect blend of comfort.

Leigh's place was amazing. She took care of every minute details to make our stay comfortable. I would love to stay at her place when I come back to visit Cairns. It's totally value for money. I recommend it to whoever is visiting Cairns. Most of the attractions were very close. Leigh was quite helpful and supportive.

Beautiful home, quiet, clean, comfortable. The host was amazing, our other accommodations were cancelled and we were scrambling for housing and Dee responded and let us in right away. Dishwasher was acting up and she got it replaced same day!

The location was stunning. There was a lovely swimming pool and a spacious veranda looking out onto the sea. It was very peaceful and the house was immaculate. The beach was a five minute walk away. We had a lovely break and couldn't have asked for anything more.

Had a wonderful family stay over Christmas and New Year at Clifton Beach in this property. It had all the amenities we required and we were able to enjoy some quality time with our extended family which we had not seen for 5 years.

The condo is located right in the heart of Cairns - no car needed, we walked everywhere we needed to go. The balconies were great for relaxing. The apartment is a large size, so plenty of room to spread out.

Great staying at Nigel's place close to everything we needed, great communication. Big roomy place, great for my 5 year old daughter she had a ball swimming in the pools. It is a very secure place. The grounds are wonderful the apartment was lovely. Had a bit of a hiccup checking in when the key was not ready for pick up but Scott came straight away and let us in. Over all we would stay at Nigel's place again with out hesitation.
