A lovely, private, spacious and a little quirky place with most gorgeous views from the garden. Steep drive but manageable. Andrea and Xavier are the most welcoming and accommodating hosts, very relaxed about our not-so-easy dog, which made all the difference. Please make sure you look out for their message with clear location pin, I missed it and spent some time looking in the wrong place. We would love to come back!

We loved this apartment in Colombres. It was spotless and just like the pictures. Very comfortable and very well cared for. Candida is very kind and aware that everything was fine for us. Colombres is beautiful and very well connected, with the A8 very close. Ideal for visiting both Asturias and Cantabria. We will be back for sure.

What an out of the world place to stay - remote location, views, walks, even very challenging cycling routes - the hills are steep and long even for someone used to biking in Scotland. The cabin itself was very nice with everything provided, also the pool which Hilary used each day. Highly recommend if you like being remote - don’t despair as the approach road heads towards the sky for 6km and 600m into the air - the cabin does exist!

Our stay in the Capricho was wonderful. With a rented car we were able to get to a variety of Liebana trails easily, and further trails in about 90 minutes. The washing machine and dryer were key to keeping our hiking clothes ready for the next adventure. We made food in the very serviceable kitchen almost every night. I would recommend the BM grocery store nearby as the most stocked, but any of the nearby grocery stores are good. The stay was very quiet and the blackout shades worked wonders. We were always able to find complex parking. We would definitely stay in the Capricho again if we revisit Liebana.
