Absolutely phenomenal Airbnb experience in downtown Ottawa! The unit was perfect – clean, modern, and ideally located. But the real star was the host. Their communication was lightning-fast and directions were crystal clear. They were incredibly polite, flexible, and understanding, going above and beyond to ensure my month-long stay was flawless. Truly the best Airbnb host I've ever had. Highly recommend!

The unit did not have an assigned parking spot. Parking in the area was a problem. Street parking was strictly patrolled and limited to 2 hours during the day. Ottawa is not a friendly place for visitors that have a vehicle.

I really enjoyed my stay with Olivier and his family. They made me feel welcome and at home during my 3-month stay. Olivier was always responsive to my requests when supplies were running low, for any repairs, or if you needed to borrow something. If you are interested in any outdoor activities in the Ottawa area, he is your go-to person. The unit is very spacious, has a well-equipped kitchen, and a very large washroom. Despite it being a basement, it is well-lit, with several large windows letting in the daylight. The heated floors are a miracle in the winter. The location is absolutely fantastic. It is a short walk to two grocery stores, a library, the Rideau Centre, Byward Market, and the NAC. In addition to being very walkable, you have excellent connections to public transportation on buses and the LRT. If you are a student at Le Cordon Bleu Ottawa, it is only a 10-minute walk to school, and you will have an abundance of reusable containers to bring your food home.

Had an amazing stay! the area was very central, close to restaurants and easy to get around. The Airbnb itself was cozy and well kept. I would highly recommend :)
