Your private front entrance into unit #1 is the brown/glass door on the left side of the home. The 10' ceilings make the retreat feel incredibly spacious. It includes a king bed, a coffee maker, a fridge/freezer, a microwave, a ceiling fan, and linens. The custom-tiled bathroom has a solid-surface double vanity and a large shower.

Beautiful home and setting- exactly as described. We didn’t have good luck with weather so the hot tub and area under the house were lifesavers. Probably the best stocked Airbnb we’ve stayed in and hosts are very responsive. I will mention that there are a lot of things that aren’t open this time of year, but there was enough for us to eat out a few times. Overall a great stay.

This house was perfect for our family of seven. The house is very clean, cozy, and quaint with beautiful backyard having the Pamlico sound as their back drop. After trying for a few years to schedule a family vacation, this became ‘our spot’. Of all the places we looked at, we decided this place had ‘something for everyone’, and it did not disappoint. The upper deck was our go-to place for morning coffee, and a breath-taking sunset view over the sound. The adventurers had kayaks for the sound and boogie boards for the beach. All enjoyed exploring the area, visiting museums and different beach access points. Much fun for gamers, too. Our ‘eat out’ plans changed when we saw the well-appointed kitchen. We baked with the KitchenAid, and — how many places have a perfectly seasoned cast iron pan waiting in a beautiful, modern kitchen? Plenty of towels and extra covers for the chilly nights, also, made us comfortable. Our hosts were extremely responsive before and during the trip. We never felt anything was ‘too small’ to ask. They also provided a solid guidebook. It’s clear they love this place, and want guests to love it, too.

We had a great experience at Sarah’s house. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Lots of kitchen supplies which I loved since I do a lot of the cooking when we travel. My kids LOVED being on the water, we forgot our fishing poles, but they were able to catch crabs and shrimp. The locations is great and easy to access the beach, restaurants, and tourist attractions. I would definitely recommend and would stay again if we are ever down that way!

This was our second time staying at Hatteras Happy Times and we love it there. The location is beautiful and peaceful . The house is located at the end of a street with views of the sound all around. We spent lots of time on the deck watching the birds and relaxing. We could put our paddle boards in directly across from the house. Highly recommend!

Attention to detail in this property. Great location. Beautiful sound front property with wonderful outdoor amenities. My husband and I kayaked in the sound behind the house and met the oyster farmer that is close by. The local restaurants are great and we were able to ride our bike to them. The decor was very cute. Outside shower was convenient.

Perfect “get away” for our group of 5 and puppy. The location was close enough to restaurants, and shops, but far enough to get away from the busy part of Nags Head. The house was beautiful! We loved how much it felt like a home! Check in was easy, and the house was very clean. It had everything we needed and more! We didn’t plan on cooking during this trip, but the kitchen had everything, in case we did. The view was great, and at night, you could see every star in the sky. The beach was just steps away and beach chairs were already provided. Hot tub, outdoor shower, smart TVs in every room…they even had a crate with a pillow made up for our 19 pound puppy! There are so many great things to say about The Swingin’ Dinghy! We’d love to stay here again, the next time we visit Nags Head! Thank you so much Ashley & Bridget! You are awesome hosts! We appreciate how responsive you were when we had any questions!

Erin was very friendly, accommodating & very responsive before & during our stay. There’s plenty to do if just want to stay home, relax & fish off the dock.
