Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Buxton

This was a great rental for our family’s first trip to the Outer Banks. We brought our three young kids and dog; everyone was comfortable and had a great time. The home was well-stocked with everything we needed. We loved the hot tub and the short 10 minute walk to the ocean. Michael was a great host! Will definitely plan on staying here again!

Our stay was lovely! Everything in the house is quality. Comfortable beds, quality kitchen supplies, convenient ice machine, lovely decks. Beauty in the details inside and outside the house. From a hose to wash your sandy feet before entry, baby gate at the stair, a wooden tray to carry your coffee and breakfast to the porch with views of the ocean, to throw blankets in every room for snuggling under while watching your favorite movie on the many selections. The dogs were comfy and so were the two kids. Puzzles and board games in the cupboard, beach towels and muslin bath towels to dry off. Loved everything about our stay. Steps away from the beach at any time and laying on the roof deck at night to watch the stars. Mark was extremely responsive, sending a short video on how to use the nest HVAC. Super comfortable pillows for both back and side sleepers. Blackout curtains helped for those who need them. We slept with the windows open every night enjoying the waves. Had a magical trip.

Staying at Ryan's place was easy from start to finish. The house is located in an excellent location, two blocks to the beach, and adjacent to all things Avon. It's roomy enough, has great deck space, and is has fresh modern design. Clean, well appointed kitchen. Ryan was easy to communicate with and super helpful. We'll rent again here for sure!

Our long weekend stay was peaceful and just what we needed to recharge. The beach chairs and boogie boards were nice to have for the beach! The walk to the beach was a little confusing at first, but once we found the right path it was very quick. Overall we loved our stay, especially the sleepover environment with the loft!

This home is beautiful. The layout provides privacy and lots of opportunities to spend time together as a family. There were many extras that made us feel so at home: tons of spices and a fully stocked kitchen, beach cart, chairs, etc. We loved having our coffee on the deck in the morning listening to the ocean. In the evening you can see the sunset over the sound of walk less than five minutes to a park and watch it hit the horizon. Sarah and Victor were quick to respond and clearly put together a space with guests in mind. Plus the most comfortable beds in any vacation property I've ever used!

We had a wonderful time staying at Kimberly’s home. Just a few minutes walk to the beach. The house was perfect for our family. Plenty of room for everyone.

Our family had the most amazing stay at the Otter House!! The location was perfect! The neighborhood is so peaceful, and the views of the sound are breathtaking! We enjoyed walking down the beautiful docks to take in the stunning views and sunsets!! The house itself is beautifully decorated, incredibly spacious, and immaculate making our stay so comfortable. From the well-stocked kitchen (they have thought of everything you could ever need!), to such comfortable beds with beautiful bedding in each room, every detail was thoughtfully considered. We loved waking up to the beautiful views and having coffee on the back deck! The kids loved the game room, and hot tub!! The owners were the best, and made us feel so welcomed! We would give this home and owners more than 5 stars if we could! Best experience and stay, we will absolutely be back!! Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with our family!!

Great place to stay, easy access to the beach and so close to everything.

Place was just as advertised and fit our needs perfectly for a family of 4. Frank and Frans is a two minute walk so that was convenient since we were there to fish. There’s a restaurant right next door and everything in Avon is close to Food Lion. Family walked to the beach one night without me and made it back….so must be an easy trip lol! Overall….great place if your a family of 6 or less.

Great location, perfect walk to the beach, almost like oceanfront. Great hang out space and kitchen. Lots of extra blankets, fan for the white noise people. Great outdoor shower and basketball hoop. Walk to the beach was quick and not too challenging. Clean pool and hot tub!!! Would definitely come back!!!

Seventh Heaven was the perfect vacation spot for my dad to take us (adult) kids and grandchildren to stay! We had everything we could ever need for making home meals in the kitchen. Plenty of towels and linens, extra blankets. Pictures do not even do this place justice! It’s beautiful. So spacious, and lots of room to spread out and separate when needed. Lookout, game room, pool & hot tub were excellent!! Had so much fun! Beach access was easy and right over the dune. Will recommend every time I can for an OBX vacation. 😍😍😍 We can’t thank you enough Theresa!

The beach house was in an amazing location close to beach access and local restaurants. Rooms are very large and could accommodate a big group with lots of space. The pool and pool area was a great bonus. We spent a lot of time on the front deck for meals and hanging out. The owners were quick to respond to inquiries and very friendly. We hope to visit again in the future!

Our off-season stay at this Airbnb in Waves, Outer Banks, was fantastic, even with the mix of rain and wind! The house itself was truly one-of-a-kind, featuring a unique half-dome architectural design that gave it a cozy yet spacious feel. With two beach-vibe comfortable bedrooms and a mezzanine loft, there was plenty of room to relax while still feeling connected to the open, airy layout. The curved ceilings and large windows access to the outdoor deck added so much character, making it a truly memorable place to stay. Our hosts, Riley and Gaby were incredibly accommodating and gave great local recommendations for outdoor activities and dining options. Even when we stayed in, we were comfortable thanks to the spacious layout, cozy furnishings, and well-equipped kitchen. We had an amazing time and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a pet-friendly, architecturally unique getaway with beach access, this is the perfect gem in OBX!

My family and I felt right at home in this cozy cottage. Great location, loved the privacy and porch. The beds slept great, nice liens and kitchen was equipped great to cook with. We will be back. When the app says that Mariano is a superhost, they are right on the money! This property is beautiful, well stocked, very spacious and just lovely! Lauren’s place was GORGEOUS! Lots of amenities and a great location. I first had chose this place for a vacation, which shortly lead to my fiancé and I getting married. I kept this airbnb to house my friends who were flying in from various places and they said nothing but great things about their stay. Thanks again Lauren for keeping my friends and I comfortable. My sweetheart and I traveled to Frisco for a long weekend away with our small dog and found Taylor’s place to be exactly what we were hoping for. We loved the fact that it is back on a quiet cul-de-sac in the trees, and we are not staring at other houses because we tend to like to be in nature and not around a lot of people. this space was perfect for the two of us, and felt much bigger than it looked because of the high ceilings, skylights, and nice clean surroundings. It was lovely to have an outdoor shower shower with warm, running water this time of year to wash our feet off, and I loved how they had even a little ceiling fan over the bed. The large couch was so comfortable to lounge on when we weren’t at the beach, and we found everything quite peaceful. It had a decent fridge and we brought a little cook stove with us so we could have espresso and eggs on the beach in the mornings. Lovely weekend, Taylor, thank you!
