Such a gorgeous and peaceful retreat! The view and ambience is even better in person, especially when the foliage is changing colors. Waking up for the sunrise view from the porch was unquestionably worth it, and looking out at that same view from the sauna was luxurious. The place itself is clean, cozy, private, and had everything we needed for a couple nights stay. Shawn was very welcoming and responsive, accommodating us despite a holiday-related scheduling conflict. We loved meeting all the furry friends, too! Would definitely recommend this place to a friend, and we would absolutely stay again ourselves.

Our family needed a place on short notice to accommodate our out of town stay to attend a family funeral. We were super comfortable staying here and Michelle was very responsive when we had a last minute adjustment to our check in dates. Would definitely recommend staying here!

This house is so beautiful and comfortable. It is exactly like the pictures, maybe better. Being a family of 5, with older kids is hard to stay at hotels because of space. This home had 2 full restrooms, and three bedrooms which was perfect. It was very clean and equipped with everything we needed for our stay, even extra blankets. The kitchen is clean and spacious. The outside is very spacious and private. My family and I got to Chico during a big storm that hit Northern California last week, we had a few issues that caused some electrical problems in the home. The hosts were very responsive to my messages at all times. They went above and beyond what they could do to make our stay great. We would definitely recommend and will go back to their home when going to Chico in the future.

A wonderful place to relax away from it all. Comfortable stay has everything you need. It is on a well water system. But other than that is perfect. Also, know that it is in the middle of nowhere so nothing delivers there and there is only a tiny market out near it. You definitely want to come prepared with provisions.

Judy gave us very detailed directions - we had no problem finding the Guest House or accessing it. The place and location were perfect for the four of us to come and go to the events in the area we came for.
