House vacation rentals in Bute

Andy’s house is fantastic for a celebration weekend. Twelve of us stayed there comfortably and there is so much public space that it’s easy to do different things yet assemble for meals. The view from the conservatory and garden is stunning. We had one person in a wheelchair and the house worked well for him too. Andy and Joan were welcoming and helpful.

Fantastic house - really comfortable and well located. The location is great right beside the shop. We also enjoyed using the leisure club, the claghsn inn and Skoosh. Easy access to the quieter side of Loch Lomond was ideal. Would definitely recommend.

Caravan was beautiful inside & out it was. spotless , it had everything you need & more and the small personal touches such a the welcome food items , toiletries , cleaning products the caravan had everything you could possibly want or need .

We had a fantastic stay. The place is spotlessly clean, beds and sofas very comfortable, and has everything you would need. Claire is a kind host - she took the time to send some tailored recommendations of things to do, which I hugely appreciated, and left us some Easter goodies to enjoy. The surroundings are very peaceful, we enjoyed waking up to views of sheep eating their breakfast in the field and it’s a great place to unwind in the outdoor hot tub. Very easy to drive towards Loch Lomond and beyond, and also accessible to Glasgow airport. Highly recommend staying here.

This place is huge. Fantastic views across the Clyde. It was warm, clean and amazing. We were visiting family and friends in the area and this upper villa fitted our needs perfectly. Marco was available if we needed him and was so accommodating even when there was a small breakage. We will definitely come back to this one as it was stunning and so well maintained and had everything we needed. Thank you Marco

We loved staying at Eileen's place. When we arrived we were totally blown away, the pictures don't do this place justice. The space is amazing, much bigger than it appears in the images. The house has absoltuley everything you would need and is just off the main street where there are lots of lovely shops, a bakery, a butchers & a very short walk to the train station which runs to Glasgow. Eileen as a host was great, she was very responsive and extremely helpful - we would definitely stay here again, could not recommend this place enough :)

We had a fabulous trip to Largs, the accommodation was lovely. The photos do not do the space justice. Bedrooms were very spacious and living are was really comfy. Location was superb, really near the town but also very peaceful. Thank you Laura for a fabulous stay, we will hopefully be back!

We met Alison and Arthur at their property and they gave us the guided tour, they were very friendly and knew we already knew the area very well so didn't need to give us any information. The property was amazing, lots of space and beautiful views. There is plenty of cooking space and the dining area with the views made breakfast fabulous. The property felt like a home from home. I would highly recommend this beautiful house.

We had a fantastic week - the house was absolutely perfect! Very comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and amazing views of the loch and the mountains. Samantha was a friendly and proactive host and we would recommend staying in this beautiful home. Many thanks for your hospitality!

Positives - Lovely and clean. Good kitchen space - Drew has thought about hosting many people, in terms of cutlery, fridge space, 2 dishwashers etc. Great venue for multiple generations to get together. The games room was super, the outside table space was great. Tips - take your own shower soaps and shampoos and a few extra dishwasher tablets. Drew was super helpful, I'd stay there again and i think that's the best recommendation anyone can give! Thanks Drew.

great location for station, easy accommodation for short stay

Great house in a beautiful location. The size of the rooms was perfect for our group. The hot tub was ready for us arriving and the fridge was generously stocked with complimentary drinks! The hosts were very prompt and helpful with their responses to our messages. Thank you for a great weekend!

This place is absolutely amazing. The place has a well-stocked kitchen and facilities, beautiful linen and furnishings. Beds were very comfy. Everything you need is in the house. Communication was fantastic, very prompt and friendly. The location is very quiet backing onto the forest, scenery is stunning. Only about a 15 min drive to Dunoon. It does have a steep driveway but easy to navigate with a couple of turns. The bedrooms don't have blockout blinds (seems to be a typical Scottish set up), so if you're a light sleeper an eye mask is useful, or we popped a blanket over the rail to make it darker. We will definitely return!

A real home away from home, I highly recommend staying here! The hosts are lovely, the location is beautiful, the beds are comfy and the house is immaculate. This is a real gem and the pictures just don't do it justice!

The location as well as the house itself is absolutely beautiful. You overlook the bay of Lochranza whilst sitting at the fireplace in the cosy livingroom. We felt it needed quite some time to heat up in the livingroom (we visited in April), so the first evening was a bit cold. The other rooms were fine though. The house was tidy, we'll equipped and beautiful architecture wise. There is a bus stop right next to the house, which came in handy for us as we didn't have a rental car. The coastel way is accessible right above the house, so there are plenty of nice hiking options just right outside the front door. We would definitely come back!

End to end this was a perfect break at a perfect place with a perfect host From a flexible arrival time to a great welcome chat and a problem-solving solution, Catherine and family were the consumate hosts. Accommodation was perfect for 2 families and x3 dogs! The icing on the cake was private access to 10 acres of fenced garden/woodland which was magical for the dogs and fantastic for us as the access was direct from the garden. The proof of a great holiday pudding is the answer to the question "would you come back"? The answer is 100% YES. Thanks so much to you all for a memorable holiday 🙂

Lovely place with stunning views as you go down the drive. Very easy to find and all amenities catered for. Clean and tidy with plenty of towels. Susie is very responsive if needed and easy to get in with.
