Beachfront vacation rentals in Bute

Loved our stay - we are regulars and love our visits. A wonderful, cosy flat in the most perfect location. Can’t wait for our next holiday!

Simon was never intrusive, but quick to respond with any query we had. The flat has a beautiful outlook over the lock with a large garden at the back which our cat enjoyed. The flat is warm and peaceful, and only 20 minutes from the car ferry at Hunter's Quay with Benmore Botanic Gardens, Kilmun Arboretum and Puck's Glen even closer for long walks. There are cafes and restaurants a short distance from the flat - we particularly enjoyed the Blairmore Cafe and shop - great for late breakfasts and late lunches. Will be back

A great stay stay here, the accommodation was very nice & homely, situated in a great spot very close to the beachfront. Lesley communicated very well to us on messenger & we extended by an additional 2 nights Would certainly return & definitely recommend to others!

Fircliff was a fabulous place for our family get together. The house is very well equipped and worked brilliantly for our group of 11. There’s plenty of room for everyone to have their own space if needed and two nice rooms to meet up for meals and socialising. Everyone had a really great time and we wouldn’t hesitate to go there again. Many thanks to Lucy & Ed

We had a great week staying at Natalie’s place which felt like a home from home. It is spacious but also cosy at the same time with fabulous views from the front lounge over the Troon Bay. We enjoyed long walks on the beach which is just a few minutes walk away with our 2 Labradors and fish and chips from the Wee Hurrie watching the sunset. We know the area well with family living close by. We always enjoy our stay in Troon and Natalie’s place is in the perfect spot to enjoy the area. Natalie and Cam were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely be returning!

I had a great stay at Norrie’s place, the house is in a beautiful location and was lovely and warm when I arrived.

Really enjoyed our stay in Lamlash. We travelled by public transport and found it easy to get to the property and about the island during our stay. There was also easy acces to restaurants, activities and groceries in Lamlash. Property was clean and cosy, with beautiful sunrise views.

Absolutely loved our stay at the Net Shed. What a stunning location, well equipped cottage and lovely, communicative hosts. It was just what we wanted - peaceful and overlooking a lovely little bay with plenty of stunning wildlife. The area is quite remote with limited eateries close by but the kitchen is very well equipped - perfect for cooking in! The log burners made the cottage feel very cosy and it was lovely and homely. A great base for exploring the Kintyre area. Highly recommend.

Great communication and location. We only had a short stay but enjoyed it and was perfect for what we needed!

Such a beautiful home, with incredible views of Loch long from the gorgeously kept rear garden. A 30 second walk to the Waverley paddle steamer which I'd recommend having a tour on and a restaurant/ bar a few minutes walk down the road. Would definitely recommend if you want a tranquil stay in an stunning property. Tom was really helpful with any questions we had and recommendations.

Great place to stay, very peaceful. Can see wildlife such as Seals and Otters from the window. Had one issue with the central heating but the owner rang promptly and discussed this with us to arrange a fix. Clean and tidy with all the things you require.

I've just returned from a week on the Isle of Bute, where I stayed at Ettrick Cottage. The accommodation is fantastic and really high quality with great views across Ettrick Bay. The hosts were very helpful with their communication prior to arrival and were very discrete. It was a wonderful stay in well appointed accommodation.

a wonderful studio flat, exactly how it looks in the photos. Most of one wall is a window looking across the lawn to the beach, sea and Holy Island. There are many eateries close. The Old Pier has fabulous soup, quiche and sausage rolls.

We have enjoyed our stay so much! The place is great, the view gigantic, the surroundings very worth seeing, and our hosts Jill and family are so kind and helpful. We can absolutely recommend here! Jill also had so many great tips and recommendations for trips with children. We'll be back for sure. Thank you!!!!

Lovely cabin, 3 bedrooms (1 single, 1 twin and 1 double), nice living area with beautiful view over the loch, well equipped kitchen, really nice outside decked area. The only slight problem was the bathroom door which sometimes jammed but that's only a minor quibble, overall a lovely place to stay for a short break or a longer stay to explore the area.

We had a really fantastic family trip to Joshua’s place. He is a fantastic host. The house is perfect for a large group get together with lots of indoor and outdoor space.

What a wonderful place to stay, right on the beach and with lots of room for friends / family. Very well furnished and high quality. A perfect location either for the golf or just for a few days enjoying Troon. Thanks, June!

We booked The Stroon to celebrate a special family birthday and to look into some university’s for next year. Colette was the perfect host. Friendly, accommodating and keen to make sure that everything went well. She left a beautiful welcome gift too of a large fruit cake, Prosecco, flowers and even balloons. Over and above. The Stroon is a beautiful property. It is tastefully decorated, warm, comfortable and spacious. The garden looked wonderful too and I’m sure it is the perfect space for summer evening dining. It has every appliance and gadget that anyone could possibly want or need. I’m not sure we even found everything I’m in the kitchen as it was so well equipped. The setting in Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond was breathtaking. If, like me, you enjoy open water swimming, sunrise and sunset on the sandy shores are a perfect time to just stretch out and feel at peace. Thank you Colette.

Perfect family gathering place with lots of room for everyone . The views are very special and we had the added bonus of a full moon over the water .
