We stayed at honeypot cottage for New Year’s Eve. The cottage is super cute and is decorated beautifully. We appreciated the welcome biscuits! The village is very peaceful with great walks from the front door. We walked to the swan with two nicks and it was a lovely walk with great food at the end! We struggled to get and keep the cottage warm and there is no way we could have done it without the log burner so worth bearing in mind if you’re renting in the winter! It’s also worth noting for those bringing dogs that the garden is not accessible directly from the cottage. You have to go through next doors courtyard which is easy enough, but just a bit of a pain if you have a dog like ours who refused to toilet in the courtyard 😅 Simon and Caroline responded quickly to our messages before our arrival but left thorough notes for us, so we didn’t have the need to contact them during our stay. I have no doubt that they would have been helpful!

Well we only stayed one night, but everything was perfect, and great value. Sitting area with tv, kitchen/eating area, bedroom, shower room. Pint of milk in the fridge, jar of coffee, tea bags, just what we needed. Nice dinner at The Cross Keys, short walk away. Weather was fab - cold but it was january. Walked into town via lakes, canal, and parks. Great experience, thank you !! :-)

Leon was a great host. The property was immaculate and easy to get in. Lots of communication! I’ll definitely be back and enjoyed my stay! Loved the stocked fridge! Thank you very much!

Our family stayed for a week over Christmas and felt right at home. The townhouse is beautifully furnished with thoughtful care to comfort and utility. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped for preparing a Christmas feast with lots of room for dining and lounging. Although we didn’t use it, the outdoor area would be wonderful in summer. The townhouse is situated in a lovely, street with car parking and easy access to public transport and local shops. We walked into the city most days (approx 15 mins) and also used the bus which was really convenient. Susie and Harley were very responsive, kind and thoughtful hosts who reached out to ensure we had all we needed and treated us with beautiful Christmas decorations and a welcome basket. Our family of 6 had lots of lots of room to rest, lounge and share special holiday moments. A Oxford perfect base and we were sad to leave!

The loft is a lovely cosy spot. My friend and I were visiting the area for an event and The Loft was perfectly located for us. We visited the Fox and Hounds for a meal and had a very enjoyable evening. Good food and friendly service. Celine is a friendly and helpful host and I wouldn’t hesitate to book this place again. Ideal!!

Had an amazing stay at The Woodland Retreat. Peaceful, private, cosy, secluded and beautiful surroundings - just what we wanted. Would definitely come back and recommend to others!

We had a wonderful stay over Christmas. The cottage and the village are beautiful. Stephanie and her daughter gave us all the information we needed and were lovely to deal with. Hope to be back again soon!

Very close to city center

Loved every bit of staying with them. Place was clean and tidy and went out of there way to help me find extra accommodation when i was in need of somewhere to stay after staying with them. Definitely recommend to everyone

That was the 3rd time that we stayed at Jenny’s lovely, cozy annexe. Once again, everything was perfect. Jenny is very responsive and looking after the place and her guests like it was the first time. Can’t wait for the next one! Definitely recommend it.

Everything was private as we were the only couple at the time and we had great hosts, both Victoria and Dan were very helpful and were always ready to answer any questions. The Cabin was beautiful and there were lots to relax and do with the billiards room and the Swimmcenter. Which were easily accessible and to use both the Sauna and the hydropool were relaxing and extremely private.

Brilliant stay for family Christmas The house was as described and all instructions were sent in advance of the booking The kitchen and dining area are huge, ideal for socialising , there was one small problem which was lack of saucepans, however, i had brought a couple, which I had pre-prepared food in Overall we had an amazing family Christmas get together, obviously Bicester Village is close by for the avid designer shoppers !
