Loved being able to sled in the yard. Was 20 minutes from beech mountain so it was perfect for our trip. House was beautiful and had plenty of space and heat. Had a great stay.

My family and I are very happy to have spent our New Year's Eve very nice and quiet, everything in the house is perfect, we fell in love with the place, everything is clean and organized.

Nice stay real close to everything that we were in town for a funeral service and to visit family. My mom attended Milligan College so the location was perfect for us to drive and visit within minutes. You can get to about any imaginable type of food you would want near by within 15 min. Or so The home was nice size and you could still have your privacy from your own family but still be together. Nice and clean home and host communicated rather quickly. Posting was just as described. Bed in one room is more firm while the one in the other was a little softer so it is all on preference. Decorated for Christmas which was a very nice touch this time of year. We would stay here again. Very easy to find. If visiting with children the extras on the top details visiting with kids has nice touch. Great service and very clean home with what we needed and way more! Thank you!

Our 2nd stay at Twin Elks did not disappoint. This visit was a winter wonderland and equally as beautiful as it was last summer. We noticed a few upgrades and a seasonal art exchange on the walls to coincide with the season, really thoughtful touches by hosts that have an eye for detail. We had our pups with us and they had a blast in the huge fenced in back yard. The deer were everywhere and walked right down the driveway, great to view from the dining room. Even though we were snowed in for a day, the board games and Roku TV kept us very entertained. We can’t wait for our next week to unplug and recharge in Twin Elks in beautiful Banner Elk.

Rented for a Christmas get together with family (5 adults, 3 dogs). The house was clean and comfortable, with plenty of room for everyone. Loved the fenced yard for the dogs and the sound of the creek. The Christmas decorations in each room were a nice touch as well. It was a perfect relaxing getaway.

Beautiful views, warm fire to enjoy snowy days, and a well-stocked kitchen. This has been one of my favorite Airbnbs in the mountains. I loved that it was family-friendly. They had a bumbo seat with a table attachment and utensils for our babies/toddler, which was amazing because we tried to pack light. Also, the host was very communicative when we got stuck in the snow in our rear-wheel drive truck (drive way is very steep so highly recommend only driving a 4WD/AWD car in the winter!). We appreciated how quickly they responded to us in our stressful situation. The rest of the weekend was full of fun memories with our family and loved that we got to bring the dogs. We had a lovely visit. The kitchen was well stocked, the place was clean, the beds were comfortable, and James was very responsive.

Great place, great hosts. easy to find, everything is great, the owner left detailed instructions, everything is clear. in the yard there is a great place for a fire, grill, rest area, everything is organized. a wonderful place with a view. today it snowed and it reminded us of our home in Russia.

Richard was a great host. He was responsive and even allowed us to check in and out at more convenient times. The location is tucked away and private. 4WD is definitely recommended as the drive way is very uphill and all gravel. The home is also so cute and extremely well built! We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was very comfortable and worked for our needs. It’s my husband’s hometown and was close to the people we weee visiting. Cheryl was always helpful if we needed anything.

Kevin was a very friendly host and his wife even made us cookies and offered to make us breakfast. Very sweet people and we will definitely stay again.

Abril and Christopher were extremely quick to respond-had a slight issue with the shower while we are there but they were immediate in remedying the situation. Great communication all throughout the stay. Was a bit more dated than we’d have expected from the pictures but for what we got and how close we were to the ski resort it was 100% worth it!!! Super cozy and the heat worked extremely well. Loved the storm door also that enabled light to flood in through the space. Looked like a brand new fridge was put in before our stay and honestly it had everything you could think of as far as kitchen gadgets go! Super comfortable beds and couch- perfect for après-ski relaxation! We will definitely stay at this place again!!

We enjoyed our stay at Tara’s home. Very well maintained- and great access to beech mountain resort. Spacious condo- and very nice space.

This place was super affordable at peak skiing season and was a 2 minute drive to Beech Mountain resort. The distance is walkable but with gear, I decided to drive. The host did inform me that if I needed groceries or something specific to stop in Banner Elk on the way as it is about 20 mins away. The condo was very clean and updated and had a balcony that looked down the mountain. Easy to access and parking wasn't an issue. Great communication from the host and the pictures accurately showed the condo. No issues at all. Highly recommend.

David and Jennifer’s place was a perfect place to spend a long weekend full of skiing and mountain fun. Perfectly located to the local amusement of Beech Mountain, it was easy to access Beech Mtn skiing, as well as restaurants and groceries options. The property is clean, spacious, comfortable and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable, and the kitchen is well equipped with all cooking tools (i.e. toaster oven, air fryer, waffle maker, microwave, coffee maker, etc.)-bring your own condiments, aluminum foil for baking sheets and lighter if you want to use the cozy fire place (you can purchase fire wood 3 min away at Fred’s Mercantile). Our family of 5 fit very comfortably. Added bonus, if you go in the winter months, the house has a couple of sleds that we used to sled down the hill in the courtyard of the condo at the bottom of the complex steps! Beautiful property, can’t image in how nice it would be to use the spacious side porch. Next time!! Thank you for having us!

I spent a few days in Hunter’s Airbnb to go snowboarding and the space is perfect if you need easy access to Beech mountain, literally not even a mile to get there. The space is super cozy and I love how much light the loft gives in the morning when you open the blinds. Lastly the view is unbeatable, I couldn’t help but have breakfast at the desk at the window every morning. Would definitely stay here again!

We love staying at Marina's house. Very well located, next to the ski slope, it met our needs. The view of the landscape is beautiful. We hope to come back again
