Cute & Cozy 2/2 Condo on Beech! Walk to Slopes!

This was our second time to Beech for our “Boys snowboard trip” and this place was exactly what we were looking for. Was a short walk to the slopes and much better than dealing with the crazy ski resort parking lot. The place was exactly as described and I would recommend it anyone looking for a place that is a short walk to the slopes for a reasonable price. Aimee was handling the booking for us and was very professional and on top of everything. Thanks again for having us and we can’t wait for our next trip up that way!

My favorite thing about this place is the Virginia Creeper being right across the street! Also, the fire pit by the river was so peaceful. It was so fun greeting the donkeys each morning! I also loved the hosts’ three cats. Definitely an animal lovers haven!

Cool House with Hot tub at Beech mountain resort

Location was great and everything was as described. There was a beautiful creek right on the property that you could hear, which added to the peaceful ambiance. The house is on the older side and there was a musty smell, especially in the lower level. Opening the windows helped to dissipate it. All in all, we had a pleasant stay and would recommend it!

Mary and Vaughn's historic home in Abingdon was the perfect location for a long weekend reunion with friends. The house was large and well appointed with all the amenities that allowed us to enjoy our time in Abingdon. Being in walking distance of downtown and the start of the Virginia Creeper Trail was a big plus for our group of 5.

Hiker Cabin-On the river and by the Creeper Trail

We had a wonderful stay in the Hiker cabin. Loved being right beside the Creeper Trail and the creek! Enjoyed sitting on the large deck after a day of biking and listening to the creek. This location is perfect for biking into Abingdon and back. Bed was comfortable and linens were a good quality cotton. The loveseat has power recline which we also appreciated after a day of riding. Our visit was just a couple weeks after Hurricane Helene and downtown Damascus was still cleaning up so we spent a little more time in Abingdon this trip. Our top recommendations there: Barter Theater, Greekos, and Tumbling Creek Cider Company. About 40 minutes south of Damascus (take S Shady Ave) is Blue Hole Falls, a series of 4 waterfalls - very much worth the trip if you have time.

What a beautiful cabin!!!! We were there for a week trying to get some snowboarding runs in before the end of the season. The Cabin feels secluded and you have your own privacy. We enjoyed cooking everyday, looking out at the views from the sliding doors was so peaceful! We got snow twice and the cabin is so cozy. We had such a great time and the loft was great to work in and kids enjoyed sleeping up there. We loved the fire pit out back, we made s’mores, stargazed and the hot tub was so great after long days on the mountain snowboarding. Great memories were made and our host was excellent! I want to go back already!

We had a great ski week staying at Daniels condo by Beech Mtn. Condo is on lower parking and easy in and out to resort and surrounding amenities. Daniel was clear with directions and with door key pad check in was a breeze. We will be back! Erik

Gregg’s place is a home away from home—very clean and well-stocked with everything you might need, from cooking essentials and coffee to toothbrush kits, shampoo, and laundry supplies. The area is peaceful and feels safe. The backyard is fenced, making it perfect for your fur baby. I didn’t bring mine this time, but I noted that the place is pet-friendly. The host is very responsive. Even though pets are allowed, there are no signs of them—no smells or pet hair. Thank you! We will be back.

Well appointed cottage with everything we needed. The host has made a great use of space to offer guests a comfortable stay. Great location within walking distance of all Abingdon has to offer. Discovered the entrance with no steps when leaving which is great for people with mobility issues.

Absolutely beautiful townhouse, very clean, and spacious. The backyard being fenced helped us keep the toddlers busy, because there is a lot of breakables in the home out and the furniture is not kid friendly, but the furniture was was more for looks and not comfort. The host provided, plenty of towels, blankets, kitchen utensils for cooking, washer dryer lots of amenities the host also provided very nice plaques through out the house for gentle reminders like “watch your step” “please use the cutting board” etc. Wonderful communication with host, easy check in and check out. Very covenant to many restaurants and shopping. Even with toddlers I would rebook this Airbnb.

My family and I really enjoyed staying at this listing! The location was walkable to local cafe's and restaurants and was tucked away from busy streets/noise. Perfect for families who are traveling to the local area. Check-in/check-out was seamless. Sheets and towels appeared of high quality and beds were comfortable. We would definitely consider staying there again!

Lovely condo exactly as it pictured. We just had a hard time finding it. It was extremely dark and late at night and we didn’t know the name of the condos so we had some difficulty but after that everything else was wonderful. Would definitely stay again thinking about coming back in the summer to explore the area.

The Nest had absolutely anything you could possibly need and more ready. In just a couple of minutes I was at my favorite spots on Main St. Janice was very responsive, helpful, and friendly. I loved hearing the birds in the morning and looking out at all the beautiful greenery. Thank you Janice!

This was exactly what our group needed for a ski trip weekend getaway!!! Cozy and quaint, with beautiful views and a nice fireplace inside. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The only minor concern we had was how small the showers were in the downstairs bathrooms, most of us used the master bathroom upstairs because of this. Otherwise, it was a great experience :)

We loved our winter stay here. Located just minutes away from Beech Mountain (and only a few more to Sugar), this large and spacious home was the perfect retreat for our snow sports vacation. The beds are soft and comfortable, with quality sheets, and the towels were luxurious and smelled so fresh. The weather heater takes no time at all to heat, and the hot tub was the perfect end to each day. Thank you Ryan and Shannon for a seamless stay.

This place is very welcome very cozy very clean with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very quiet and relaxing place .we enjoyed our vacation and we will come back . Had the most amazing trip to Beech Mountain. The home was beautiful and had the most beautiful view. We had a snowy day and it couldn’t have been more picture-perfect. We came for a snowboarding trip & were only minutes from the mountain. Highly recommend!!

Though it’s close to the main road, you need four-wheel drive in winter to get to this condo. We got stuck and could not reach the condo- ended up driving to the next town for snow chains as that was the only way to get there. It’s a nice place and very close to Beech Mountain but important to be aware of accessibility in winter.

We loved staying here! We had a lot of fun with the foosball table and games. The house was very clean and had everything we wanted/needed. We saw a lot of deer. The house was in a great location. We would definitely stay here again!
