Very friendly host, but difficult to communicate due to the language barrier. A clear email in advance, which allows you to enter immediately upon arrival. Spacious garage where you can put your car dry and let your ski stuff dry. The house is dated, but that was already visible in the pictures. Still, everything was clean! The beds are comfortable and clean. The kitchen also has everything you need: stove, fridge, dishwasher, microwave, coffee and tea. For the kids, there were games and a playsyation. Behind the house is a lawn where the dog could sniff. There is not much to do within walking distance, but it is about 20 minutes drive from the ski slopes of Winterberg. In summary, it is a nice, spacious, somewhat dated, clean house with plenty of space inside and outside. Friendly hosts and good location to relax.

The stay at the villa on Diemelsee was a wonderful short trip for our group of friends! Villa is beautifully equipped, in a fantastic location, with a super relaxing wellness area. Communication with Lauren was very pleasant! An absolute recommendation :)

Cozy little half-timbered house in the grounds of the associated hotel. Modern furnishings. Very friendly staff. We felt right at home, but sensible pillows would have been great. It was nice that we had our privacy, the possibility of self-catering was there (cooking), but we were still able to use all the amenities of the hotel (free breakfast buffet, free access to the large wellness area). Great is the outdoor pool in the summer. We rented e-bikes at the hotel for a fee. Beautiful surroundings for biking, hiking, etc. Biggesee easily accessible by bike or car. Good for a short stay of 3-4 days. Perfect for 2 persons.

A beautifully decorated, modern and very clean cottage! We (a couple with a toddler and dog) lacked nothing. The view from the dining room/conservatory was fantastic, and the hiking trails start right outside the front door. The house is equipped with a lot of love for detail and extremely well maintained. We felt completely comfortable. Thank you so much for having us as your guests!

It was wonderful, the landlords were just great. Immediately accessible and very nice. The house was just great, we were positively surprised by the amenities and everything you needed was there. Definetly recommend.

We spent Christmas here with the family this year. Everything was as described, the location is quiet and there is enough space to have some space to yourself. We will be happy to come back.

We had a family meeting at this beautiful place. Everything was very clean, the kitchen is well equipped and the common room was huge and flooded with light. In the morning you have wonderful sunshine on the terrace and can have a wonderful breakfast there. The kids were especially happy about the table tennis table. The accommodation is located directly on the edge of the forest and you can walk the dog there. We would travel there again anytime and highly recommend it. Many thanks to Anke and Jürgen

Top location for a group of cyclists. Enclosed garage for bicycles and other equipment. 8 real beds and spacious terrace+garden to do a beer after a ride. And, communication with Conny went very smoothly.

We had a wonderful weekend at Marina's Atelier 28. We were very comfortable right from the beginning. The combination of a historic building with modern interior design is very comfortable. The communication with Marina and the flexible check-in was great. The place is very clean and extensively equipped The city of Rietberg convinced us as a small but very pleasant half-timbered town. There are great cafes and restaurants in the area and in the pre-Christmas season the Christmas market is highly recommended. Thank you so much for letting us spend the weekend here!

A really nice house and totally comfortably furnished. Our kids didn't want to go home anymore. What I did not quite understand in the description, it is 2 bedrooms not 3. What was super fine for us, the children would have slept in a room anyway.

We had a very nice stay in the cottage of the Hoffmann family. At first, we thought it was weird that we were contacted privately. However, everything worked out very well at check-in. The cottage is very well furnished with the amenities. You will find everything you need for cooking or baking. There was also a bit of toys. The house is a little older. This smelled a little bit. However, this is priced in by the price-performance ratio and therefore fine. The location of the house or the holiday village is already natural. The lake was also beautiful in autumn. We were able to relax well. Thank you for the lovely stay:)

The house is incredibly beautiful and tidy! We had a very relaxing time there and made ourselves comfortable in front of the fireplace in the evening!

The accommodation is very suitable for a stay of 8 people. The bedrooms are spacious and there are 2 good bathrooms. In the kitchen everything you need is available. The living room has a comfortable sofa and a large dining table, which sits perfectly with 6 people. There is ample parking space and you even have a garage at your disposal, which is perfect for, for example, a mountain bike weekend (given the bike parks & trail centers nearby). All in all, the arrival, the stay, the departure and the communication were great.

We had a wonderful time in this house and felt very comfortable right from the beginning. It's incredibly well equipped – everything you could ask for was there, and we were always positively surprised! Whether in the kitchen, in the bathroom or with the little details, everything was really thought of here. The house is lovingly decorated, clean and invites you to relax. Parking one street away was also not an issue. The street is very quiet so we could load and unload relaxed without having to rush us. Overall a perfect place for a relaxing stay – we will be happy to come back!

Extremely well thought through and cozy furnished place! Exactly like on the pictures, has everything you need and beyond. Great landscape around, easy access and instructions. There are other houses nearby, but you barely see or hear other visitors. Thank you for hosting us, Karin!

We had a wonderful time at Martina's place. The area is popular for hiking. The house is very lovingly decorated. We especially liked the fact that seasonal decorations were there. The kitchen leaves nothing to be desired and was exceptionally well equipped. There was also nothing missing in towels, cleaning cloths, etc. If we had to mention a flaw, it would be the upstairs bed. That was a little too soft for our taste. Otherwise everything was wonderful and we'd love to come back!!!
