We had a wonderful time! The house was big enough for our large family get-together - and then some. Two refrigerators definitely made bringing and storing enough food for three days, plus a Thanksgiving meal, easier than using coolers and ice. (Yes, we’ve “roughed it” in the past.) Being pet friendly was the deciding factor for our choice of where to stay. :)

We had a very pleasent stay. The cottage was clean, cozy, and quiet, with the bonus of being right beside the lake.

Alan was very accommodating and communicated very well. We’d definitely recommend staying here and will be doing again ourselves.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable. The house was clean & cozy and equipped with everything I needed. The location was perfect, close to the lake, yet quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this place and would definitely stay here again.

This cozy little gem is a great little getaway place for a weekend stay. All your basic amenities. Clean, easy check in and such a great view. Walking distance to a few places to eat, but not to far from Ann Arbor either. Host was very responsive; friendly. I would totally stay there again.

My best friend & I visited for a girls weekend & absolutely loved our entire stay! Not only were we surprised with an adorable welcome basket but the Airbnb is so well stocked. The coffee bar was my favorite part - and there were also plenty of board game options! The Airbnb is absolutely stunning and you can tell a lot of thought and care went into the design of the A-frame. Surrounding views are beautiful and made for a lot of wild life sightings. Dustin was super responsive, helpful and even pushed back our check out time because the roads were super icy and wanted to give us some extra time to let the ice melt on the roads. Dustin definitely went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay - can’t wait to stay again with my dog in 2025!

My sister and I had a peaceful long weekend at Fish Tales. It was clean and comfortable with a beautiful view of the lake. It was fun to take the kayaks out and just RELAX. The cottage was a short drive to the swim race location at Half Moon lake that we were visiting for. If you are looking for a peaceful spot with beautiful views this is for you,

This house was an amazing find. We had nine family members (5 adults, three children, and a teenager) and everyone was able to fit nicely in this house. The property feels very private & remote, with tons of land surrounding it, but is still only 35 minutes from Ann Arbor and 55 minutes from DTW. We used it to explore nearby Chelsea as well as a home base to attend the UofM game. Given the high cost of game day AirBnBs in Ann Arbor, this place was a total steal! And the house itself is very nice with all the amenities you could ask for. Annette is super responsive and was always very friendly. The only drawback is relatively slow internet (YouTube TV is the available live TV in the house) but it's very clear in the instructions that they have the highest speed possible in this rural area so they have done the best they could and instead the focus is on the beautiful natural surroundings and wildlife (we had deer, foxes, geese, and cranes). All in all, great stay!!

This place was hands down amazing. from the private drive through the woods, past the horses and wild life, right up to the cabin itself was so beautiful. The property was so peaceful and there was plenty to do. Aaron was a wonderful host and very informative. If you are looking to get away and spend time with Family or just be alone in nature, this is the place We felt right at home and was sad to leave when the time came. Absolutely going back.

The experience at Mully and Deb’s cabin exceeded my expectations for a personal retreat. Being right on the walking path is such a treasure - with so many hiking paths just steps away outside. I was amazed out how incredibly quiet the location was. I could be out in those woods and hear no human activity. Fantastic! The cabin is extremely cozy with two reclining chairs that look out over the forest. This is where I found myself for hours reading and journaling. The wood fired stove is more than enough to keep you warm - even in this cooler time. And of course breakfast was a sure highlight - prepared with a lot of thoughtfulness. If you’re looking for a retreat - look no further than this cabin on the path.

This cabin is wonderful, So wonderful this is the second time we’ve stayed and definitely won’t be the last! Just can’t get enough of the wildlife and peacefulness this place has to offer, along with good food and tons to do just around the corner. The nite lights at the track were awesome, definitely worth seeing!! 10/10 recommend this cabin for a weekend getaway!!

The Lodge was a great place for our family to stay for a family wedding! We had a great experience, very close to lovely Clarkston! Dan was really great. The lodge was a great place fore us to gather and relax for this fun event. Hanging out during the day as well after events. It was great!

Maurice was very responsive, the fishing was fantastic off the dock, real nice place to stay
