Great place. Quick to respond to questions and very flexible when it came to making changes to the length of my stay.

We had a lovely stay at Spring Lake - the views were beautiful despite the storm! The only small issue we found was that a lot of the kitchenware (dishes and cups) was quite dirty so everything had to be washed before use, but this is likely down to previous guests! The shower was a little on the chillier side despite having quick showers and spacing them out so as to not drain the tank of hot water, as mentioned by the hosts. Other than that, we did have an enjoyable stay and would definitely return!

Want to add ana amzing review for Ian's property. Communication was speedy and efficient. The location was great (near De vere estate where we had our company summer event) the property was amazing! Very clean and tidy just as advertisedm. You could add a hot tub to that massive garden and charge more but just rating this property 5/5 based on my stay.

Lovely clean accommodation. We had 4 adults and 2 teenage boys and the accommodation was perfect for us all. The local area is great for exploring aswell. You need longer than a week to explore and see everything.

Beautiful and comfortable place for a family of 5. Private parking is just very convenient immediately outside the premise. Host was very responsive. There was a construction between Oxford Station and Botley Road that required us to drive a longer route to visit Oxford. When that was done, it would be perfect. I would recommend anyone visiting to stay here!

The host graciously accepted a very last-minute 5-night booking and jumped on making arrangements for our stay. The property was very clean and tidy and exactly as described. Everything worked properly and the host provided detailed access and parking instructions that were invaluable. The Estate is very peaceful this time of year (December) and we had near-solo use of the Spa facilities and on site restaurant when we wanted them. As a dog-friendly property a secure/enclosed rear space would be welcome, but the private Estate no doubt has limitations that might make this hard. Bear this in mind if your dog tends to wander or head straight into the Thames! You’ll need to remember to keep them on a lead/line in the rear garden. Note that there’s plenty of off lead space next to the lake a couple of minutes walk away actoss the road. We re really enjoyed the wood-fired hot tub, which was easier to use than expected, and we made use of the car charger - both are perfect additions.

The Avon lodge was the perfect retreat for a relaxing couple of days in the countryside. The house was beautiful, cosy, and spotless and we will definitely be returning. A bonus was our lovely host Carole, bringing us fresh pastries for breakfast in the morning which were delicious!

Cozy, comfortable, beautifully appointed. Lovely extras - toiletries and breakfast ingredients. Shower and bed were wonderful.
