Monica’s studio is amazing. It is well maintained, beautiful and has everything you need. It a beautiful place to relax, to enjoy the surrounding, the sounds of the jungle (as you hear the birds singing and the calls of the howler monkeys) and to work remote (good internet!). I’ll definitely recommend the studio to anyone who loves and respects nature/jungle life! The location of the studio is good. It’s not in the center of the town, which is good. Because there is a lot of music, traffic and parties. It is located in Cocles, which is more peaceful and quiet. I bought a bicycle to get around and that works perfectly. Keep in mind that there are a lot of mosquitos, so bring repellent. The only downside for me was the construction work nearby. During the week there was quite a lot of drilling. Luckily only a few hours and not during the weekends I would definitely come back! Monica is really kind, wonderful and helpful. Pura vida

What a place. We fell in love the moment we set foot on the property. Jessica was extremely thorough in her description of how to get there. You should be somewhat comfortable with driving bumpy and steep roads and without a 4x4, the place seems impossible to get to. However, once you are there, it’s picture perfect paradise. The house is rustic, beautiful and invoked childhood memories of secluded tree houses. Seeing sloths and toucans and hearing the howler monkeys while in the private pool was incredible. For the Americans: It basically felt like the Zaboomafoo animal junction for grownups. The house was impeccably cleaned, the open design made a fully immersive experience possible and we enjoyed seeing one or the other lizard chase through the roof. The kitchen has all the basics to stay in and cook dinner, the surrounding area offers a multitude of experiences. We loved every minute of our stay and could not have wished for anything better.

Her place was beautiful and I highly recommend staying here. We really liked the decorations and the overall style. The location was perfect because it allowed us to see the area of Cahuita, manzanillo, puerto viejo and more. Our host was awesome she communicated with us and was very responsive and gave us some good recommendations to eat and sightseeing. Definitely a five star place.
